To spend years of his life diligently training to value all lifeforms and to work so hard to never harm another living being... only to have to beat the life out of another living being (even a demon) all night until sunrise. Truly hellish. What an amazing man to go through something so terrible and still respect the gravity of what he had done.

Those who didn't understand and calling it aura, the smoke effect is Muzan breaking Wisteria Barrier and getting burnt yet healing instantly. Need understanding of the difference of animation between aura and air/barrier resistance.👍 U are welcome
Also, if u want to know about where u saw the kid who betrayed Gyomei in flashback, check episode 17 of season 1, Zenitsu's flashback. Zenitsu's story next will be based on him 😎
We are not calling the burning effect Aura. The entire scene itself represented his aura (Aura isn't something visible 😅 It's like the opposite of embarrassment)

Genya getting so close to Tanjiro and being such a calm spirit is one of the highlights of this episode. It's been a pleasure seeing him throughout this season.
Zenitsu going full serious after being extra goofy this season is such a crazy change. Understandable, given his backstory, but still, it really catches you offguard when you see it.
Tanjiro disarming Sanemi with his kindness was hilarious to see. It really didn't help the situation when Giyu commented on his culinary preferences.
Muzan's walk and that short dialogue between him and Ubuyashiki - I can't even begin to imagine how much work and money went into animating that.

Good job recognising the kid that betrayed the Stone Hashira, you're one of few reactors that caught it.
The little girl didn't mean to blame Gyomei, she was refering to the demon, but because the demon burned away and there was no evidence, everyone assumed she meant Gyomei.

11:04 Fun Fact: The little girl actually met the Demon that broken was a "Monster and killed them all" but since she didn't say who she meant, they all assumed it was Gyomei and took him since the Demon's body was gone and the girl couldn't speak correctly to even help Gyomei get out
In fact, the MUZAN scene in the latter half of the film was an anime original, and even Japanese who knew the original story were astonished by the images!

Jus to mention a little detail that wasnt clear on this episode and the next haha, Sayo the little girl that survived didnt mean to blame Gyomei, she was refering to the demon but he was already vanished so the police/people misunderstood her and they blame Gyomei, in the manga they clarify that Sayo was always grateful to him for saving her life and wanted to than him once she grew a little.
The entrance to the house is a hot topic. I am Japanese, and I used to feel such a slow and special feeling when entering my grandparents' Japanese house (probably Meiji or Taisho), which still existed a lot in Showa era. There is a deep meaning to entering the gate, and my father and grandfather would say, for example, "Never cross the threshold again" if the family was breaking off ties when they left the house. Also, on the occasion of a happy marriage, they would tell their daughter, "Never cross the threshold again. The nuance is difficult, though.
If you two like old shoujo manga anime, try watching the Taisho era "Hai Kara san ga toru" for an idea of what I mean.

I think the smoke coming off muzan is because of the wisteria trees around the property are burning him but he's regenerating so fast it's not affecting him at all.

Spoiler: Zenitsu's master killed himself after finding out that the other apprentice (Kaigaku) became a demon. That made Zenitsu mad and upset... kaigaku is also the boy that was resposible for Gyomei's sad story (the kid that led the demons to the shed)
