Oh...the anointing is still here. Alll Glory Thanks to God & family for loaning him to us the time Mr Bridges was on this earth!❤❤❤ still soaking up this anointing in 2024❤
I love my church as all people should love their church, brothers and sisters but there is a problem and it begins with the church. There are too many "white" churches and "black" churches. Until we welcome each other into our churches we will never accomplish brother and sisterly love as God meant it to be. I am Canadian and I went to visit friends in Texas that just happened to be black. He was a deacon at his church. On Sunday, they went to church but apologized for us not being able to go because he said the black community had a mistrust of white people. I was shocked. In my small community all are welcome. We hug, we kiss each other on the cheek at times and just don't think about ethnicity. No, we aren't perfect up here and yes some people are prejudiced but I have never seen that carry into the church. Acceptance has to begin with the church. Pastors are our leaders in all things faith. If those doors aren't open to all with love, then the church has failed. Am I wrong? When the churches open their hearts, it'll spread.
You are spot on! I'm sorry for your experience. I don't think any of us want to stand before the Lord having to give an account of this kind of ungodly attitude.Whatever happened to there being neither Greek nor jew, neither male not female? And I imagine neither black, red, yellow or white. We're one body.Let's celebrate that.
Wide Awake you are right, I'm a Latina and our church was mainly white very few Latinos rarely any blacks. But we felt comfortable there, it's where God sent us and I won't go into how I know God sent us there it's a long story, but anyway many years later we are a mixture of Latinos, African Americans, Whites and Asians the way God intended it to be.
Everything this man of God sings is with God's anointing,I love to listen to him. Glory to God
