I like these models, I take them then I retextured them it takes the pain out of making facial shapes myself and I can make a more original looking character using my own skins and paintings.

I'm still trying to work out how to get my facial expressions to actually work at all, but I'll work it out lol. Your facial expressions on here are amazing!!! I hope I can get to that point! :) Also! I don't know if anyone has said it yet but your Avatar is in "A" pose (with arms slightly raised) which is why you're getting those warnings. If when you copy your Avatar link into a new tab, before downloading it, put "?pose=T" after ".glb" in the address bar, you'll get a "T" Pose Avatar (with arms straight out to each side). Then it'll just load into editor with it's arms by it's side and not raise any warnings. ^_^ (not that it seems to affect it in any way) Hope that helps someone lol
I appreciate the tip! It helps with not getting errors on Animaze Editor, but the avatar itself doesn't work on Animaze (just like the A pose doesn't work either). The face doesn't track, the head twitches and looks up constantly, the mouth doesn't move at all with voice inputs. I've been trying to make this work for a couple weeks. Do you have any solutions for this...?

I think you skip one step. After you enter Hub, you need to click Animaze apps to which the avatar will connect. It will proceed your avatar to compactible with Animaze. And You will not get T pose error.
That could work, but according to their instructions that is not supposed to be needed. They did reach out to me and said that they have another model from this website animaze.readyplayer.me This model can use animations but its arms are again stuck straight down. I showed this to them and said it would be nice if the arms resting pose was something that could be adjusted in Animaze itself. They said they would pass it on, so hopefully one day instead of everyone learning Blender which can be difficult. It can just be done inside the program Animaze itself.

The model works fine but the old texture is so blurry that sombody made it for me but didin`t explain how to adjust it in editor. Now this texrure looks ether upside down or with some offset.
Hi, I actually don't use the Animaze Editor and only use Animaze itself to make changes to colors of my textures. They are png images which maybe why they are kind of lower in quality which I have noticed. I have a video explaining that if you want. Otherwise I am unsure how to make them a higher quality to how to use Animaze Editor. Animaze has a discord I am sure they would be able to answer your questions on how to get this working better. Sorry for the late reply this one got lost in a few from a few weeks ago! I know that you can use a bunch of model types with Animaze. They do have some on steam that you can use in the program.

Are you using a phone or webcam? If you are using webcam you may need to have more light on your face so the program can pick up you movements. If that is not working you can go and make/download your avatar from alsoanimaze.readyplayer.me, instead of readyplayer.me.

What I am looking for is an Avatar that "resembles" me, but in Cartoon or Anime style. I can do it with Snap Camera, but that program tends to fade in and out, ie: my real face shows at random times.
I think I mentioned it in the video but if I did not, you can use a photo of yourself on the Ready Player Me website and it will generate an avatar that looks like you.
Is you camera set up and calibrated correctly? Sometimes I find closing Animaze and restarting it can help after making certain changes. If you use a phone you also have to make sure the phone app is updated.

I believe you will get access to more backgrounds, characters, emotes, and props but I am not sure about clothing. For the Ready Player Me Models they are made separate from Animaze so they have clothing options on the Ready Player Me site.
The devs did say they were working on a mac version but I have not heard anything about it for a while. I recommend asking them on Twitter or in their discord if that is still a plan for the future.

I also chose the same sweater your avatar is wearing but I am getting stuck on how to recolour it. I tried just uploading a colour which kind of works, but the necklace also gets coloured so clearly I am doing it wrong! I do have photoshop if that helps at all. I'd really appreciate your help with this if possible!
Hey, so I used photoshop and just took the image for the sweater and recoloured everything thing except the necklace. That’s why it stayed the same Colour and did not change with the recoloring. I just made the Colour I painted on an overlay so the Color’s were not too harsh. Hope this helped out. 🙂
You can try turning on Increase Process Priority in the general settings in Animaze. If that is not working you can check out their discord and ask for more help there.
I create my avatar in Ready Player me, but in Animaze Facering it doesn´t move his lips, body and eyes yes, but not the lips. When I choose a Avatar in Facerig their mouth moves. What did I wrong?

Hi, is there a way I can fix animaze not picking up my lip movement? the face is moving properly, but not any of my facial expressions, (eyebrows raising, lip moving, etc.)
This happens to me sometimes when changing my avatar for outfit changes. I am not sure why but no updates have addressed this issues. I normally just make my changes then restart the program. You just look in the folder Animaze made with your model and the images for wrap/texture. You can drag the image into photoshop and it will automatically correctly size. Then add a layer over top that is a bit transparent and change the Color of that box. I will be making a video on it soon we have had some construction in my house so recording has been very minimal while it’s been going on for a few weeks now.
I think it should be possible as you are able to make models in other software's like Blender and import them in. Here is the page on Animaze site about animations: www.animaze.us/manual/3davatar/3danimations I am still pretty new to animating and VTubing in general but I am sure it is possible. I think based on the site the animations have to be attached to the model itself. Again I am a total noob so best option to get the right info would be to check the website and ask Animaze themselves on Discord. I really hope this helped you out sorry I did not have an outright answer. I do know the ready player me models can be put into blender and exported as mov files, that is how I made my beginning and end screens for live streams. I used Mixamo to get free animation files and then put them back into blender but not directly into Animaze. I was going to do a video about that as well incase people wanted to do something like that themselves.

Hi Tatiana! I just discovered your channel last week and I just wanted to say I LOVE IT! I'm a RUclipsr as well and I've been making tutorials for animation for years and I've kind of fallen off it because I wanted to make a really good interactive avatar but haven't quite gotten it down yet. I've made a couple of really good 2D characters and have used Adobe Character Animator but when I saw your channel I thought...."That's exactly the style I want to do!" But I have a couple of questions. One, can you edit your ready player me character in blender? I like the model but I want to tweak it to look more like me. Is that possible? And two, I'm already guessing your answer will be "Yeah, of course!" but is an Iphone with live face going to get me the absolute best results with capturing? You are literally the ONLY person I've seen on RUclips that has such a high quality of caputure and expression. I know you tweaked a lot of the settings but man, you're facial expression and mouth movement are second to none! I don't have an iphone but i'm going to check out if I can get one or a new ipad with live face and a good lighting set up this weekend. Anyway, I'm rambling now....just wanted to say I love your channel, I love your vibe and I'm extemley impressed with you all around! So dope!!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! First, yes you can put the models into Blender, I actually did that to make my beginning and end screens on my live streams. Second, yes any iPhone model from the iPhone X up will have the best facial tracking, I recently tried to get my sister set up but with rig but she does not have an iPhone, we tried her android and it was a mess and barely caught her expressions unfortunately. The facial tracking took a long time of trial and error to get how I wanted it and I am picky about how it looks. I still think it could use some work but am happy with the overall results. I find closing Animaze and restarting it can help after making certain changes. I known if I change the colors of my cloths this happens and I have to restart Animaze and the reconnect my camera/phone. If you use a phone you also have to make sure the phone app is updated.
Hhmmm some others have commented on having this issue this week since the update Animaze had. Try making and downloading the avatar from animaze.readyplayer.me, instead of readyplayer.me. Let me know if that works, if it does not you should go to Animaze discord and see if they can help with what exactly is going wrong. Also because you are using a webcam it wont be the exact same result as using an iPhone because the camera technology is different. You may need more lighting on your face for better results or to be properly detected.
Was wondering if you found out how to move the t posed arms. I also ran into a problem where my ui menu on ready me is really small it was normal and it switched on me out of no where and cannot figure out how to open it more now. Everything is so small on the left
I never found out how to adjust them to a more natural standing position, but there was an update so the arms can be moved with a controller (Xbox, PlayStation, ect) for arm movement. I also had this issue with the small text, I resized the window in settings and eventually it fixed itself. I do find though that the text is a bit small still but I can still read it.

Yes Animaze does need to run in the background for your model to move and continue to animate, I usually minimized the program and leave it running. There is an option to make Animaze a priority to have the program not weigh down games and things. I did this but honestly for some games I have issues with both the game and running Animaze while OBS records everything. One game I have absolutely been struggling with running everything with is Fortnite x Lego. I was going to make a video covering it, but I can't get everything to run while the game is smoothly. Generally though I have not had this issue with other games. 😅 How to Run Animaze with priority: Settings > General > Click Increase Process Priority Tab On
Once I bundle, and then goto animaze to put the avater in there, it gives me a message about not being in T-pose and the mouth doesn't move when talking otherwise the head moves, the eyes etc. is there somthing i did wrong even though i followed everything she did in the video?

I feel that VMagicmirror takes up less of my CPU when running, might be a little better/easier for me? I'm have so many troubles trying to get a decent avatar I like so I can start streaming my game.
I am unfortunately unfamiliar with how to do that, I was thinking Blender 3d could probably do it but I am not sure how to go about that process. You may be able to reach out to Ready Player Me directly and see if they know a solution for transferring their models to vrm.
As far as I know we cant but if you put the model into a program like Blender as an example, I am sure you could make your won hair an add it that way.
Hey, did you try the new site for the models? It’s in the description, that could be the problem. It is also possible that there is not be enough light on your face for the program to pick up your facial expressions.
@@elkobra yes if you want the best tracking available iPhone provides the best because of the front camera. It is the best camera to track facial expression. You can use a webcam but unfortunately the results wont be the same as an iPhone. I don't really prefer iPhone but because of the camera being so good I ended up getting one with my phone plan.
You will have to reach out to Animaze themselves. They did last year say support is coming to max but I have not heard anything about that since. They have social media outlets you can reach out too but I think discord will be the fastest.

My avatar dose not move the lips or any facial experience and I don’t know what to do ??

I also chose the same sweater your avatar is wearing but I am getting stuck on how to recolour it. I tried just uploading a colour which kind of works, but the necklace also gets coloured so clearly I am doing it wrong! I do have photoshop if that helps at all.

Hey, so I used photoshop and just took the image for the sweater and recoloured everything thing except the necklace. That’s why it stayed the same Colour and did not change with the recoloring. I just made the Colour I painted on an overlay so the Color’s were not too harsh.

You can try turning on Increase Process Priority in the general settings in Animaze. If that is not working you can check out their discord and ask for more help there.
I create my avatar in Ready Player me, but in Animaze Facering it doesn´t move his lips, body and eyes yes, but not the lips. When I choose a Avatar in Facerig their mouth moves.
What did I wrong?
In the pinned comment I mentioned that you need to download the newer version of the model from the site l listed as the older site is outdated: animaze.readyplayer.me/en/avatar
If the issues still persists after you load that model in, I recommend reaching out to Animaze directly through discord as it may be something else causing issues at that point.

Hi, is there a way I can fix animaze not picking up my lip movement? the face is moving properly, but not any of my facial expressions, (eyebrows raising, lip moving, etc.)
This happens to me sometimes when changing my avatar for outfit changes. I am not sure why but no updates have addressed this issues. I normally just make my changes then restart the program. How do I export the textures to customize them and then reapply? I'm good with Photoshop but don't know how to do that part.
You just look in the folder Animaze made with your model and the images for wrap/texture. You can drag the image into photoshop and it will automatically correctly size. Then add a layer over top that is a bit transparent and change the Color of that box. I will be making a video on it soon we have had some construction in my house so recording has been very minimal while it’s been going on for a few weeks now.

I think it should be possible as you are able to make models in other software's like Blender and import them in. Here is the page on Animaze site about animations: www.animaze.us/manual/3davatar/3danimations
I am still pretty new to animating and VTubing in general but I am sure it is possible. I think based on the site the animations have to be attached to the model itself. Again I am a total noob so best option to get the right info would be to check the website and ask Animaze themselves on Discord. I really hope this helped you out sorry I did not have an outright answer.
I do know the ready player me models can be put into blender and exported as mov files, that is how I made my beginning and end screens for live streams. I used Mixamo to get free animation files and then put them back into blender but not directly into Animaze. I was going to do a video about that as well incase people wanted to do something like that themselves.

Hi Tatiana! I just discovered your channel last week and I just wanted to say I LOVE IT! I'm a RUclipsr as well and I've been making tutorials for animation for years and I've kind of fallen off it because I wanted to make a really good interactive avatar but haven't quite gotten it down yet. I've made a couple of really good 2D characters and have used Adobe Character Animator but when I saw your channel I thought...."That's exactly the style I want to do!" But I have a couple of questions. One, can you edit your ready player me character in blender? I like the model but I want to tweak it to look more like me. Is that possible? And two, I'm already guessing your answer will be "Yeah, of course!" but is an Iphone with live face going to get me the absolute best results with capturing? You are literally the ONLY person I've seen on RUclips that has such a high quality of caputure and expression. I know you tweaked a lot of the settings but man, you're facial expression and mouth movement are second to none! I don't have an iphone but i'm going to check out if I can get one or a new ipad with live face and a good lighting set up this weekend. Anyway, I'm rambling now....just wanted to say I love your channel, I love your vibe and I'm extemley impressed with you all around! So dope!!!!

First, yes you can put the models into Blender, I actually did that to make my beginning and end screens on my live streams.
Second, yes any iPhone model from the iPhone X up will have the best facial tracking, I recently tried to get my sister set up but with rig but she does not have an iPhone, we tried her android and it was a mess and barely caught her expressions unfortunately.
The facial tracking took a long time of trial and error to get how I wanted it and I am picky about how it looks. I still think it could use some work but am happy with the overall results. Thanks again for you nice comments, I am happy the video helped you out and I hope everything goes well with making and setting up your 3D model!

I find closing Animaze and restarting it can help after making certain changes. I known if I change the colors of my cloths this happens and I have to restart Animaze and the reconnect my camera/phone. If you use a phone you also have to make sure the phone app is updated.

Hhmmm some others have commented on having this issue this week since the update Animaze had. Try making and downloading the avatar from animaze.readyplayer.me, instead of readyplayer.me. Let me know if that works, if it does not you should go to Animaze discord and see if they can help with what exactly is going wrong.
Also because you are using a webcam it wont be the exact same result as using an iPhone because the camera technology is different. You may need more lighting on your face for better results or to be properly detected.

Was wondering if you found out how to move the t posed arms. I also ran into a problem where my ui menu on ready me is really small it was normal and it switched on me out of no where and cannot figure out how to open it more now. Everything is so small on the left
I never found out how to adjust them to a more natural standing position, but there was an update so the arms can be moved with a controller (Xbox, PlayStation, ect) for arm movement. I also had this issue with the small text, I resized the window in settings and eventually it fixed itself. I do find though that the text is a bit small still but I can still read it.

Do you have to have animaze running all the time in the background?
Yes Animaze does need to run in the background for your model to move and continue to animate, I usually minimized the program and leave it running. There is an option to make Animaze a priority to have the program not weigh down games and things. I did this but honestly for some games I have issues with both the game and running Animaze while OBS records everything. One game I have absolutely been struggling with running everything with is Fortnite x Lego. I was going to make a video covering it, but I can't get everything to run while the game is smoothly. Generally though I have not had this issue with other games. 😅

I reached out to the devs after a lot of people noticed a few months back that the older site model was no longer working and coming up with similar errors to the ones you mentioned. If the issues still persists after you load that model in, I recommend reaching out to Animaze directly through discord as it may be something else causing issues at that point.

@@xThatAwkwardGamer Is there any type of way to convert the .avatar file into a .VRM file without using unity? so I can use VMagicmirror program instead? I feel that VMagicmirror takes up less of my CPU when running, might be a little better/easier for me? I'm have so many troubles trying to get a decent avatar I like so I can start streaming my game.
I am unfortunately unfamiliar with how to do that, I was thinking Blender 3d could probably do it but I am not sure how to go about that process. You may be able to reach out to Ready Player Me directly and see if they know a solution for transferring their models to vrm.

As far as I know there is not but you can use Animaze directly they have some premade avatars you can use.

As far as I know we cant but if you put the model into a program like Blender as an example, I am sure you could make your won hair an add it that way.

Hey, did you try the new site for the models? It’s in the description, that could be the problem. It is also possible that there is not be enough light on your face for the program to pick up your facial expressions.

@@elkobra yes if you want the best tracking available iPhone provides the best because of the front camera. It is the best camera to track facial expression. You can use a webcam but unfortunately the results wont be the same as an iPhone. I don't really prefer iPhone but because of the camera being so good I ended up getting one with my phone plan.

You will have to reach out to Animaze themselves. They did last year say support is coming to max but I have not heard anything about that since. They have social media outlets you can reach out too but I think discord will be the fastest.
