I thought she was in a comfortable position. Jackie Treehorn
Great review. I'm trying to convince my wife to get the GV80 for herself. Over the Mazda CX9. I will trade in my Ram in another year. For the G80. I'm in LOVE with what Kia/Hyundai/Genesis is doing.
1994 fashon style on this japanesse vampire
Good review, gosh she's so cute hehe 💗
I’m a simple man, I see Mari and Genesis. I click.
All of a sudden the Germans don’t look so unbeatable anymore, this is a tremendous update. Genesis is simply killing all the established companies with fine luxury for less.
Many Genesis were tuned by A. Biermann (ExBMW)
yeah you're right but people usually go for the brand
@@Francis81z yeah bro but i already like their cars. I also like that not many people know about them. That makes them more unique. I don’t want to own a car that basically everyone has or knows about. It’s nicer this way but ofcourse genesis wants to sell more and make their brand more known
@@Francis81z their warranty is good when u buy a new car like this you’re not worried about the engine lasting 10 years
@@Francis81z BMW and Mercedes have been around for decades and they’ve proven their reliability is terrible. Not to mention their resale values sink like a stone very quickly.
Mari is probably one of the best female auto journalists / reviewers! Pleasant to listen to, informative, knowledgeable, candid and also very easy on the eyes!
"It looks like 5 designers all came together and exploded on the interior."
...Kinky.
Well it is the truth, i swear to god that's what i said when i saw this car. Bently, Rolls Wraith, Bently, Aston Martin, Mersedes new versions
I did some research, and oddly enough, turns out they...really did have 5 designers come together and actually explode all over the interior... Crazy, but it's true.
@@TheGrandmaster1 is that why the interior is so white... 😐
@@peepinR Well, disturbingly....and truly, yes. Yes it is the reason. I know it's a bit off putting and gross....but yes.
They should have come together a bit louder and harder to please her😇
It's a very soft drive ... the whole car shakes and her head almost hits the ceiling from a road bump ! lolz I really laughed
😆
I came here to check if this is the first comment.
Rob me too! Haha!
Calm down Jeremy Clarkson. Her head is like a foot away from the ceiling.
She went over a speedbump at 70+ km/h... who tf does that
I like everything about the refreshed G70 exterior and interior, but I just wish they would add either a rear window sunshade, side window sunshades, a grab handle on the driver side and at least a 12 color ambient lighting system and of course a more dramatic exhaust sound on the 3.3T models.
Grab handles on the driver's side are now being regulated by the govt, apparently, it is something that brings attention away from the road and causes drivers to become distracted. Like if you were the type of person who held onto it sometimes while driving, it keeps you from having two hands on the wheel.
@@biologicalstorm349 that make since and I completely understand to some degree, but when their other vehicles, even the ones with the 3.3T and 3.5T engines, there’s driver side door grab handles. Even their new and lesser models have them. But I can see the regulatory part of it.
As a new owner of the 2022, I've noticed the grab handle is missing, too.
For the price they are great cars
You can control the engine sounds in the sound settings. Options are soft, normal, loud
Also heads up display height is adjustable in the vehicle settings.
This is a good looking car. Good job Genesis
I really like reviews with Mari. I enjoy her honesty and her point of view, even if it sometimes is different than mine, but hey! Isn't it the way it should be?.. I am so glad You (Motorgraph) made Eng channel - Europe here.
Thank you for the comment. Stay safe!
Hahaha yeah. She supposed to say good points. But what? You don't like this, don't like that lol. She's blast
Informative review. Genesis has come such a long way.
Mari is a good car reviewer. I like the fact that she did not sugarcoat Korean cars. Most Korean car reviewers are cheerleaders for Hyundai/Kia. I'm glad Mari is not one.
ur just simping
and she is hot too
"5 different designers came together and exploded into this interior"
thanks for that visual :D
She is telling the honest feelings on the car. ✌️
I love this car!!! Idc what the review says. They’ve improved this car a lot. Looks way more mature
I really like how clearly you speaking and how detailed your reviews are. It really makes your channel a pleasure to watch!
Thanks!
I agree about the exhaust being too quite, most people that will buy the 3.3t will want a louder exhaust but the car is beautiful and unique looking.
I agree. I have a 2020 3.3 sport all wheel drive.
You can adjust the height of the heads up display in the drivers settings based on how you adjust your seat.
“It’s a very soft bbrrrrrr drive”
😆😆😆 This needs to be her thing! 😆😆 “When going over bumps, it’s very smooth” * BUUMPPPP *
I busted out laughing when this happened 🤣🤣😭😭
I purchased a G70 3.3t. I love it so far.
Enjoy your new ride 😎
My wife and I have a 2020 fully loaded and the vehicle is too quiet. You have to remember the G70 is a sports sedan. You want a cruiser get a G80, or G90 the G70 is their sports sedan.
You can order some aftermarket performance parts from Korea for this car. Some have had custom Borla exhausts put on their 3.3L Twin Turbo, it sounds 100% better. There's a whole forum of Genesis owners, just google it.
@@atcguy2007 I know I'm on two different forums.
I've been waiting for this G70. Such a beautiful vehicle
6:21 "it's not that hard"😁
6:29 "It's a very soft drive" LOL
This is G70 which is the smallest model in Gensis. If you want a bigger room and more luxurious features, go by G80 or G90.
Thank you beautiful 💘 Mari 💘 for introducing the new 2022 model G70. You have the sweet soft voice and keep up the great work. 👍 👌
You are an excellent reviewer. Such great detail to help make a buying decision. One of the best on RUclips.
I love this reviewer- she is very straight to the point and pleasing to listen and watch
I literally came here in the comments just to leave a comment for you more specifically the lady in this video, love the review and love listening to her. Idk if you get this often but please keep It up! There's something about a Asian speaking fluent English reviewing a car makes me feel comfortable and excited it's hard to describe, there's definitely room for improvement in the reviewing aspect but other than that I'm loving it especially the new genesis cars, making me want to buy one
That spec is perfect for my taste. Very well done
Agreed
Love it, Korean made cars are getting up there.
I really think Genesis is heading into the right direction but this is a refresh.. after the next gen, all the R&D from this latest will fine tune for the next gen. I agree, the emblem would've been great for the rear hatch of the trunk. Color is awesome.. but the best is the presenter. Great review Ms. Cho!🙏
I like the refresh but I think I will keep my Stinger for a little while longer. I was hoping for the 3.5TT. Very nice review, I appreciate your candor.
Thanks for watching :-)
Rear trunk lid looks odd... the rear tail lights should have extended into the rear trunk lid or there should have been some design in the lid near the tail lights to add continuity. As it stands, the rear tail lights look too abruptly cut off by the lines of the trunk lid. As a side note... the woman that reviewed this car is sitting WAY too close to that stearing wheel. In the event of an accident, that air bag would cause some serious injury...
I agree 100%
Wasn't sure how I'd prefer the new exterior design vs the old one, but in a darker color it looks great
lolz, came for Genesis review more persuaded of buying Stinger
Same
I bought one
Lol 😹
Stinger is nice
What an incredible review! This is the first video I've seen and I instantly loved Mari! She's beautiful, smart, well spoken, loves cars... Plus she's a great driver! Talk about an awesome woman! Very nicely done! I subscribed and will be back to watch more videos! I'm looking forward to it! Thanks, Mari!

Yes, simp, we know.
I love how the G70 tracks, I took it over a lot of those same roads, bumps do not unsettle it at all they are just disregarded.
The front end look wicked. Overall very sleek car. Thank you for the video.
As always Mari, wonderful review! The front lights are nice the more you look at them. Kinda of interesting you following a red Kia Stinger for a good part of the time. Yes the back seat is crammed. The center hump is huge, and that's being kind lol 😅😆. And Hyundai knows how to make AMAZING EXHAUST SOUNDS. Can you say voloster N and Elantra N. Look forward to your next review. Be safe, Frank from Georgia.
This girl does good commentary. It's nice to watch a car review with some opinion built in than just the features and specs.
The front gives me Alien 👽 vibes but I love it
Tommy Lee Jones will be proud :-)
Can't understand why some people complain about the styling of this car. It looks way better inside and outside than any Honda or Toyota products currently on the market.
Cuz it competes against BMW, MB and Audi, not Honda or Toyota :-)
@@MotorgraphWorld Acura and Lexus, to be more precise.
Thanks for the review. You can adjust the heads up display. You can also adjust the engine sound....even though it’s artificially infused. Have you tried that? Personally, I like the previous model better. Love my 2020 Gennie, especially driving in Korea. Agree with you about the new rear view. Not so great.
I think she is talking about the HUD's limited adjustment level :-)
I LOVE that it is quiet!
Even in Sport+ mode 🤣
@@MotorgraphWorld LOL, yes! I am not a fan of fake sounds pumped through the stereo and prefer a refined performance.
I found this to be very informative, you touched up on points that are important for me to know about a car. Great job overall. 👍🏻
Really like this car. I do agree with her views on the back end and interior. Luckily the front is so good that it makes up for that.
That is one beautiful car! Genesis is doing a great job with their evolution!
Yay, Mari is back. I agree. I think interior design-wise, G80=GV80>GV70>G70
5 designers exploded in the interior? The same way Santa’s testicles explode all over Starbucks every Christmas?
Like the G70 a lot!...I agree that Genesis was wanting a more luxury tune to the drivetrain/suspension as opposed to a sporty dynamic. But I'm fine with that & the vehicle handles very well as you stated so that's enough for me. I disagree with u on the interior layout, the gauges, the materials I like very much. Thanks for your observations & this review.
Thanks for watching!
You can adjust the engine sound in the settings😂 It roars in the background, and what's I love about it. It's not a Mustang, to be loud. It's a luxury car. An extra thumbs up for the excellent English.
Good review. What type of car does the reviewer have? At 9:10 she compares the G70 to her car. I think she offers the opinion of an enthusiast who wants more emphasis on sport over absolute refinement. I have no issues with a car being quiet. Especially for long trips, quiet and comfortable works best.
Mercedes-AMG GLA45 4MATIC+
@@MotorgraphWorld AMG. OK, everything makes sense now! Thank you.
@@benjaminsmith2287 Thank you for watching!
She mentions she can't see the HUD, heads up display because she is small. The display is completely adjustable up and down and even side to side. You can even change the color. She wants a louder engine sound in the 3.3. This can also be enhanced via the settings. Perhaps a reviewer should spend some time with the car, play with the settings or even open the users manual prior to reviewing live. I have one and it's awesome.
I'm BIG on value for money and the Genesis brand give you tons of that plus reliability. I'd buy this hands down over a German or NA brand any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Finally a review that's unbiased. Great review video overall
Great face, excellent style. The car looks good too.
Drove the 2.0T Manual yesterday... it's LOVELY
Great ! We can't get the manual in USA, but supposedly Canada has it.
Excellent review. Thank you Mari.
Mari is back..yippee!!!
I liked the video. I especially liked that you were brutally honest. The car is nice but it does not exceed expectations in certain areas. I will have to test drive it to make a final decision, but it looks great
Thanks!
I like. And I like the quiet aspect of the ride. But I'm an older guy so not into the roar of the engine at this point.
looks much better than the 2021 and 2020 models
The first female who knows a lot about cars, i would marry her! She knows a lot!!! Good points! Very straightforward
Love the review Mari!!.. great job and thank you!
Thank you for watching!
Looks exactly like a luxury version of the stinger should've made it stand out more than its sibling.
Mari, makes any car looks better. One beautiful woman, I completely forgot she is doing a car review.
agree on rear trunk design ,looks awkward and interior coherent ,notice the glovebox color. the G70 seem to have identity problem trying to be all rounder and ending scoring low in each segment...Mari was not happy with the it and that was obvious how she handled the road pitfalls :)
Beautiful car but I wonder why they didn’t add the frameless auto dimming rear view mirror or add ambient lighting :/
Yeah, the little things like that horrible rear view mirror reminds us that the G70 was Genesis's first attempt and parts sharing with Hyundai are still evident. However, their new models (GV70, G80 and GV80) are much better in that regard so I believe the next-gen G70 will be quite amazing
Yes, wait for the next gen G70. This is just a refresh to give it the overall look of the new models. The next gen should definitely bring it up to par with the rest of their lineup in regards to the technology and materials.
It’s a facelift. That usually comes with a refresh
pretty cool seeing so many hyundais and kias on the road during the driving segment
well, she IS driving in Korea... in case you didn't know... LOL... when I was back there about 9 years ago or so, there were still predominantly Korean cars on the road, with most imports(well, non-Korean) I could find on the streets of Gangnam or more wealthier neighborhood. not sure about now though.
Great review!
I'm in love with the G70 oh my
Doubt Genesis will let u review again. Hope I am wrong. Brutally honest review and brilliantly done.
You are the most beautiful and honest car reviewer. You are just awesome.
Was really hoping the 2022 Stinger was going to have an all digital gauge cluster like this but it doesn't appear to be the case based on the vids I've seen so far.
Stinger needs it I’m still looking for an aftermarket one myself like come on Kia smh lol
Mari, I like your honest approach to the review of this car. I love Genesis cars and understand your view of it not being as rugged as German cars. But I don't think Genesis is trying to be like them. They are trying to be unique to themselves and I like that. To each their own is what I say. Every car made out there isn't for everyone. I have driven BMW's and Mercedes Benz vehicles before but I like the approach that Genesis is going with. They are softer than the Germans. If Genesis were making sport sedans or sports cars, then they would need to be rugged.
Really like that color combination 😃
The old exterior looks better, aside from the boomerang-shaped side vent. The quad headlamps limit the design choices of how they look.
Agreed. I have a 2020 and I just think it looks better.
You should’ve checked the engine sound volume in settings. G70 has that option
Dude this is the best model to wear the new face and boot
I love that there was a random Chevy impala in Korea
Chevys are pretty common in Korea
Overall looks good BUT! Had to be more square designed in exhaust tips, grill, and headlights. Looks like they jut slapped Camry SE from bumper and reshaped Genesis middle into it. Looks good but could have been great. Impressed with noise isolation in a cabin.
im speachless....its so beautiful
Great Review
Looks nice, if you can ever see one in the usa outside of the top 5 cities. I'm not even sure where to buy one in my city.
Looks really refined!
Kia and Hyundai are making a lot of really awesome cars, I think this is a very handsome car, inside and out. Impressive. The only thing that was a bit odd (for me) was the side front vent behind the front wheel, it is only partially open and looks as though is could be easily broken in a car wash? Other wise it looks great, well done Hyundai/Genesis/Kia. Kia Kaha from Aotearoa.
Love your review....just subscribed!!!
This car is so cool looking 👍
what a pleasant voice. great speaker...
The amount of sarcasm in this video haha
Tbh, I think this car would’ve fit much better if it’s a sporty 2 door coupe.
Can't agree more!
Hyundai is coming for everyone!
Mari, you're a total bombshell.
Why do I see Camry in that side profile. Overall I like the pre facelift a little better
2:55 you can adjust head up display height in vehicle setting .. I hope this helps everyone
absolutely opt for the package with LSD. Very fun to drift around corners; significantly more sporty
I agree regarding the rear end.
2022 Stinger GT 3.3 review Please!!!!
Aw man I agree with her on the rear view. I liked the older models cause it looked more like it was from GTAV :(
I kid you not I loved this car primarily because it looked straight out of GTAV
oops she meant with the trunk area
Very well done, great review. Thanks for sharing!
