Hey Jeremy, I noticed that there is a high pitched ringing that can be heard when you press and sustain the middle C at around 0:26. I'm not sure if you can hear it but I have noticed it on my CLP-545 as well (I believe it's the same sampling). In particular I hear it when I strike the B note next to middle C with repeated forte and hold the sustain pedal down. It can become rather annoying and distracting especially with headphones. I've played around with the brilliance and reverb but the ringing is still there regardless. I was just curious if you heard this too. I've read that it is high frequency overtones from the samples of a real Yamaha grand that cause this effect so it is technically accurate. Have you noticed this at all during your playing?
Hmm, I don't hear it. Do note that the piano should sound different with the damper pedal depressed. It's normal. This is because there are other strings that are free to vibrate (won't go into the technical details). I've only ever heard a richer sound as a result of having the damper pedal depressed.
+Jeremy Ng Ok. It's kind of weird. I've never really heard it before in my own playing until recently. Now it's like I can't unhear it lol. Maybe it's a good thing that others might not hear it. I guess I should just stop worrying about it and try not to focus on it. I guess it does add a sense of realism rather than a flawed sample.
+Jeremy Ng I just realized I commented on the wrong video. Check out your Kyle Landry cover version of Let it Go on the P155 and turn up the volume and listen to when the first verse starts when you are hitting the middle C. Sorry for the confusion lol. Let me know if you hear it.
Ryan692 The only flaw I've experienced with this piano is the unnatural decay of a certain D note that I've talked about on one of my videos a long time ago. I'm still convinced today that it's a flaw.
Aww, you shoulda uploaded way earlier to fully capitalize on the Frozen hype! It's alright, you can't go wrong with Disney! I'm actually going to Disneyland pretty soon, I'm super stoked! :D
I did! I covered Kyle's arrangement in May last year! And yes, I think I can't go wrong with TWO versions of _Let It Go_. Haha. 3 more Disneys to go btw. And I won't ever come back to it again. At least not for a long time. Have fun at Disneyland! :)

I learned the Kyle Landry’s version up to about 85 percent but I’m gonna try that one too
