Owners that sit in the car and order food to be brought to them while their restaurant is failing has to be the most disrespectable thing I've seen an owner do on this show. On top of that, they told the waiter that brought the food to them to get them a fork.
Ironically that was her own son 😂 & that’s another reason he didn’t bring it
I would've thrown it on the ground and screamed at them to get their shit together, their actions were so disrespectful
I would have texted them back- “you want it, get off your fat asses and get in here and make it yourself, lazy pigs!” No way to treat employees or family!

I love the moments where the owners or whoever get really defensive and start squaring up to Gordon and wanting to fight him and he’s always just completely baffled
It's ironic how restaurants that pre-cook their food don't like the idea of wasting the food and yet what their doing makes the food come back and gets thrown out anyway and they end up wasting more than just throwing out fresh food

@@koba_Lyle We talk about how so many owners on this show are like "I can't let this business fail, it's supporting my family," meanwhile it's actually DRAINING all their savings. In some cases (not all) if they just closed the place and sold the building, or ended the lease, they would be a lot better off than continuing to put money in. In a therapy sense we talk about how many people will follow that kind of path, because "quitting" is so scary, but sometimes the right choice to leave something that's not working.

The Doctor has always pissed me off. You can’t be given constructive criticism/ feedback. If you are always the one talking. Not just the restaurant business, but any business, cannot function if the employees cannot be on speaking terms with the boss. It’s a sinking ship and she’s the captain who will take everyone down with her.

The owners treated the restaurant similar to how Disney treats Star Wars; they thought the name alone would make them money. That's why the owners bought the restaurant from the previous owner's family when he died.
