    They are so beautiful. My first snake ever was an Eastern Garter and it had such personality.

    What do you feed your garters? I never really thought about it but surely they’re too small to eat mice?

      Mostly pinky (baby) mice, but I have also offered nightcrawlers, thiaminase-free fish, Reptilinks, and even quail chicks and adult mice for the larger females.
