Thank you for reminding us to leave space between the blooms. I see so many overstuffed arrangements. Truthfully, there's no form - just jamming as many expensive flowers as possible in a vase.

Sorry for the delay in writing back - we've been exhibiting at many floral art events - There are 3 'How to make' books, 1/Wire Manipulation, 2/Festive Winter Designs and the latest book - 3/Living Vases, Screens and Structures. The best seller by far is '50 Techniques Used in Contemporary Floral Designs' - However it is not a 'How to make' book - It does show you want all the different recognised techniques look like (50 of them) when used in design using 70 different designs - and there is some explanation - However as you are new to this subject - it is worth considering that is NOT a 'How to Make' There are 2 booklets that show making side placements and containers - when I am on stage demonstrating Flower Designs I was often asked for handouts, the booklets were created in answer to these requests with booklet 1 having 15 different designs and booklet 2 having 18 designs; 20 pages each That's a quick summery - there's more about each on my website A better option for you at this stage might be - and it is free -to visit my website where I have more free flower arranging lessons - www.gillmcgregor.com/free For price of books.
