Not quite there yet. SW, still sandy and that crowd?. Jamie check from his balcony and decided to go fishing..good call! Great coverage and look forward to more.
Haven't been surfing for long, since last year. As a regular summer beach visitor like most people i used to go swim in the sea, here in the North Sea but never saw a real swell. As a surfer you get more focused on these things and it's so cool to see a real swell rolling in but they never get any higher than 1.7 or 1.8 m here. It's so weird to see the displacement of so much water in an ocean rather than just a sea.
@@oahusurffilms I went to Brittany last year to surf.. went into 9ft surf and yeah....an ocean is very, very intimidating. The water displacement is ever much bigger. After the session i developed a fear that lasted a year.... seriously, i looked at a video of Waimea on a big day and had to turn it off... it triggered the fear. I won't ever go where sharks are... too old to learn to adjust to the fear. (50yrs).
Been surfing 67 year, seriously. Your vids are enjoyable for just about everyone, drylander or active shredder. Keep them coming. Aloha.
Mahalo for the kind words. So glad people are starting to take note it's not just about Pro Surfers!
Nothing like standing on that beach when the sets are coming in, goosebumps. Truly beautiful place. Mahalo for the video sir 🤙

Most likely Jamie at 2:36 so yeah I don't think he went fishing...
More in the lineup for sure
Pipe in the summer is so peaceful. Not so much in the winter lol!!
Ive been wanting to get out and do a deep dive into what the reef looks like but I couldn't make it out during the summer.
Nice tubes! 🌊

Dats 4 foot Santa Monica bruddah!

If it was three feet and breaking like this, it would be an epic day at my local break.
Touche
Sick
mahalo for tuning in
Nice🤙🤙🤙
Yep, Pipeline is coming alive
Reminds me of wind waves on Lake Tahoe.
✌✌✌✌
That wave at 1:07 was alright.
Jake Maki
Nuts 1😮
That boogie boarder at 4:40 knew who had the right of way lol
Is it just me, or is it bleeping annoying seeing drones flying in the lineup.
It's definitely not just you. And they try to get as close to the water line as possible nowadays.
It's annoying ASF! Should be a new rule, don't follow surfers closely with your drone unless it's your guy/girl you are filming
@@hawaiifreespeechnews I agree especially at surfing competitions.
