When you take it to the ground in jui-jitsu its like swimming, You ether know how to swim or you don't. Anyone that's a Brown belt or higher is basically like a shark in the water. If you cant at least swim (defend), you won't stand a chance.
@@FreerunnerCamilo I think that depends what gym you train at. Some OG gyms are hardcore and make people train for like 4-6 years before they even give you a chance to prove you've learned all the purple belt defensive techniques inside and out. Low quality Gyms just give belts out prematurely to keep people around or so they transfer gyms they can "earn it" faster.
I've rolled with some nasty purple belts and some not so good purple belts. Some seemed like they belong in brown almost and the others definitely should still be blue belts.
I was a wrestler in middle school and highschool and every since ive been wanting to get to one of these dojos and just roll around with one of there best guys to see how much i time i wasted wrestling
Nah bro thats not how it works. if you wrestled, your skills will transfer really well. Takedowns, pressure, etc. What you will learn that is likely new is obviously Gi chokes, but also how to work out of the guard position as an attack and also all the wild submissions. Wrestlers in BJJ usually smash other white belts and at blue belt it gets scary for the comp.

A lot of us came cause we saw thumbnail & went "HUH Is that Bradley without a hat?!"
Brads Mentality on the mat is what most champions and true Black belts are made of. Its all about being a student and repping technique all day, everyday...
Brad is a very good learner and has patience. He can be a very good roller
“So you think you can beat me in a street fight?”
I started training Jiu Jitsu 2 years ago. It changed my life forever. Can’t wait too you start this journey Brad!
SAME BRO, BUT ONLY A YEAR AGO. OSS
I learned the hard way as a bigger strong guy rolling use ur weight dont constantly use ur strength so awesome too see killing it
Yup this is definitely the way to do it for larger guys
Indeed use the mass and keep leaning on them, conserve the energy and use it wisely
Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most humbling things you could ever do. Props to Brad 🤘🏻
Man these guys are as big as brad in stature and are masters of BJJ. Just crazy.
quite terrifying
Imagine if Brad was a black belt
Truly would be the scariest guy alive
Have you not watched heavy weights Bjj/UFC lmao.
Not the case, just cause he’s masculine doesnt mean he’s going to be the scariest lol you obv haven’t done any martial arts 👊🏻
@@dannyboy4615 brad is different bro
@@optimuscunt7746 yes I have i do boxing, kickboxing, and wrestling
Gordon Ryan would be shaking in his pants
That’s a very clean gym, I love it.
When you take it to the ground in jui-jitsu its like swimming, You ether know how to swim or you don't. Anyone that's a Brown belt or higher is basically like a shark in the water. If you cant at least swim (defend), you won't stand a chance.
Purple belts+
@@FreerunnerCamilo I think that depends what gym you train at. Some OG gyms are hardcore and make people train for like 4-6 years before they even give you a chance to prove you've learned all the purple belt defensive techniques inside and out. Low quality Gyms just give belts out prematurely to keep people around or so they transfer gyms they can "earn it" faster.
I've rolled with some nasty purple belts and some not so good purple belts. Some seemed like they belong in brown almost and the others definitely should still be blue belts.
@@savagechristman real purple belts are no joke.
I love the brown belt guy “you can do this” like a badass version of rob Schneider 😂
Crazy how tall everyone is Brads 6’3
Brads 6'1
@@petarjocic2918 6’3*
Vishaldeep Singh If you are delusional then yes 6’3
@@petarjocic2918 how lmao you think he’s 6’1 lmao smh, Logan Paul’s 6’2, Brad easily looks an inch taller than him
Vishaldeep Singh Logan Paul is not 6’2 don’t believe everything you read on internet as I said you are delusional. I met Brad at FIBO and I’m 6’2 and I was taller than him.
That move at 6:40 was like watching a comedy flick
The tall brown belt seems like a legend. give him more screen time for sure.
do videos with him
More Plates More Dates is definitely gonna be making a video on this 😂😂
Trust some of the shots are nasty. Guys obviously getting transplants
“I got rocked.. that was a good punch” lmaoo
That cardio’s crazy! Did my first session too as a bodybuilder last week! Bjj will humble you no doubt.
OSS!! 🙏🏽✊🏽✊🏽!! I never seen this video before!! I respect you a lot for doing Jiu Jitsu ✊🏽!! And the fact it was your second time means you were already humbled last time and you came BACK ✊🏽✊🏽!! OSS🙏🏽
brad knowing jujitsu is terrifying. Could be a beast
The issue is his mass. His body would fatigue from trying to get people in submissions. There's a reason you don't see heavyweights rolling around in the UFC doing all these crazy tricks. They would gas very quickly.
@@MrBoxingcrazysal Not everyone

I would love to train with these guys, especially that brown belt, the knowledge from them can be exponential for me.
Im only a blue and havent trained in forever😭😭😭😭
Bradley with MMA skills seems kinda dangerous
Bradley has hair omg congrats dude what did u do ive been on the hair struggle grind its decent but all the way great. havent watched recently but bradley with hair eyyyyy
6:39 When U Try Get Away From Ur Mom As A Kid
6:10 best part. LMAO. Brad flew
Even if Brad just got a blue belt, he'd be terrifying on the matts
No he wouldn't, shut it alan
We both know he gave him the arm triangle and if the bluebelt just want to pull guard and play singleleg X he'd heel hook him over and over unless the blue belt sucks
@@ryang9973 nope Brad is a demigod and can beat anyone.
RyanG this is actually true, but still
@@alanp9416 😂😂
A lot of respect for a bodybuilder to get in the ring with a judo master.
Bradley martin on that Keeps and Rogain Flow, gettin his hair back
Need more videos like this, I’ll admit I haven’t been watching much workout vids but these mma vids I love!
Damn the hair coming in nice
I agree, he has a worse come over than Donald Trump.
I was always wondering what was going on under the hat.. Hair seems fine tho, Does he have like a problem with it or something?
to much black tar will do it
Why doesn’t he just install some hair plugs , he’s in holly weird
Would look better buzzed though
12:25 thought we where in wrestling for a sec😂
Brad is pretty athletic for his size. And he did great here knowing that he does not roll that often. Kudos to his training partners.
That stripped brown belt tho, sheeesh soooo technical with his moves.
Hi Brad that's awesome to see you improving. I started doing Jump rope To help improve my cardio for Brazilian Jujitsu
jump rope lmao. you cant even spell jiu jitsu. you dont train. stop lying.
Brad's a big tough dude with the right training he will definitely be a beast.
Brad escaping a black belts triangle with almost no bjj experience is very commendable
The black belt was literally playing around, relax 🤦
he didnt escape. he went to slam and the black belt let go. no one tried against him at all. if they did, hed be missing limbs.
Thank You Bradley for being humble enough to try this. Bradley is the strongest person I've ever seen in the gym, benching 500 lbs +.....So now I understand the POWER of BJJ.
Not the same kind of “power”. Sure these bjj guys are strong but majority is technique.
You should see how he acts now, least humble person on the internet
