Hello! sorry for the late response. Ashoka looks at your grades, essays, extracurricular activities, score on their aptitude test and analyses all this holistically. If one aspect of your profile is a little weak, you can work on the other things to have a fighting chance :)

Hi, if you have a good profile : extracurricular activities, volunteering experiences etc. and submit good essays for the application process, perform well in the Ashoka aptitude test and give a decent interview, you would still be able to make it! Ashoka has a holistic approach. Yes, marks matter but you can make up for it by doing well in these aspects. Hope this helps!

I'm from dps only and yes I agree especially with the bus fees... After Covid the fees for bus is nearly 5k-6k even for like 2-3 km...and bfore Covid it was like 2k

Hi! Most of the questions will be based on the discussion of what you wrote in your application. They could additionally ask you things that you’re interested in, any fun thing that you read lately, what is your opinion about xyz and more. With the opinion questions, more than your opinion itself they are trying to gauge if you can take a stand and defend it. If you believe in it, your confidence will show it. Sometimes the interview can be even more casual (in terms of topics explored). It’s just a regular chat. Try not to feel intimidated and let them see your authentic self. All the best!

@ruruth-oh4sp hello, I can’t say certainly but maybe they do. It’s the last stage of the application process that determines if you will secure your admission. However, Ashoka has always said that they view every profile holistically so I believe that each component has equal value.

Hi! I am unsure of people having 100% waivers to whom I am close to. However, I do know people who have received substantial fee waivers and I know that there are people who have received even 100% financial aid. I don’t think it’s tough to get admission if you need financial aid but your financial situation will decide how much aid you’re eligible for. Other than that you should just have a good, well-rounded profile that Ashoka looks for! Hope this helps :)

@@KrishtiPandey-dz7lk The teachers are okay some of them do have a bad temper but overall I have never had a bad experience with any of the teachers

@@KrishtiPandey-dz7lk We do have various extracurricular activities in school and also sports. The school is currently under construction to turn it into a full AC school although it will probably be finished after my graduation 😅

@Salisbury875 the girls are just thinking that's why their skirt is short. Also it is mandatory to wear cycling shorts under your skirt. Plus our school girls have dignity and don't go around showing stuff to people.

Hi! Most of the faculty is great. In terms of strength I think psychology is the third most popular major at Ashoka. For fee structure I think it would be better if you go through the website and other online sources. Ashoka offers need-based financial aid to everyone though. In terms of international connections, Ashoka has tie ups with many universities like LSE, UC Berkeley etc.
