That Retro Beast goes for around $100 now, it's crazy. I know a ton of people had their orders cancelled at Gamestop for Beast, myself included, defiantly would like to get a Mafex version.
Yeah I ended up canceling mine because ghost rider and beast were taking way longer than all the other places. I think i ended up getting Beast in a lot or something.
I think Black Cat would be much more popular than you think she will. Most collectors like a sexy figure thrown in here and there. I mean loosecollecter is selling a ton of lady deaths and vampirella,etc. So there's a market for those types of figures that is rather large,myself included.
I think with Legends there are a few times where I prefer the marvel legend over mafex because the price difference doesn’t make up for how good the figures are but with dc everything mafex does is the best.
Depends on what comic run they might do in order to get wonder woman..that's why superman got figures other than him being abit more popular than her he was in batman hush and the dark knight returns so that's why mafex tends to make super man or any character from the lines they are making like batman hush,tdkr,knightfall,etc But yeah it'll take awhile to get some more DC heros like the flash,wonder woman,green lanturn,aqua man,etc
That would be cool and it's more likely for them to make them if they have the license but idk they did make a joker and batman figure from an animated show but mafex mostly focuses on their comic figures and even then it takes a while to get figures announced or given prototypes.
I’m fairly new to MAFEX. Is there a reason why they only release 2 figures per month? I’m excited for Tim Drake Robin but my wishlist for DC would be The Flash. I’m hoping Beast and Nightcrawler are true because it would be smart to hitch on the X-Men ‘97 hype train but my wishlist would be Dr. Doom.
Oh Dr doom would be cool. They do fewer figures, I assume, because they are more premium. Mezco does the same. I think it also might be do to folks not being able to afford having tons of more expensive figures coming out. They also only do about 1 per character. Some get multiple looks like Spider-Man and Wolverine but if they do nightcrawler they probably will never do another version.
@@thestrongcollectors MAFEX figures do indeed feel premium so I do not mind them taking their time if it means consistent quality. I have Black Hush Batman, Steel, Nightwing, Azrael Batman, Poison Ivy and Huntress. But I have some preorders and I’m backtracking the older released figures. Happy collecting!
I think the point of it is so that they feel more premium while also giving them more time to work on individual figures rather than releasing like an entire wave of 6 figures. Lets them pinpoint any QC issues etc
Since Mafex refuses to do any DC characters that are not Batman or Superman related, Green Arrow would be the version from Dark Knight Returns. Which is the furthest thing from a classic Green Arrow. ☹️
Some of these look nice, but I'm not a big fan of import figures, basically they are smaller than Legends & super expensive in London. Did you get the Mythic Legions Aubis & friend. Did you like the reveal of the new Hulk Buster. 😊
Jordan and I both got the Hulkbuster and I'm super excited to get a big figure like that. And yes I just got my Egyptian gods today. Haven't opened them yet though

Iceman would have to be a deluxe to be done right. He NEEDS accessories. Hasbro has done him dirty every single time. If Mafex does it they need to go overboard, which they aren't likely to do. I would find it very likely Beast, Colossus and Iceman were coming though. WIth Beast Blue Team is done. With Colossus and Icemen they're only missing Archangel and Bishop for Gold.
Colossus has me curious. Been rocking the Diamond Select one for a good while. Good figure but would like to see an update. Nighcrawler and Archangel for sure. Gimme Gimmie. If Bobby comes out well...gimmie as well. TBH I would like to see Amazing Yamaguchi tackle some of these rumored upcoming figures especially Nightcrawler. I'd think they would kill it. We shall see. Their latest Marvel release was Agent Venom. Apparently very popular. Before that comic Thor, Moon Knight, Black Panther, Spidey (v1 and v2 and Iron Spider in Red and Gold and the Aaron Davis Black and Gold), Cap America etc. etc. They did release a few X-Men (Cable, Wolverine, Psylocke, Gambit, Deadpool v1 and v2, Magneto) but they stopped. Hopefully with X-Men 97 being popular they'll release some more. Comic Winter Soldier is due out in June. On the DC side a 1.5 Joker just recently was announced and up for pre-order. Arkham Batman is coming out I believe this year w/ a soft goods cape. Their sculpted articulated capes...eh. Supergirl was also announced. Flash and Reverse Flash were released earlier this year. Pretty good imo. Catwoman was their most recent DC release I think. Not bad at all. She thick 😁 . Before that their was Harley Quinn, Arkham Knight / Red Hood (one of my favs from them), Wonder Woman, Superman (two variants), and Deathstroke which I believe on legendary status with Amazing Yamaguchi collectors. REALLY hard to fine a genuine of him under 200 usd if that these days. I'd love for them to tackle a Daredevil, Rogue, or a Colossus. Remember to take them with a grain of salt. This was heard it from a guy who heard of from another guy and pretty sure there was at least one more after that. If even half of them are true though I’ll be pumped.
Coming back to this video when is hulk coming out cause aren’t they at SDCC? And why isn’t Mezco revealed anything at SDCC and why hasn’t Bandai revealed anything at SDCC?? So if mafex and those companies I’m assuming are gonna reveal more stuff but not at SDCC when are they gonna do that? Cause I want my mafex hulk so bad 😢
Im going to make an update video but im pretty sure mafex isn’t at sdcc but they did have some reveals earlier this week. The biggest ones imo were jubilee, iceman and doomsday.
Green arrow is probably from the dark knight story line since we got the arrow. They usually give hints like that. You can fill in the blanks and figure which of these are promising or not based on what we have so far.
ik this is a bit off topic lol but apparently the rock that the marvel legends team teased in the last live stream has apparently been cracked… supposedly it’s the sentinels rock from the xmen arcade video game, they throw rocks exactly like the ones shown in the game and as well they stand at about 10 inches tall so if they are doing a 85 years sentinel then it possibly could be 10-13 inches.🔥🔥
Yeah I think people had guessed that right from the start in the FB groups. I really hope that’s what it ends up being. At the same time my wallet is already hurting because we’ve got so many good things on preorder.

This is pretty much exactly what I wanted to hear and I hope it's true. Nightcrawler, Beast, and Iceman have always been my fav, and I've been disappointed that there aren't and higher end figures of them
I think legends has put out some great figures for beast and nightcrawler but I get what you mean it would be cool to have some really nice figures of them.
If the leaks are true then I'd be happy with all of them. I only collect marvel 1/12 scale figures so I have a separate display for legends, mafex, mezco, and other brands so having multiple versions of characters from different brands is good for me personally.
I like these. I saw a comment recently saying they didn’t like having the same figure from different companies and I think it can make a lot of sense. Everyone has their own way of collecting and I love the variety of each way.

I only collect 1/12 scale marvel figures so it makes sense for me while others collect different IPs and brands so only having the best figure representation of a character makes sense. Green Arrow is a very random choice. Mafex has been following storylines from comics. That is why I think it will be a Dark Knight Returns one armed Green Arrow.
I just got Phoenix, who is my first Mafex. She is pretty awesome and fits in with my Claremont Legends team very well. If Mafex were to do the others that go with her (Nightcrawler, Colossus, Wolverine, Cyclops, Banshee, and Storm), I would totally be down for them. However, why would they go for the Jim Lee designs of Nightcrawler and Colossus when their Phoenix is based on the Byrne art? That confuses me. I hope the leak is incorrect on which version they are doing. I wonder what is taking so long for them to announce a Dark Phoenix though. Outside of a new chest and maybe a new head, she's practically done. If they do a new version of Spider-Man, I would be down for him as long as he is based on Romita Sr's art. Now I would probably be down for a Mafex Flash line if they went with the classic versions of Flash's rogues.
I feel like “Jim Lee” xmen is used kind of loosely. It’s just that style of xmen but not necessarily his art. I think that and the animated looks are used interchangeably. Most folks won’t care if a belt is from a different artist or a mask is slightly different. I bet we’ll see a dark phoenix soon but when they only make like 5 marvel characters per year it might not be this year or next. They gotta let it breathe a little.

I bought Phoenix on a whim because she looks like she came right oout of the comics whereas the new Hasbro one looks like MCU Wanda cosplaying as Phoenix. If they don't want to do the Byrne/Cockrum versions of the other six, that's fine, as that saves me about $600-700, but it would be cool.
For mafex so far I've only got DC and no doubles. I've got Steel, Az Bat, Black Hush Batman, Cyborg Superman, and Nightwing so far. Then Super Boy and Eradicator on preorder.

A mafex black cat is the dream since I’ve been wanting either revo or mafex to do her. And if they do do this 2.0 spidy that he’d be bulkier, since the original one is kinda slim
I'd go for Mafex Beast IF the articulations great. The retro one is one of the best figures from Marvel Legends and it fits perfectly with the Mafex lineup. Archangel and Colossus will be expensive as hell so I think I'll just wait for the reviews first. Rogue Mafex reveal was expected but somehow felt bland because they used the same facial features from Mafex Psylocke. At least the jacket's leather.
I agree the mafex rogue didn’t knock my socks off which is ok. I don’t want to want everything. I’ll get the ones that I think look amazing and pass on the others. I’m not really trying to complete a marvel team with mafex

True. although I don't think he'd really fit in with the superman stories they're making right now. I'd expect the Damian to be from his earlier appearances.
Mafex also did the mcu Hulkbuster which is the largest piece they’ve done with clearly all 100% new sculpting. They are definitely not afraid to make larger unique sculpted characters. Bane should be larger and I’m sure a hulk would have to be coming sooner or later. A lot of people or just shutting down the idea of mafex doing larger characters but there’s no way they don’t finish off the Jim Lee team or a hulk so I hope we see these sooner rather than later.
I do wish they would do more bigger figures. One is nice to look back on but maybe 1 per year would be fun. Add another level of anticipation to what it could be.
If mafex can make hulk that can do a thunder clap and re release it as a comic hulk and other HULK'S and hulk related characters! In my a opinion i want 2008 hulk but i really want 2003 hulk... Doubt that would happen unless a multiverse hulk film happens. Though it would probably be age of ultron hulk or hulk from the bed scene in Ragnarok. I feel like mafex wouldn't want to compete with shf in the avengers assemble lineup bc shf did so well, Infinity war bc shf did so well, and i don't think they would do gladiator hulk bc mezco did it, hasbro did twice, select did it, shf did it, so i feel like they have a shot with age of ultron hulk bc hasbro has ball hips on there age of ultron HULK'S x2 and shf failed there lineup for the movie... Idk really what do you think?
The only thing I worry about with a mafex hulk would be will it be big enough? All mafex figures tend to be a little smaller than the legends versions.

Ghost rider without a bike would suck, but Id probably rather no bike at all than for them to give us a statue bike. We probably won't see this full list until 2030 lol. Hopefully some of them skip the line. Would love a black cat.
More than leaks, this is a wishlist. There is no official source or leak. Most of the figures on the 'leaked' list are from lines that are already being released, so it makes sense for Mafex to complete them.

Thanks for your efforts on this one. Sticking with just the Marvel characters, Mafex has quite a release schedule (if these leaks come true). If the Hulk comes with butterfly joints that allows it to thunderclap then it is time I update my 80th Anniversary Hulk. One thing that crossed my mind is what if Mafex makes the non-furry variant of Beast? Oh, now that would be something I would be all over. Depending on what accessories come with Ice-Man I might be in the market for that as well. I am quite pleased with my Marvel Select however it doesn't scale well. Marvel Select also beat Mafex to the punch with Archangel as well. I would love for Mafex to make an Electra to go with the Mafex DD coming out later this year.
So Mafex will do a DKR Mutant Leader that 6 people will buy, but they have no plans for Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, etc??? I do not understand this company. They will *never* release any comic DC figures that aren’t directly tied to Batman or Superman. 😡
Female mafex characters look great, but they gotta solve the hair issue. Lack of articulation hurts the head movement. Plus they have 3 of the same hair molds.

Im sticking with marvel select for the few characters i need to complete my marvel shelves with a few very cherry picked legends . I dont think mafex are really worth $80 + compared with other figures in that range . I rather buy 2 mythic legions for the price of one mafex and get more accessories .
I really hope the green arrow and or Superman blue/red come to fruition. I really only collect the DC side of Mafex so it could open the door to a new JLA or even just refusal JL line of figures and we’d finally get lanterns or flash 😭🙏 and ofc I’d love any robin that isn’t the just carrie kelly
Knowing Mafex this leaks if accurate might be 3 to 4 years away before we ever see the pre-order and even longer to see on hand…. By then ML might release a revise version or two of each, knowing my stupid ass I might still get the x-men, but that needs so much discipline and patience from me

@@thestrongcollectors nah it takes quite a while to sell out these preorders. Only if it's a super popular character that's an anticipated rerelease will it sell out fast. It never hurts to preorder because you can cancel them at anytime and with mafex if it's a year long wait that's a new figure for sure but if it goes up for po and is coming really soon it's probably a reissue.
The Jim Lee x-men are the only made. I care about, especially Iceman. There is no decent iceman figure on the market. Especially if he gets his 90’s (non ice) outfit. But my concern is, if this rogue figure isn’t due out until April 2025…when the hell will we get colossus?
I would be expecting 5 years to see this list make it to your hand. Maybe even to preorder and not in hand. They take a long time to put out this many figures.
Shadowcat X-Men/Excalibur that’s not incredibly tiny like marvel legends with her big curly hair, a maskless head sculpt and articulates in a way that befits her character style
I think that's the best version for them to do too. My favorite x men is the astonishing x men but Hasbro is doing them right now so I'm not too worried about paying extra for that team.
I don’t believe this list mainly because they are suggesting all new sculpting for a bunch of figures that don’t fit any of the current molds they ever used. Beast nightcrawler and colossus and hulk are way out of scope of Mafex’s history
@@gsuplex4859 you just have to look at this logically due to construction. These figures aren’t made out of thin air, some of these characters mentioned will require a lot of work with parts they likely will have to start from scratch. Its not practical to take on such risk all at once

Beast > I keep my retro card ML as a definitive Nightcrawler > Mafex all day everyday Iceman > Mafex (if good FX) Colossus > Lot of hope (will they make a Juggernaught on the new Hulk body? better be huge!) ... Black Cat > will wait for ML on the Black Widow buck...
Green Arrow needs to be classic version. A George Perez Satellite era JLA needs to be made! A classic Avengers Perez roster is a must as well. Classic comic based Hulk would be my preference over MCU Hulk. The Thing is 6ft tall, he's not big. Where's Doomsday? Make all the Superman returns characters but not the m as in villain in the story??

The team at Mafex is much smaller than those at Marvel Legends or Mezco. Mafex isn't even the main source of income for Medicom

Im going to make an update video but im pretty sure mafex isn’t at sdcc but they did have some reveals earlier this week. The biggest ones imo were jubilee, iceman and doomsday.

Green arrow is probably from the dark knight story line since we got the arrow. They usually give hints like that. You can fill in the blanks and figure which of these are promising or not based on what we have so far.

ik this is a bit off topic lol but apparently the rock that the marvel legends team teased in the last live stream has apparently been cracked… supposedly it’s the sentinels rock from the xmen arcade video game, they throw rocks exactly like the ones shown in the game and as well they stand at about 10 inches tall so if they are doing a 85 years sentinel then it possibly could be 10-13 inches.🔥🔥

This is pretty much exactly what I wanted to hear and I hope it's true. Nightcrawler, Beast, and Iceman have always been my fav, and I've been disappointed that there aren't and higher end figures of them
I think legends has put out some great figures for beast and nightcrawler but I get what you mean it would be cool to have some really nice figures of them.

If the leaks are true then I'd be happy with all of them. I only collect marvel 1/12 scale figures so I have a separate display for legends, mafex, mezco, and other brands so having multiple versions of characters from different brands is good for me personally.
I like these. I saw a comment recently saying they didn’t like having the same figure from different companies and I think it can make a lot of sense. Everyone has their own way of collecting and I love the variety of each way.

I only collect 1/12 scale marvel figures so it makes sense for me while others collect different IPs and brands so only having the best figure representation of a character makes sense. Green Arrow is a very random choice. Mafex has been following storylines from comics. That is why I think it will be a Dark Knight Returns one armed Green Arrow.
I don't know of many 1 arm action figures so that would be kind of cool.
I just got Phoenix, who is my first Mafex. She is pretty awesome and fits in with my Claremont Legends team very well. If Mafex were to do the others that go with her (Nightcrawler, Colossus, Wolverine, Cyclops, Banshee, and Storm), I would totally be down for them. However, why would they go for the Jim Lee designs of Nightcrawler and Colossus when their Phoenix is based on the Byrne art? That confuses me. I hope the leak is incorrect on which version they are doing. I wonder what is taking so long for them to announce a Dark Phoenix though. Outside of a new chest and maybe a new head, she's practically done.
If they do a new version of Spider-Man, I would be down for him as long as he is based on Romita Sr's art.
Now I would probably be down for a Mafex Flash line if they went with the classic versions of Flash's rogues.
I feel like “Jim Lee” xmen is used kind of loosely. It’s just that style of xmen but not necessarily his art. I think that and the animated looks are used interchangeably. Most folks won’t care if a belt is from a different artist or a mask is slightly different. I bet we’ll see a dark phoenix soon but when they only make like 5 marvel characters per year it might not be this year or next. They gotta let it breathe a little.
@@thestrongcollectors Is that really all they make? I'm completely new to the Mafex game. I bought Phoenix on a whim because she looks like she came right oout of the comics whereas the new Hasbro one looks like MCU Wanda cosplaying as Phoenix.
If they don't want to do the Byrne/Cockrum versions of the other six, that's fine, as that saves me about $600-700, but it would be cool.

For mafex so far I've only got DC and no doubles. I've got Steel, Az Bat, Black Hush Batman, Cyborg Superman, and Nightwing so far. Then Super Boy and Eradicator on preorder.

I'd go for Mafex Beast IF the articulations great. The retro one is one of the best figures from Marvel Legends and it fits perfectly with the Mafex lineup.
Archangel and Colossus will be expensive as hell so I think I'll just wait for the reviews first.
Rogue Mafex reveal was expected but somehow felt bland because they used the same facial features from Mafex Psylocke. At least the jacket's leather.

Mafex also did the mcu Hulkbuster which is the largest piece they’ve done with clearly all 100% new sculpting. They are definitely not afraid to make larger unique sculpted characters. Bane should be larger and I’m sure a hulk would have to be coming sooner or later. A lot of people or just shutting down the idea of mafex doing larger characters but there’s no way they don’t finish off the Jim Lee team or a hulk so I hope we see these sooner rather than later.
I do wish they would do more bigger figures. One is nice to look back on but maybe 1 per year would be fun. Add another level of anticipation to what it could be.
That 2.0 spidey could rlly be fye, I just hope they don't sell and that it has better paint apps.

If mafex can make hulk that can do a thunder clap and re release it as a comic hulk and other HULK'S and hulk related characters! In my a opinion i want 2008 hulk but i really want 2003 hulk... Doubt that would happen unless a multiverse hulk film happens. Though it would probably be age of ultron hulk or hulk from the bed scene in Ragnarok. I feel like mafex wouldn't want to compete with shf in the avengers assemble lineup bc shf did so well, Infinity war bc shf did so well, and i don't think they would do gladiator hulk bc mezco did it, hasbro did twice, select did it, shf did it, so i feel like they have a shot with age of ultron hulk bc hasbro has ball hips on there age of ultron HULK'S x2 and shf failed there lineup for the movie... The only thing I worry about with a mafex hulk would be will it be big enough? All mafex figures tend to be a little smaller than the legends versions.

More than leaks, this is a wishlist. There is no official source or leak. Most of the figures on the 'leaked' list are from lines that are already being released, so it makes sense for Mafex to complete them.
i've got my fingers crossed hard for some of these.
I would get a Nightcrawler for sure. Would be my number one choice and I agree, he needs all of the articulation they can give him.
I think they could do an amazing job. I like the legends one but mafex would be a step above.
Id guess that green arrow could be a DKR Oliver cause he was pretty prominent on that story and we already have THE arrow he shoots at superman

Thanks for your efforts on this one. Sticking with just the Marvel characters, Mafex has quite a release schedule (if these leaks come true). If the Hulk comes with butterfly joints that allows it to thunderclap then it is time I update my 80th Anniversary Hulk. One thing that crossed my mind is what if Mafex makes the non-furry variant of Beast? Oh, now that would be something I would be all over. Depending on what accessories come with Ice-Man I might be in the market for that as well. I am quite pleased with my Marvel Select however it doesn't scale well. Marvel Select also beat Mafex to the punch with Archangel as well. I would love for Mafex to make an Electra to go with the Mafex DD coming out later this year.
Elektra would be really cool. I might be tempted to get that even though I don’t have any other mafex ladies.

Female mafex characters look great, but they gotta solve the hair issue. Lack of articulation hurts the head movement. Plus they have 3 of the same hair molds.

Im sticking with marvel select for the few characters i need to complete my marvel shelves with a few very cherry picked legends . I dont think mafex are really worth $80 + compared with other figures in that range . I rather buy 2 mythic legions for the price of one mafex and get more accessories .

I think Mafex is normally a little smaller than Legends. it could be similar though. I think the main complaints about size come from Thor.

@@thestrongcollectors nah it takes quite a while to sell out these preorders. Only if it's a super popular character that's an anticipated rerelease will it sell out fast. It never hurts to preorder because you can cancel them at anytime and with mafex if it's a year long wait that's a new figure for sure but if it goes up for po and is coming really soon it's probably a reissue.

The Jim Lee x-men are the only made. I care about, especially Iceman. There is no decent iceman figure on the market. Especially if he gets his 90’s (non ice) outfit. But my concern is, if this rogue figure isn’t due out until April 2025…when the hell will we get colossus?

Shadowcat X-Men/Excalibur that’s not incredibly tiny like marvel legends with her big curly hair, a maskless head sculpt and articulates in a way that befits her character style
I think that's the best version for them to do too. My favorite x men is the astonishing x men but Hasbro is doing them right now so I'm not too worried about paying extra for that team.

@@gsuplex4859 you just have to look at this logically due to construction. These figures aren’t made out of thin air, some of these characters mentioned will require a lot of work with parts they likely will have to start from scratch. Its not practical to take on such risk all at once

Green Arrow needs to be classic version. A George Perez Satellite era JLA needs to be made! A classic Avengers Perez roster is a must as well. Classic comic based Hulk would be my preference over MCU Hulk. The Thing is 6ft tall, he's not big. Where's Doomsday? Make all the Superman returns characters but not the m as in villain in the story??
