    There’s so many little things jpj plays that you don’t really notice in the full band track he never gets enough mentions for his intricate groovy as hell bass playing. Love these isolated tracks 😀👍

      I used to think Sting was a more accurate, tighter bass player than JPJ, Thought JPJ was a better musician over all. but sting, singer, multii instrumentalist etc...but when I listen to their isolated tracks, JPJ sounds better, clearer, tighter, more accurate .

      The way he does it live on the keys is amazing playing bass notes with his foot .

    Groove much? Goddamn! I've been playing Zep on drums since I was 8. Bonham has always been my bar of excellence. To hear it like this is so amazing!

    I never quite figure out the hi hat pattern! Its got that great Bonzo swinging swagger but at times it sounds like he's playing 16th notes too!

      Where do you hear the 16th notes?

      @@argentsilver928 Are you asking for a specific time? Because i'd have to listen again period I'm not actually claiming that he is playing 16th notes just that at times it almost sounds like he is.

    I'm gonna repeat an excellent suggestion made by "toe". He asked if you could only omit the drums in a track. I'm assuming so he could play along with his own drums. Please do this. Also please do the same for guitar players (tracks with only guitar taken out) and bassists. And if those snooty singers ask nicely enough maybe they could have a playlist too.

    That’s the great thing about JPJ having been a church organist he has that freedom between his hands and feet 👍

    would you ever consider uploading versions of these songs with just the drums removed? Would be great if possible!

      yep. which songs in particular.

    • @chraffis
      @chraffis Год назад +1

      Yes! Excellent suggestion. You could have a playlist for guitarists to play along (tracks w/o guitar) a playlist for bassists (w/o bass) Amd drummers (w/o drums).

    • @chraffis
      @chraffis Год назад +1

      Oh yeah. I suppose those damn singers will need a playlist too. 😉

      @@ludwigson11 I've had trouble finding one for Carouselambra, Achilles Last Stand (w/ vocals) and No Quarter (studio version). If you could do a few of the SRTS live one too that would be brilliant. Keep up the good work man!
