try keeping a notebook and pen next to your bed. when you wake up (even in the middle of the night) write everything down. when i use to do this years ago, it became so automatic i would find entries i didnt recall writing.
I once had a dream where a clown was chasing me with a puppet that yelled “F**K YOU” and then I jumped off a building and saw a person that was like helicopter and human yelling “IM A HELICOPTER” Then i saw a Christmas tree roundhouse kick a centaur that had the head of a horse and the legs of a human.then i woke up
The most funniest thing happened to me is that I remember every detail in my dream than my real life! Ever since I was a kid I always remember my dreams, some are scary(I was followed by a black spirit kid that always end up in a dressing store), some are prediction(I dreamed that it will rain next day and I wasn't carry any umbrella so I got soak, so in real life I bring my umbrella and the rain suddenly poured), some are beautiful(I was in food world, a planet where everything is edible. Dunno maybe I sleep hungry that time.. LOL)

Everyone has multiple dreams during their sleep. Average is 5-7 in one night. You forget the first dreams while you’re still asleep and maybe can just remember the last seconds of your last dream. When you immediately wake up and get out of that momentum you forget it faster because your brain is focused on more important tasks. You can simply train your dream memory by laying in bed for a few minutes after you’ve woken up and try to remember what you dreamed about.

I have this weird thing that almost every time I dream, I become aware that I'm dreaming at some point, and then the entire dream just "pauses" and I can choose whether to wake up or continue the dream. What I usually do is try to either change the dream to something else by imagining something else or walking in a different direction than what I was moving in during the dream to try to reach the edge of the "dream space" to see what happens. When I try to change the dream the changed dream is usually really vague and blurry compared to a normal dream, and every time I think I've reached the "wall" of my dream my head starts hurting and I wake up.
Whenever I have dreams, I just accept what they throw at me until I wake up. Recently I had a dream where I was stressed and anxious about failing a science class because I missed a group project and Jamestown was involved somehow. I actually had to think for a bit after waking up to realize the science class I'm taking doesn't have any group projects and Jamestown wouldn't be relevant. After that, I don't think I'll ever have a lucid dream since I never question the logic of my dreams.

Me with a nightmare disorder: Once I had a dream where a man was launched into space by a catapult and then his head exploded and it began raining flesh and blood. (I've had worse but this is the only socially acceptable one I could remember, lol)
What do you mean by "socially acceptable?" It isn't socially unacceptable to have gruesome and detailed nightmares, even if in the dreams you're the one hurting people lol. My dreams are just as random.
I have this weird thing that almost every time I dream, I become aware that I'm dreaming at some point, and then the entire dream just "pauses" and I can choose whether to wake up or continue the dream. What I usually do is try to either change the dream to something else by imagining something else or walking in a different direction than what I was moving in during the dream to try to reach the edge of the "dream space" to see what happens. When I try to change the dream the changed dream is usually really vague and blurry compared to a normal dream, and every time I think I've reached the "wall" of my dream my head starts hurting and I wake up.

Whenever I have dreams, I just accept what they throw at me until I wake up. Recently I had a dream where I was stressed and anxious about failing a science class because I missed a group project and Jamestown was involved somehow. I actually had to think for a bit after waking up to realize the science class I'm taking doesn't have any group projects and Jamestown wouldn't be relevant. After that, I don't think I'll ever have a lucid dream since I never question the logic of my dreams.
