As a Colts fan... I can never quit watching a game early. No lead is safe and no deficit is too large.
Down 38-10 vs Chiefs and 21-0 vs Cincy and won both, but led 22-3 at Baltimore and 33-0 at Minnesota and lost both.
Yupp there was miner fans walking out of bars when they were down 17 they ran back quick
Matt Ryan having those Super Bowl flashbacks during the Colts Vikings game😂 and boy was I glad to see it when I was at this game(colts vikes game and my first time)
I think everyone after 2016 just have to watch the entire game no matter the lead because of you know... the Falcons. LMAO
That Vikings game still pisses me off a little bit, man.
rip colts dynasty for the last couple years (i feel bad for that 33-0 lead, but im a vikings fan lol)

It's joe buck what do you expect
He definitely lost his voice or something in the clip before he was actually kind of excited but he wasn’t very exciting back then

Kirk Cousins being in this video not once, but twice on two different teams with that deep of a deficit. Dude has his some of his best performances in the clutch
Matt Ryan was on this list twice with two different teams as well!
both qbs are great, but theres a reason why brady is the goat. for example, he beat the titans in a heavy snowy game 59-0. that says everything.

The eagles comeback vs the giants is still unreal. 4 touchdowns in the final 7 and a half minutes. Not to mention the winning td being a punt return as time expired.
Makes it even worse for Giants fans that A) The HC told the punter to kick the punt out of bounds to prevent this exact thing (this is why he’s seen yelling at the punter after the return) and B) The loss prevented the Giants from making the post season that year.
In Chiefs vs Bills it gives 3 or 4 TD's in 2 Minutes
Vick probably just pretended the giants were dogs really gives him an incentive to beat them then
@@owainraysor5108who was really at fault? The snapper sent the ball high with Matt Dodge having to leap up off the ground to prevent it going over his head( and possibly into the endzone for a safety) and DeSean Jackson dropped the ball, had to turn around to retrieve it, and still managed to score.
@@davidmeaney7152still the punter, jump snaps happen all the time. punters still get it off.
The wildest thing about that Vikings comeback is that all the points scored in the comeback were based off of pure offensive talent and grit. Don’t get me wrong, the defense was impressive with ONLY giving up THREE POINTS in 2 quarters, but to have only offensive scores to get that comeback is incredible.
That is the Kirk difference. Ordinary QBs don't do that. Kirk is on a different level.
@@varunvallury3499 fr 🔥🔥🔥 Kirk made the difference in so many of those games last yr. Hate that he’s out for the season. Seems like Dobbs is gonna do well holding the spot for Kirk until he gets better tho, which I’m happy about.

@@Johnhargrove18The Vikings had a bottom 3 defense in 2 of the 3 last seasons.
@@YourUpperLip1 it’s not like Kirk is putting up elite offenses. Kirk also had a top 5 d in 2018 and missed the playoffs. Maybe if Kirk was putting up 30 like brees was but he isn’t. Kirk led offenses are mediocre at best
That onside kick by the Eagles was executed perfectly. Unfortunately, the new onside kick rules for the 24-25 season completely kills the unpredictability aspect.
Sucks ….they continue to ruin the game

43:21 I was at this game. It was my very first Vikings game. Almost left at halftime when we were down 33-0 but my conscience told me to stay, plus I was with my mom side of the family and boy am I glad I didn’t leave. From what I’ve heard people were still trying to get back into the stadium when we tied it up(although I can’t say for sure to this day if the people that left ever got back in), even the local news people were talking about it too.
With that said, it was my first game, and definitely not my last, but was almost gonna be my last. Oh, and I got an NFC North champ’s hoodie The next day
Edit: I could probably say that Matt Ryan had those SB51 flashbacks afterwards
I was there too! Go vikes
Let that be a lesson don’t ever leave until the fat lady sings
I said something to my friend when we were up 33-0 and this fcker says "you never know, they could come back". Then these fckers pull off the greatest comeback in NFL history.
I mean, who looks at a football score that's 33-0 and thinks "they can comeback still"?
The fact that they said this and then they pull it off still haunts me.

@@leviticusdwaynehinglemccri1065Come on, I'm a Packer fan and even I know you're supposed to say "SKOL".
Joe Buck had to have been sick bc there’s no way the reaction to Calvin Johnson mossing 3 dudes for a TD is “jump ball. touchdown.” 5:12 😭

I love the Bills/Bengals highlights at the beginning where the analysts were imitating Gus Johnson they were outstanding
Go Bills 🦬
The funny thing about the Browns comeback in 2014 is that game was week 5 and in week 1 the Browns were down 27-3 on the road to the Steelers, came back to tie it and then lost on a last second field goal. They almost pulled off 24 and 25 point comebacks in 2 of their first 4 games
I remember that one. The face-kick game when AB kicked the punter in the face. I pointed at the screen and said "that sums up the game so far." Then came the magical "hurry up offense" and Pittsburgh couldn't keep up. Unfortunately Cleveland got tired from all the fast offense and all the Steelers had to do was jog down the field and get the free FG. Still got me excited for the season, even if that season was a disappointment in the end.
@@tfofgaming3413I’m not a Browns fan (Patriots) but I do remember that 2014 season with Mike Pettine as their head coach and I really thought they were going to make the playoffs that year when they were 7-4 and in position to win the AFC North that year. Then everything just fell apart on them and it led to a decline for a few years afterwards but at least the playoff drought finally got broken in 2020 and they made the playoffs in 2023 as well. Looks like bare minimum they have the stability with their head coach Kevin Stefanski and GM Andrew Barry.

Vikings win over the Colts was 3 days after my Dad passed away. It felt like he had a hand in that comeback.
But that first half you must of thought this insult to injury. I know I went and did work at half time in was watching it on and off the 2nd half.

No joke, my dad died 3 days after this game.
Womp womp
19:51 you can see in the bottom line, the Jags had a 24pt comeback the same week as that redskins 24pt comeback. Unreal
Slight correction: they blew a 24 point lead but were able to get the winning touchdown to hold on and win. Funny enough, that game was in London
Kirk Cousins was a part of 2 comebacks w/2 different teams; To me, it proves he's a winner! 🏈
Cousins threw a 3-yard pass on 4th and 8 with the WR totally covered. He has won one playoff game in 12 years.

i was at that 2013 AFC wild card game against the chiefs. so happy i didnt leave when it was 38-10. best game ive ever been to in my life to this day. andrew luck was special.

That Luck comeback will forever be legendary. Sucks we couldn’t see him play longer
Dear god I’m sure the falcons are still feeling it after the 28-3 Super Bowl comeback
Crazy how we talk about the offense making a comeback but rarely does someone credit the defense unless they score. Holding a team to multiple 3 and outs so your offense can come back is awesome
That Redskins game is what really made me a fan of the team. I remember I was watching it at the batting cage, and I pretty much gave up when they went up by 24. We turned on the radio on the way home, and I was so surprised.

RIP DT 88💙🧡
Last Season for Minnesota is one of the wildest seasons a team has ever had. 9 come from behind victories, the double-doink to beat NO in London, the game in Buffalo with possibly the greatest catch of all time on 4th-18, the fumble recovery in the end zone with 30 seconds left, buffalo comes right back and ties it, and Minnesota wins with an OT interception, the crazy comeback against Washington, and this game. Finished 13-4 having the #10 scoring offense and the 31st ranked defense and had a negative point differential. It’s as if the season was just purely run on luck/magic.
Even as a Colts fan it was tough to watch the collapse last year. I will say when you said the points and defense ranks. In my opinion there are a lot of similarities between the 2022 Vikings and the 2012 Colts
In 2012, the Colts drafted Andrew Luck and they went 11-5 on the year. No they did not win the division like Minnesota and instead were a wild card team. However in their 11 wins, 9 of them were decided by a single possession with 7 of them coming on 4th quarter come from behind victory. Like Minnesota, they finished with a negative in points allowed (-30) and football outsiders calculated that 2012 Colts team as the worst team to go 11-5
And yet the luck ran out in the Wild Card game against the Giants.
The season did not rely on luck or magic. It relied on an insane offense.
Amusingly enough, no one bothers to recognize the season before with a positive point differential and quite a negative season
@@connorfrederixon7508 As a Vikings fan, even then I didn't really trust the offense in a high pressure moment. Even in that BUF game they failed to score a winning TD twice inside the 2-yard line. I knew it wouldn't last into the playoffs.

The game would be bad
Would’ve still won the north I think
@@bradenjohnson4861idk
@@GodlessFiendprobably and the Colts would have been the first team to have 2 ties in the same season
Wouldn’t be the first time the Vikings did that then lol. In 2018 week 2 cousins and the Vikings fought back from being down 20 points I think and it went to OT cuz Vikings kicker Daniel Carlson was terrible at that time and missed 3 straight kicks to win the game.
Edit: 2018 week 2 at Packers
Gus Johnson is a legend. How could the Giants not be ready for the onside kick up 14 with 7 min left? 😭 😭
That eagles giants game will ALWAYS give me chills and always be my favorite comeback of all time.
That catch from Edelman at 25:32 was the best catch ive ever seen in a scenario like that. probally the best catch of all time or one of the best.
Eagles comeback and Vikings comeback are unbelievable, I remember watching the Vikings one, insane. It’s also crazy that Big Kirko was in this video twice
Its always awesome to see Vick play. Not only was the dude fast AS FCK, he had a fckin rocket for an arm too.
One thing I think is important to acknowledge is the growth of Joe Buck. He was the most boring, unenthusiastic commentator in the NFL for a long time. But since joining ESPN (and maybe his last year with FOX), it’s like something changed in him. He’s a blast nowadays. I think Joe and Troy are my favorite current duo, if I’m being honest. Although I do enjoy Mike T and Cris a lot. But I know most people disagree on that one lol
Oh man, do I remember that Ravens Colts game. Damn we played our hearts out that night.
Man… as a pats fan, Super Bowl 51 was one of the greatest days of my life. FKN AMAZING, I wish I could relive it again
I’m a bengals fan even though we lost the sb I want to re live that 2021 season again knowing we won’t be good for a long time agaib
I was there I was in tears at half time. It was the lowest to highest time in my life. I was always worried about getting both 2 point conversions. Also after watching it later saw how Atl choked after Jones great catch all they had to do was run it up middle three times and kick a field goal. Crazy crazy time
Patriot fan for life
Man, going from Gus Johnson to Joe Buck is like going from Cocaine to Heroine lmao
Anyone else feel old re-living these games from the early 2010's? Just me? 😂
that play by Luck at 13:01 is one of the most impressive plays I have ever seen. with the full context of that game, if that's a turnover that could have instantly derailed Indy's comeback momentum. Instead it only adds more fuel to the fire, absolutely brilliant
This was a great edit. Thanks
I was at a bar with friends and some Cowboys fans were really letting us hear it when they were up 27-3 on the Lions. By the end, the 19 year old kid in the group was nearly in tears and had to be held back by his dad from fighting 4 grown men. We all had a good laugh at his expense. A truly great football Sunday.

I'm a Texans fan and I can tell you that the chiefs didn't come back against us, they just took the 1st quarter off.
The Marcus Mariota comeback was a good one and I'm not a Titans fans
So the Lions came back down 3 to 27 against the Cowboys in 2011 to win 34 to 30 against the Cowboys. Tony Romo threw so many interceptions that after game he was upset that he threw down his helmet, but it too was picked off and ran back for a touchdown.
Aikman with two pick-6s in the same quarter, and a team up 24 - 0 and never scoring again is wild. The Chiefs 38-10 lead ending up a loss was pre-Mahomes playing and Pre-Brady retiring. There's no way the NFL would allow that now.
It’s amazing the disrespect the Jaguars get… how are we not on here from last year’s multiple comebacks including the one in the playoffs
Because last year the largest one was 33 points not 27

As a Chargers fan, it’s weird seeing Philip Rivers on the right side of a comeback victory.

These video shows how much the game has changed just over the last decade. Before if you were down 24 points it was normally halftime and if you wanted to come back it was gonna take you the rest of the game to do it. The Chiefs Texans game is a perfect illustration of how much Mahomes has changed the game. They were down 24-0 after just the first quarter and by halftime they had the lead. That's something completely unheard of before Mahomes entered the league. He influenced the league as a whole too. Look at the Vikings Colts game. Vikings were down 33, up to that point no one had ever came back from such a defecit...but not only did they come back they actually would have won in regulation if not for multiple errant calls by the officials. Points just get out up at stuff
Points just came at an unprecedented rate nowadays*** my phone autocorrect the sentence lol
Mike vick was special!
The Colts gotta be ashamed of themselves to lose that game when winning 33-0.
They has the refs on their side too 😮
People want to blame QBs and the offense for these comebacks, but unless they're turning the ball over something fierce, it's not on them. The defenses need to do their jobs. Tampa Bay in 2021 had a 35-3 halftime lead on the Bears, and they only put up a single FG the entire 2nd half. But they still won 38-3. And it wasn't because of Brady and the offense that they held on, it was because the defense shut Chicago out.
Michael Vick was built different
philadelphia eagles michael vick had crazy aura
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman ought to be released for monotone commentary in the Lions comeback. Calvin Johnson mossing 3 guys and then later fade route in endzone while being thrown on his back...
As a Chief's fan, I can admit that if you're up 21 - 3 and you can't even get into field goal range and kick a field goal in an entire half to win the game, you probably don't deserve to win but remember when Jeff Triplette made one of the worst calls of all time and said that Mariota's forward progress was stopped on a clear sack fumble. Pepperidge Farm remembers.
