Hello. I bought it at an online shop that sells personal items. It is available on eBay or Yahoo Auction in Japan. It would be convenient to use a company that acts as a purchasing agent. But a better way is to find a used or new product in your country at a low cost.
Camcorder >> RCA TO HDMI Converter >> Captureboard >> PC (recorded with Captureboard program) This is the easiest way to record well and well. RCA cable and HDMI cable must be prepared. There are many ways, but the way I described it will be relatively convenient. Cheap file converters sold on the Internet have the worst image quality.
@@8mmSens I found a tossed out Sony Handy Cam video 8 (so it uses the mini video cassette) not sure if it works as I didn't find the battery! Thank you 🤓
@@8mmSens I was fortunate to find a couple of compatible battery packs (Ni - Cad type, so they are a little old!) but also found a pack that uses 6 AA batteries. Looks like the Sony works, but would need a video tape to test! Or use a RCA to digital converter! Thank you 🤓

Do you have to have a working battery in order to get the cassette cover to open?
Yes, that’s right. It must have a battery. Compatible non-genuine batteries are inexpensive and won't be difficult to get through overseas shopping
