i really believe that the time of SOTSOG was when noel wrote some of his most meaningful songs and some of his best songs lyrically. Noels one of the best (if not the best) songwriters of all time.
I'm 19 mate, been listening to Oasis for about a year now. And like you said they are like the sound track to my life! I can't leave the house without my Ipod or go driving without making sure I have an Oasis CD in my car. The music is like a drug for me XD
Ive listened to oasis for time but this past year it has really changed my life it sort of become my life ive never heard this song but man its spine tingling noel gallagher is such an inspiration amazing how one man and his guitar can captivate you and hold you there in the palm of his hand truely truely amazing what a legend. thank you.
listening to this on my 31st birthday, remembering back to when i first discovered this song at 19 and thinking how it's hitting harder with every year that passes.
I'm fourteen and I have my brother and sister (20 and 23) to thank for introducing me to Oasis. There's still a pretty large fanbase in our generation, thankfully. I'm just hoping they do a 2015 reunion so I still have a chance to see them live. Undoubtedly the most love I've ever had for a band
I heard of Noel leaving Oasis, but I just didn't believe it. I didn't want it to be real. Now I realize what's up and with a deep sadness in my heart all I wanted is to hear this song.
It's nine o'clock, I'm getting tired I'm sick of all my records And the clothes I bought today Am I cracking up, or just getting older? i agree , im 32 and i got into them when i was 15, seen em firstly in cork ireland on the morning glory tour when they were the biggest band on the planet bar none , i would only love to be discovering them now , i know every song/bside etc, the younger lads/lasses are in for a big treat.
I'm early 20's and they have also been the sound track to my whole life from as far back as I can remember. They are a dyeing breed of British Rock'n'Roll and I just hope to God that they keep making records whether they stay separated or get back together. Beady Eye and Noel G HFB have been the best music we have created in the UK in the past few years. Please keep going guys, or get back together! We need our Gallagher fix any way we can!
@Jingotic im 42 and watched Oasis right from the beginging..and not a day goes by that i dont listen to them..their the anthem to my life..so to hear the younger ones getting into them now is great..what a back catalogue to discover..
@LeedsBoyLUFC Well said m8, I am 29 and been there from just about the beginning!! Excellent to see young fans like yourself so enthusiastic about them! To this day if ur in the pub late at night all age groups start singing a bit of Oasis if its put on by the DJ or the Duke Box!!
yes dude... i done when i was your age that 15 years ago,it was oasis that made me do it!!! Now i play gigs and people LOVE it... music is the way brother, learn the guitar and let loose ;)
Noel should come back with a song like "Imagine".....something really epic and universal that can't be denied go No. 1 in America & give the music industry a good kick up the arse. This would open the doors for an Oasis come back in the States where they would tour sell out concerts in HUGE stadiums all over Nth America and sell a squillion records , win a shitfull of grammys whilst slagging off Lady Caca , Bieber & Britney......then make a movie about it all!!! Nice dream!!!
Fuckin' In The Bushes Go Let It Out Who Feels Love? (As Long As They've Got) Cigarettes in Hell Let's All Make Believe Gas Panic! Full On (Liam on Vox) Where Did It All Go Wrong? Just Getting Older I Can See A Liar Roll It Over that should've been giants
@TheNutsOfficiel Yes ^^ But I think it's true, because Liam said (a long time ago) that he had already listen the Noel's album and he said that Noel stole many demo (2009) from Oasis for his album ^^
@theshameband Are you kidding? Noel doesn't need liam and his band, sure it was astounding with them all together but im almost certain when noels album comes out this summer it'll blow away beady eye. No means to bash, but i honestly think noel was a significant part of Oasis as a whole.
@LeedsBoyLUFC Ya dude i'm 19 and their has not been day in the past 2 years that i have not listened to this great band:) and i think your feelings are common to all us Oasis fans.
Would have been a better single than Sunday morning call. In fact throw carry us all, Full on (Liam on vocals), Let’s all make believe and this on to standing on the shoulders of giants and it would have been a great album.
Forgot this song existed, heard it years back - thanks - awsome. Can anyone recommend other b-sides on which noel sings - prefer his vocals on Oasis songs to liam. The mans a legend. Liam not so much a legend.
Fuckin’ In The Bushes Go Let It Out Who Feels Love (As Long As They’ve Got) Cigarettes In Hell Let’s All Make Believe Gas Panic Where Did It All Go Wrong Just Getting Older Full On Roll It Over imagine that.
@ChrisLovesOasis Its only the beat that is similar and timing of the lyrics. If you have a music program and you break it down you will see what I mean.
This song saved my life. I went through a really dark time when I had really bad depression in my teens and this literally saved me.
Nice one man stay strong and always rember to talk to friends.
Idiot
Go on Oasis Mania’s page on Facebook, look for the masterlist and then look at number 73. You’re welcome 😉

Noel is a genius, and to think this wasn’t on an album is criminal I’m glad I stumbled onto this
Even getting older it's amazing with Oasis
This song and "Stay Young" are polar opposites.
I actually like to listen to them back to back

I love that I still discover a couple new tracks by them each month.
They were writing some pretty fucking good tunes for SOTSOG, fuck knows what was going through their heads when they compiled it.
it's amazing how oasis' b sides are usually alot sadder than a sides
whenever I think I am too late to do something, I think of this song and play it. To feel what getting older is like.
listening to this on my 31st birthday, remembering back to when i first discovered this song at 19 and thinking how it's hitting harder with every year that passes.
They definitely should've released Stay Young as a single, with this as the B Side.
first song i've learned on guitar. Oasis is the reason why i picked up the guitar.
