Hi, was going through your comparison and just as a pet parent with 2 dogs would like to point out few things. 1 DF has 1st ingredient as real chicken >40% whereas RC has 'chicken byproducts, which can be anything like intestine, feet, skin, bones or whatever that is not suitable for human consumption and is discarded. Well that says a lot, but let's move ahead.
2 how many times you can see' rice' in royal canin ingredients list, check same in drools focus.
3 expensive does not always means better. It's imported product so it's expensive value wise it far behind DF.
4 DF has protein 28% minimum whereas RC has 27% maximum.
I am not a promoter of any brand but I am here to speak what I know. And for a fact I am not a very big fan of any kibble best food is home cooked food with chicken egg pumpkin carrots as main ingredients.
I give my lab puppy focus n get good result.
In developed countries , royal canin is seen as shitty food. No ones buy royal canin there. I don't know why indian has such hype for royal canin. obviously by ingredients list, focus has an edge over royal canin plus being indian brand they are using local chicken which are of good quality as well as cheaper.

yes definately you can switch from ND to Focus, however, pls keep in mind that you dont introduce this new feed completely from day one. Means, aapko koi bhi naya food ek dum se switch nhi karna hai. aapko koi bhi product dheere dheere dena aur badana hai.. for example:
1st and 2nd day: 75% ND and 25% Focus
3rd and 4th day 65% ND and 35 % Focus
5th day 50% ND and 50% Focus
6th day 65% Focus and 35% ND
7th day 75% Focus and 25% ND
8th day onwards, you can give 100 % focus
Pls follow the above method and your dog will be good.
Focus is the premium product of Drools , so you can switch to this food, result are also good.

That's right Swetank..Focus is the second premium product introduced by Drools India..but is no where less nutritionist when compared with other high end products..So GOOD CHOICE

Hello guys, my Golden got very sick after feeding Focus to him for 4 days, he was in a very bad situation with intense vomiting and foul smelling liquid stoll which he had no control on, We took him immediately to the vet. It was food poisoning, please do not feed focus to your dog which has no dietary fiber in it and all in all an utter waste product.
this happens when a dog is under immature person's custody bfr changing any diet of u r puppy u must introduce focus in very low qty so that u r puppy would get used to it then eventually increase the qty and while giving starter u must feed liver tonic for better digestion i hope u have understood what i want u to convey.

You should introduce your pet to the new food first give one or 2dry kibble then start mixing a little amount of the new brand into the old food...like the first few days 25% then 50%,75% and then you are ready to change the brand...you can't change their food all of a sudden cause they tend to get sick because of that like lose motion and all ...always ask your vet if you wanna change anything to ur furry friend's diet, they will guide you with proper instructions.

You can definitely give this feed to your dog . it's all breed formula.. however pls don't introduce it immediately..so need to give it in small portion with you current feed .and only handful kibbles will be sufficient for him at this stage.. you need feed him 3-4 times in a day ..make sure quantity is less. Only handful..

Bhai n&d ka koi Todd nhi hai digestion system bhut accha hai n&d ka bone structure ka result good or active rehta hai or hair shiny or gud nails fever nhi Hua is feed ke baad but summer mein 1 time do winter mein 2 time krdo better result aayega pkka or baaki time curd or egg do gud result aayea bye👍

You don't have strong opinion about one brand. Even if budget is not an issue still I'll recommend drools focus based on quality ingredients which RC is missing out. Just because brand is old doesn't mean it makes quality products. It's like ऊची दुकान फीका पकवान।
I have both royal canin and focus can I mix them for my 50 days old German shepherd ?
Hi Akshay..its not recommended to mix the food.coz it will be difficult for your dog to digest and some other problems may also arise due to this...so feed him separately.
