  • Ten hours of my Porsche Boxster video series condensed into just 15 minutes! This was a rough car when I bought it but I went at it with a will and fixed everything I could! Brilliant reveal at the end!
So we fixed the heater, the soft top, the seats, the paintwork, the gear shifter, the windshield cowl, the misfire and even the brakes! All covered in this video and all done, filmed, written edited and researched by me in Connecticut!
I am really happy ot have given this excellent little car a new lease of life. If anyone tells you that a Porsche Boxster isn’t a real Porsche, laugh at them because they don’t know what they are talking about!
Come watch this Porsche Boxster’s story!

    LOVED this video!
I’ve followed the videos on the car. MAJOR respect for the DIY approach
You really should consider bringing the Boxster - instead of the 928 - to Werks Reunion Amelia Island next year and entering the concours in the judges lawn. It’s more about the story of the car than the absolute condition of the car that is important.
I’ll be there with my Cayman and hope to see you with us in the Boxster/Cayman group!

This one would have been hard for me to sell, great car and even better color combo. Those sport seats! These Boxsters are the next non air cooled stuff to go up in value in my opinion.

I hope so. They’re crazily undervalued IMO.

They'll go up in value without a doubt. The question is how quickly? Im more inclined to think growth will remain slow and steady for some time. They built a lot of these cars, they're fragile things with a poor repair cost/purchase price ratio, a ton of them were beaten and abused due to cheap prices landing them in the hands of cheap people (this could also work in its favor with less cars on the road), they carry the "hairdresser" stigma and they live in the shadow of the 911. I think a bit more time has to go by before people look past those things and this car sees any noteworthy gains in value. If the 996 makes a jump, it would make sense that the 986 follows. Just my opinions. Would love to hear what others think.

The great thing about owning a Boxster is that you can do so much yourself and get so much satisfaction out of it. Its hard to sell a car
when you’ve done so much. You did a great job and inspired me to get stuck in to improve my car. Its a pity you had to sell it but understand
    why you did.

Great video! My 996 has exactly same color interior and I have been looking like crazy those exact! seats you got for the boxster , because mine are a bit rough on the booster site, since they are over 25 years old by now (1999- 911). If you by any chance know where can I get them, will be forever grateful. As always great entertainment and useful videos. Julio
