Hey Simone! 0 week is pretty much all fun and games, the real deal begins once the classes start but it’s still a pretty holistic and nice experience once you start settling in! I hope you get in, all the best in advance

Hello there, Shatakshi! I have been shortlisted for the Ashoka Undergraduate Interview which is scheduled for the 29th of this month i.e. two days from now. Please share some insights and tips as to how I can perform well and what areas I should expect questions from. A quick response is solicited, thanks in advance! :)
You should be well versed with anything and everything that you mentioned in your application! This includes your essays, personal information and if there was a section about your top 5 books or something similar, then that as well. They could ask you questions regarding something that you found intriguing on the Internet (new research, innovation or breakthrough). Questions can also arise from the subject of your prospective major. Take a few seconds to fully absorb the question being asked and then answer as honestly as you can. You may think that your opinion on something is wrong and have the urge to say an answer that would please the interviewer but refrain from that. Ashoka likes opinionated individuals who have their own voice and are confident about what they bring to the table. Best wishes xx Shatakshee
hey i was also shortlisted for the interview this month they asked me questions about my major that is eco and finance they asked me if i knew about liberal arts unis and foundations courses in Ashoka ( I didn’t know about the foundation courses) Why did I choose Ashoka Also she was cross questioning me on EVERYTHING Whatever I said she made sure to disagree . Be firm w your answer but don’t sound rude . If you feel like you said something wrong say that you will research about it and brush up your knowledge
Shatakshi, I am not a good English speaker. Can it create any problem during the interview ?. Actually , I never had any conversation with anyone in English. This will be the first time.
Hi! I am not a 100% sure but Ashoka focuses on all aspects of the application process equally. If you have fared well thus far then that is appreciated and will be considered too. Just try to give your best in the interview as well and I think you will be fine. Best of luck!
Hi! I think financial aid decision comes out separately. You will know if you’ve qualified for aid and how much of it when the concerned team reaches out to you via email! Congratulations on getting accepted and good luck with the aid❤️
Hi! The course is a lot of hard work, especially initially but from what I’ve heard from seniors, it gets better and more enjoyable with time. There are some really good professors too and Psychology in general is a very popular major and minor choice at Ashoka! Hope this helps :)
@@shataksheekar It is near to my home but I was not aware of it's admission procedure😔 I think this university has very high fees. Can you pls make a video on it?
Starting this year Ashoka university is offering merit based scholarships for STEM majors. Moreover, financial aid is an option open to all students. If you’re really interested to apply then you could read about both these things on the Ashoka Website. Round-1 of applications for the incoming batch have been opened. Best wishes!
Hello dear, I'm ur neighbour 😎, I mean neighbour university 😁. So, i wanna ask u that what's u think about ur course... Faculty... Time table... Bcz we have very hectic schedule 😒... That's all ... And congratulations ...!
We are asked to declare our prospective majors for the purpose of finishing the application. You can always pursue something different from what you mentioned as you don’t have to declare your final major as soon as you reach college. The first semester and for many even the second semester are entirely dedicated to foundation courses that expose you to various different disciplines.
The selection process at Ashoka is quite competitive, it helps to have community service experience and also having the skills to express yourself well through the essays that you need to write for one of the steps in the admission process.
Ashoka offers BA and BSc degrees. You are free to choose subjects that a B TECH degree would comprise however, there is no provision of a conventional B TECH degree.
