12:17 quick correction here, suga is the SECOND oldest member. Jin is the oldest :) Also with Korean age, you’re older. Your way to find that out is by adding 1 year to your current age (if your birthday has passed) or 2 years (if your birthday has still not passed). FOR EXAMPLE. Say you were born in Feb 2003, you’re 18 globally but 19 in korea. If you were born in Dec 2003 then right now you are 17 globally but you would still be 19 in Korea.
@@tiny_hyebin really? Are u sure? Just cuz I’ve heard from my Korean friend that the other way is the correct way. Also I just looked it up to make sure and they’re all explaining it the same way the original comment is. Cuz in Korea they never add a number to their age on their birthdate, only after the new year. Are u korean? Cuz it’s possible that maybe I just misheard and the internet is wrong but I thought I was sure…
@@zsar2662 I'm not sure if they add because of the time in the womb, I believe it's more like: you are IN your *first year* as soon as you're born, then when is new year you enter in your *second year.* So it's just a different point of view, they don't consider the womb period. At least that was what a Chinese friend (China is where this age system came from) explained to me once, and I think it makes much more sense than count a whole year for the 9 months. But I could be wrong!! I don't know if for Koreans they do add because of the womb time, it could be a acceptable reason in their culture, idk..

I remember Tae mentioning in In the Soop that he had a meeting at the company to discuss the style he wanted to present next. So for sure the members have a LOT of input on what they wear. The reason RM called out Louis Vuitton is because they were named brand ambassadors for that house, so they are probably given personal pieces. My guess is that otherwise a lot of what they wear for videos, events, etc. could be loaned…or at a minimum belongs to the company. We also see them re-wear stuff, but not necessarily by the same person. Also, Jin is the oldest, by four months over Suga. And I thought the funniest part of this when all three maknae line members were like “we’d hate it, no room at the inn, too much stuff” to the new member question and the hyung line was trying to be circumspect. 😂 And finally - you totally missed Jimin’s hilarious response to RM saying he takes no lessons. umm.. that isn't confirmed. RM was implying that Jimin isn't learning English and Jimin said "Netflix" like he just watches tv instead of learning anything.
@@petitebears they’re reactors they have to talk and make comments about what they’re watching, they’re so enthusiastic about everything they watched so far and they learned so much about them in such short amount of time, it’s normal and completely fine if they miss some things it’s not the end of the world and i bet they’ll learn a lot more in the future😊

I think it's Suga if they competed in just a note they can hit. He can do that deep voice roll in this throat. That would make him win. Singing only? RM
Namjoon and Yoongi's singing voices actually sound like Tae, tbh, but their rapping voices are deeper. When they sung in PTD , they were clearly baritones and would probably sound similar to Tae if they took vocal lessons.

In Korea, when you are born you are considered 1 years old not 0. So for example if I’m born on 31st December I am considered 1yrs old. But when 1st January comes I’m 2yrs old because it’s considered everybody’s birthday when it’s New Year’s. It applies for the Chinese calendar as well. So for Korean age, they are 1-2 years older compared to the international age.

With Suga talking about giving up sugar and soda and coffee, he tends to be VERY into dieting. He takes things out of his diet for short periods of time a lot to lose weight. Actually Jin is older,Yoongi is the second oldest,it’s like our fanchant First is the Leader and then it comes the oldest to the youngest Kim Namjoon(RM) Kim Seokjin(Jin) Min Yoongi(Suga) Jung Hoseok(J-Hope) Park Jimin(Jimin) (V and Jimin are both born in 95’s) Kim Taehyung(V) Jeon Jungkook(Jungkook) They play instruments like Piano,Guitar many more. And the Korean Age is like a year older,so if you are like 23 in Korean age you will be 24.
In East Asia, the first year comes at birth and incremented every New Year. Easy way to understand is that every baby born in the year of 2021 is 1 year old and then on 1/1/2022, they all turn 2 years old. For official documents like a Passport, the international system is used. Hope this helps! :)
1. Jin is the oldest 92' (suga 93') 2. jungkook's tattoos are real 3. They buy their own clothes but in front of camera they're selective of what they're wearing or they wear what the stylists give them because there's an issue with them might end up promoting brands when they already are ambassadors of different brands. 4. Korean age is older than international age. It's like jin is 28 in international age (turning 29 this December) but in Korean age he's 30 (when ur born +1, new year eve +1). 5. For Koreans spicy food means its REALLY SPICY. For foreigners the korean food can be more than average spiciness I hope this helps.....💜💜💜

I am from India, and we drink both tea and coffee. But tea is more common in rural area, than coffee. Geographical fact: coffee beans are mostly produced in South America, Africa, Middle East and South East Asia. These regions are all located along the equatorial zone between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn, widely known as the 'Bean Belt'. Certain East Asain country is more prone towards tea, like China. But country like South Kore, is prone towards coffee.
Tea is widely drank in China more than any parts of Asia. I am from Singapore (Asia) and we drink both tea and coffee, same goes for Malaysia. Basically coffee and tea is pretty common in Asia. Thailand is famous for their Thai Milk Tea. There is Vietnamese coffee too. Korea is pretty famous for their coffee and they do drink coffee more than tea. They have a lot a lot of cafes in Korea and their coffees and lattes are really good.
Avatar cooking shows ep. 102 and 103 is reeeeally funny! When it comes to swimming and coffee, I am Croatian and basically all Croatians can swim really well :D and we drink a LOT of coffee, but we have a completely different coffee culture than USA. Coffee is mostly black and very strong, and smaller, similar to Turkish or Italian coffee culture. And it’s considered more of a social situation, where you drink coffee as a way of meeting people and relaxing than a fuel to make you more productive and energised. :)
1:04 yes jungkook has a whole sleeve of real tattoos that go up to his shoulder! jimin also has a few small tattoos that usually arent visible (on his wrist and the backs of his arms) 5:15 yoongi jin and taehyung can play the piano!! yoongi plays the most, as it's an instrument he's been playing since he was a child (he talks about how much piano/music in general means to him in the song "first love") (also u can see jin playing piano on stage in his epiphany performances) yoongi jin and jungkook can also play the guitar. tae is learning the violin along w the trumpet and also played the saxophone when he was young! 7:40 korean ages are different than international ages because basically, when you are born you are 1 years old and then they count every new year as 1 year added to your age..so korean ages are usually one year older or sometimes even two years older than actual age. for example jin was born in 1992, internationally he is currently 28 turning 29 in december but in korean age i believe he turned 30 on the 2021 new year. correct me if im wrong 9:50 they do have stylists for performances and events! but they have their own casual wear 11:37 though im not korean, from my knowledge iced americanos are very popular in korea! sorry for the long comment but i hope i explained some things well :p i love your guys bts content!! i always have fun hearing ur comments and seeing u guys learn more and more about the boys! keep it up! for cooking run episodes, i recommend either 20 (the first cooking ep, its the shortest but has a lot of hilarious moments), 57-58 (here they team up and cook some italian food! very cute episodes), or 102-103 (cooking with someone else giving you instructions thru a walkie talkie, super chaotic and funny)

jin is the oldest he is 29 in global age and basically korean age is just that because before we are born 9 months pass so theoritically its close to a year and they count this months to the age so when they are born they be like my kid is already 1 year old and they have birthdays but they all add an age up during new years so basically Jin for example he is 29 in global age but in korean age 30

from my experiences, in the uk, most people drink coffee and only some people drink tea, and also, in europe in general, coffee is really big. I think in italy especially (hence the italian words like americano) it's quite interesting! thanks for your nice reactions :))
One thing about V playing instruments (solo stans will flip on me, I don't care) excp. saxophone that he took for three years (and doesn't know how the play on performance level at all) V often takes intrest in learning new instrument... then drops it after 2-3 lessons. So it's not like he actually plays it. Suga do plays piano and learns guitar and Jin is on beginer level on both. Others are not instrumentalists. They touch piano and guitar here and there just to play very simple melody. Vocalist can read music notes + Suga. I'm not sure if J-Hope and RM are "fluent". And of course they buy their own clothes. I'm 99% sure that what they are wearing here is bought by them. All of them have favourite brands and their own style. I live in slavic country and for me english was super easy to learn. It took me 3 years form nothing to almost fluent level.
Not tryna gatekeep but he most probably forgot, like he learned it when he was really young and 3 years isn’t much unless you’re practicing diligently daily. Starbucks recently exploded here just before COVID hit. So yeah coffee is a thing. Before that we had our own coffee shops, but I suppose a Starbucks is how you know you’re addicted enough and important enough for a big coffee chain to ruck up on your doorstep.
run episode 102-103 are my fav cooking ep. korean age- you're 1 year old at the time you are born, then adds 1 year after the New Year (not on your birthday). So if you are born dec 30, you will be 2 years old after 2 days (1 year at birth, + 1 year at new year).
Most Koreans can’t live without coffee if I exaggerate. There’s this thing called americano which is black coffee made light by mixing water in. Either hot or cold, but ‘ice americano even if i freeze to death’ is a poplular opinion among americano lovers lol. It’s cheep and it’s pretty refreshing. And about the tea thing, there are instant tea bags along with with instant mix coffee in like resting areas in hospitals, service areas or wherever. But from what I’ve seen, I think most people would pick coffee over tea unless you think about your health. If we don’t buy coffee at a cafe then we have instant coffee. There are free instant coffee makers in some restaurants here where we can just push a button and a paper cup and instant coffee would come out. It’s everywhere! Also about swimming in Korea, i have no idea about the percentage of how many people can swim, but I’m pretty sure from 2020 elementary schools need to teach swimming. Thanks for the reaction I always love it:)
From my memory.. ( these are some level of skill at all) Jungkook - piano, drums, guitar V - Sax, violin, trumpet, piano Jimin - piano Suga- piano, guitar RM - piano Jin- piano, guitar Jhope -piano It's a good interview and they skipped or edited out a few answers. I'm not sure why.
V cannot play the saxophone. He did in middle school but doesn't know how to anymore. Also with the violin, he was learning but stopped, so he doesn't know how to really play it. Jimin also cannot really play the piano either, just one song. Same with Jin and V, they knows a bit more than Jimin, but are still learning or only know the basics.
@@ipurpleu1668 That's why I said "some level of skill at all". If you can plunk out a basic tune, you have some skill. Surely V can manage a simple tune on the sax still, same for violin. He was still playing the sax at 16/17, so he'd not have completely lost his ability. In fact, he probably never fully will. Also, the same for the others with the piano.
@@HadassaMoon144 This comment shows that you don’t personally play instruments or have knowledge of it. Taehyung wasn’t able to play a simple tune in tune when he played on that variety show. And if you stop playing an instrument, you do stop knowing how. It’s not like riding a bike, especially when you play an instrument as a kid. V also played in middle school, not when he was 16/17, more like 12/13. So he can very easily forget. Most people don’t remember how to play the instrument they played in middle school, I probably couldn’t very well.
About the swimming and coffee questions: I'm Brazilian, and we drink a lot of coffee, strong black coffee with just sugar. And swimming, it depends on how much money you have, no one in my family knows how to swim ( myself included). Swimming lessons are expensive here.
It’s true historically, Tea came from east Asia (not sure if it’s still a cultural staple tho) but in South Korea??? Today?? Those ppl are OBSESSED with coffee 😂😂 I think it has a different impact compared to America bc we’ll just have 100 Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts in an area, but in Korea there’s like 2-4 coffee shops on just about every block And they’ll just drink it to drink it, whereas I feel like Americans mostly drink it in the mornings or for a pickup during work

To answer your question here in Taiwan although lots of parents nowadays would send their children to the swimming classes, most of the population are not good at swimming at all. And ironically even we are an island country surrounded by ocean, most people don’t know how to swim in the sea. Even those who can swim in the pool don’t necessarily know how to swim in the sea. I think it’s because of the over protection of older generations, banning their children to go play at seaside due to safety concerns. As for coffee it became very popular here since 20 years ago. Nowadays almost everyone would enjoy a cup of coffee on a daily basis and the most popular flavor are cafe latte and Americano. And you’re right we drink tea a lot. It’s like a main beverage besides water. If you go to any convenient store here in Taiwan, you will find 90% of the beverages products are all kinds of teas. You can also find so many beverage shops on street that most menu are tea related products.
Australia - we get swimming lessons at school as part of the curriculum and most people can swim. We’ve got a very big coffee culture and we all hate American style coffee.
dunno if anyone already commented this, but coffee is a relatively American thing, I'm from Australia, where we LOVE coffee. However until WW2 coffee really wasn't something people drank here. After the American soldiers came and we imported a bunch for them and what not it became popular here. I think tea and coffee have become international beverages? Like, in my country (from South Asia) tea and coffee along with other herbs and plants have been grown for a long time. Ever since 1800s it's more focused on exportation rather than national consumption but I could say that tea and coffee are equally famous. Tea is considered traditionally popular but coffee is more day-to-day need popular.

Jin is the oldest. Jungkook’s tattoos are real. In Korean age you’re one or two years older than your actual age.
V : *does something impressive*
Wes : *well he's an actor* 😂😂
I noticed that too lol 😂
I think it’s Tae, Namjoon and Yoongi that have the deepest voices
Yes i agree
I think it's Suga if they competed in just a note they can hit. He can do that deep voice roll in this throat. That would make him win. Singing only? RM
Namjoon and Yoongi's singing voices actually sound like Tae, tbh, but their rapping voices are deeper. When they sung in PTD , they were clearly baritones and would probably sound similar to Tae if they took vocal lessons.
I agree 100%
@@HadassaMoon144 Namjoon as also talked abt how when speaking in Korean or for events and such he usually heightens the tone of his voice so it’s easier to understand bc with his natural tone sometimes ppl have a hard time understanding him😳
For the question how they learned English Jimin actually answered netflix
In Korea, when you are born you are considered 1 years old not 0.
So for example if I’m born on 31st December I am considered 1yrs old. But when 1st January comes I’m 2yrs old because it’s considered everybody’s birthday when it’s New Year’s. It applies for the Chinese calendar as well.
So for Korean age, they are 1-2 years older compared to the international age.
the team crew definitely cleaned up those searches FOR SURE! 😂😂😂😅😅
If you want to watch them cook watch Ep 20, 35, 36, 57, 58, 102, 103, 122, 123, in episode 45 they don't cook but they try to make coffee

5:18 they can play some other instruments too that they didn’t mentions in this, some of the members can play piano, guitar and drums and tae played the saxophone at some point :)
With Suga talking about giving up sugar and soda and coffee, he tends to be VERY into dieting. He takes things out of his diet for short periods of time a lot to lose weight. Like there was another point when he was doing a no-carbs diet too. He also fasts a lot and does immediate fasting (only eating a couple hours a day). His weight fluctuates a lot.

About instruments they can play that I've seen.
Jungkook - Drums, guitar
V - Piano, he was also learning violin and as he said now trumpet, many people say that V knows how to play the saxophone but he only played for 3 years and he doesn't remember how to play properly anymore
Jimin - Piano, and he told Jungkook that he knows how to play harmonica
Rm - I never saw him play
Jhope - I've never seen Jhope playing any instrument but he's very good at beatboxing
Suga - piano, guitar
Jin - piano, guitar
(if there's something I forgot, comment here)
From what I could see in a Run they are good on the flute too
hobi can play the recorder! lol
Actually V does remember how to play saxophone . He's trained.
Actually Jin is older,Yoongi is the second oldest,it’s like our fanchant
First is the Leader and then it comes the oldest to the youngest
Kim Namjoon(RM)
Kim Seokjin(Jin)
Min Yoongi(Suga)
Jung Hoseok(J-Hope)
Park Jimin(Jimin)

Kim Taehyung(V)
Jeon Jungkook(Jungkook)
They play instruments like Piano,Guitar many more.
I am from India and people mainly drink tea. Only the younger generation are into coffee.
Teenagers and young adults nowadays like coffee more, but there are some who drink more tea like me. The elders are the ones who enjoy tea.
1. Jin is the oldest 92' (suga 93')
2. jungkook's tattoos are real
For foreigners the korean food can be more than average spiciness
I hope this helps.....💜💜💜

I’ve been loving the styles of interviews they’ve been doing recently, Tysm for reacting!
1:04 yes jungkook has a whole sleeve of real tattoos that go up to his shoulder! jimin also has a few small tattoos that usually arent visible (on his wrist and the backs of his arms)
5:15 yoongi jin and taehyung can play the piano!! yoongi plays the most, as it's an instrument he's been playing since he was a child (he talks about how much piano/music in general means to him in the song "first love") (also u can see jin playing piano on stage in his epiphany performances) yoongi jin and jungkook can also play the guitar. tae is learning the violin along w the trumpet and also played the saxophone when he was young!
7:40 korean ages are different than international ages because basically, when you are born you are 1 years old and then they count every new year as 1 year added to your age..so korean ages are usually one year older or sometimes even two years older than actual age. for example jin was born in 1992, internationally he is currently 28 turning 29 in december but in korean age i believe he turned 30 on the 2021 new year. correct me if im wrong
9:50 they do have stylists for performances and events! but they have their own casual wear
11:37 though im not korean, from my knowledge iced americanos are very popular in korea!

it's quite interesting! thanks for your nice reactions :))
you people are so down to earth and open minded it's amazing to watch your videos
I learned the guitar for 2/3 years and I don’t even remember how to read notes now loll
Only remember the cords 💀
U gotta keep practicing esp if it’s an instrument

Jungkook - piano, drums, guitar
V - Sax, violin, trumpet, piano
Jimin - piano
Suga- piano, guitar
RM - piano
Jin- piano, guitar
Jhope -piano
It's a good interview and they skipped or edited out a few answers.
About the swimming and coffee questions:
I'm Brazilian, and we drink a lot of coffee, strong black coffee with just sugar.
And swimming, it depends on how much money you have, no one in my family knows how to swim ( myself included). Swimming lessons are expensive here.
It’s true historically, Tea came from east Asia (not sure if it’s still a cultural staple tho) but in South Korea??? Today?? Those ppl are OBSESSED with coffee 😂😂
I think it has a different impact compared to America bc we’ll just have 100 Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts in an area, but in Korea there’s like 2-4 coffee shops on just about every block
And they’ll just drink it to drink it, whereas I feel like Americans mostly drink it in the mornings or for a pickup during work
I wish you guys could explore more about the members, their characters and story. Run is fun but there are 100 plus episodes so it'll take a loong time.
Korea first imported coffee right before the 1900's but it was only a a Royal thing, It was popularised after the Korean War with the American influence there, It's interesting to see the way other countries are perceived in different cultures! love your guy's channel!
In Korea, your Korean age is 1/2 years older than your actual age. In South Korea you are 1 when you born (they include pregnancy in your age) then everyone turns a year older on New Years (January 1st) not their actual birthday. So their international ages are Jungkook 23, V 25, Jimin 25, RM 26, J-Hope 27, Suga 28, and Jin 28. But their Korean ages are Jungkook 25, Jimin 27, V 27, RM 28, J-Hope 28, Suga 29, and Jin 30.
BTS has been known to buy their own clothes and not accepted sponsorship. I guess because they dress based on their preference and concept so that they have more freedom to explore their styles. Even for personal-used the members purchase whatever outfits they want to wear, from the most affordable one to luxury brands. But they're now Louis Vuitton's global ambassadors, hence RM mentioned LV 😂
