Dark Matter Review! Heck yeah! Get ready for another huge comment. As always you seem to have a better cover than me! I had also heard basically nothing but great stuff on Dark Matter before I read it, and only after I read it and posted my video have I seen a bit more mixed reviews. Spoilers after the break . . . I called him Dresden almost the entire book, I had to re-record several sections of my video because I called him Dresden. Agreed, the concept of my family living with someone else was so chilling and rage inducing. Truly a terrifying concept that really hooked me in. I also thought the reddit thread/chat room bit was a bit convoluted, but I suppose its one of those, infinite monkeys infinite typewriter things. I found it very scary with all the other Jason's, and how they really were all the Jason that lived with Daniella and Charlie, they had just split timelines since that point, no telling that our Jason was even the "original" or if being the "original" means anything at all, if they all have the exact same memories who's to say who's the "original" I also loved Amanda as a character, I just wish she had a bit of a better ending, I would of loved to see how her story ends up, and I am hoping that we explore her a bit more in the show (Although from the trailer it looks like they have changed her character, to maybe a girlfriend/wife of Jason2. Not sure haven't seen the show yet) Agreed on the Multiverse stuff, there are infinite possibilities, and we really only saw like 4 different ones, snow world, forest world, future world, then lots of different Chicago's. It works for the plot I suppose, but I really wish we spent more time exploring them, and had some more challenges and confrontations in the other multiverses. Yeah I agree, the lottery thing didn't work for me at all either. Once Jason gets back and discovers the other versions of himself, it does almost feel like a different book from the thriller first half. Chicago book tag when 😅 I was disappointed to find out the show was releasing episodes weekly, not all at once, so I am waiting for it to be finished then I'll binge it in a day.
Hey man what can I say? Us Americans are spoiled with choice. I am so glad I'm not the only one that called him Dresden lol Oh nooooo, if they change Amanda to a genuine love interest (instead of just a tease like in the book) than I think she's a completely different character aside from her name IMO. Hahaha hopefully no Chicago book tag 😂 Honestly I'm terrible with watching television, so I probably won't get around to it but if I do it'll probably be in years
