I was previously sent from Western Europe to teach at a Korean university.
All Korean technology comes from foreign countries. Especially a lot of technology comes from Japan. Some technology was purchased from Japan, while others were stolen without paying royalties.
Although it is difficult for Westerners to understand, Korean textbooks and reference books are written in Japanese technical terms in all fields. Koreans read Japanese terms in a Korean way and use them as they are.
Thus, medicine, engineering, science, physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, sociology, economics, literature, agriculture, music, etc. cannot be taught in Korea without Japanese.
In this way, Koreans cannot live in modern society without using Japanese in their daily lives.

Is this some kind of a joke? Korea never built any worthy subs. S. Korea opened the submarine's black box that Germany provided and couldn't put it back. Just like they opened black boxes from the U.S. S. Korea couldn't even properly make the nuts and bolts for the submarine licensed by the German's. S. Korea is a joke by all means.
