You can tell Lachlan has been wrestling a lot. He's whole approach to grappling is more wrestling based than traditional bjj. Use bodyweight; immobolize opponent; get a dominant grip, and drive in regardless of opponent's resistance: if he let's you, you win. If he doesn't let you, he'll lose.
Lachlan, what is keeping him from trapping and rolling you over when you pull him to his side? This is an honest question. Not trying to be a smartass. Thank you.
What prevents the bottom person from extracting his arm (and putting it on the wrong side of your head) as you lift him up to clasp your hands behind his shoulder blade? At 6:10
I suspect you don't really need to clasp your hands to finish. Perhaps you can instead leave your right arm free and block the victim's left arm as you slide your head into place.
Doesn't the next step address that, where he blocks his arm by driving his head forward and "around the corner" to block the arm? I assume those are done in pretty quick succession when applying the technique and only separated for demonstration.
I always know it's good when it's like what Neil Melanson does. Nice one Lachy
You can quantify how deep the choke is by looking at the redness of Mitch's scalp ♥️
This was a beautiful demonstration!
Wow, great details. Thank you as always.
Freaking awesome !
I was passing to side control exactly like you said it was wrong haha.
I can't hear his name, but I imagine mich is the one that disliked lol nothing like a nice thorough explanation while being choked lol

Sometimes when I go for the arm triangle the guy turns into me and gets out. What am I doing wrong?
That’s great. Now you can pull him into the back take that chains from that reaction.
@@stantoncochran536 Thanks
@@rand_-mk5lb No problem 👍🏼
Perhaps not blocking the arm with your head?
Don’t leave mount until the choke is fully sunk in, take your time

@@TempestTenor good suggestion, since one handed finishes are possible. Will have to play around with that
