Only God knows how much I love Jaguars
It is nice to hear the price, tks
When are the "All EQs at noon just a little bit of reverb" T shirts coming out? I'm tired of waiting Norm & Mark!
IT FINALLY CAME OUT!
@@geraldhiggens8283 but it says AND a bit of reverb not JUST a bit of reverb :(
Great price for great guitar no shame in sharing that Mark! I would see no problem in you sharing prices on these videos honestly it would probably help keep you guys off the phone from these great videos all day! :) I look forward to videos nightly when I get home from a long day at work, you and the crew always show some great guitars and put a smile on my face thanks again!
Missed a perfect opportunity to play Under The Bridge by the RHCP. Same colour Jaguar as John's.
nah... his was darker green. Sherwood I think. Also I don't think Under the Bridge was played on his Jaguar, except for maybe the intro.l
Ive learned People who are really good guitarist when playing bar chords they keep the index finger over all the strings even when the root of the chord has lower notes they are also strummed. As a self taught musician i didnt think you would've needed to bar the whole fretboard if the root note was on the 5th string. Now after substantial practice I had found that my favorite players had said that they play all the notes because it has more dynamics and ads to the sustainability and sound.. love learning from the greats. Thanks Scott Murawski a great American guitarist from Mass.
what video do I watch after 2 weeks in a mental hospital? Norms rare guitars of course!
why were you in a mental hospital?
Because his mind broke down as he could not comprehend the fact that he will never be able to afford any of these guitars...and what does he do right after he gets over it? HE WATCHES ANOTHER VIDEO!! :D (Disclaimer: This is just a joke and in no way related to real mental health issues some people suffer from.)
We are all Bozo's on this Bus.
tyvm Firesign.................................
As soon as i got out, i wanted to go right back in
He ditched the leather jacket for the denim, didn't he? You internet haters look what you done!
allrain never
my goosh this is some kinda cool rendition of give it away
And... the natural Jazzmaster is still there? ARE YOU PEOPLE ASLEEP?! GO GET IT! IT'S AWESOME.
Gongasoso I looked on the site and its not there
Yea. I couldn't find it either. How much was it?
DAMN! I love that version of Walk Don't Run!
Today is the greatest... DAAAAAYYYYYYYY
all eq's at noon, just a little bit of reverb...oh yeah! I'm finally current on these and have really enjoyed binge watching GOTD. Thanks Mark and Norman's
Smashing Pumpkins Today! I love this jag!
You're giving my age away with that "Pipeline" thing. Love it.
Nice selection of songs that fit that guitar perfectly. Pretty good sounding.
A punk rock masterpiece. I'd rather have one of those than the reissue or a collector's. Love the Player Grade Stock!!!
That price was a steal!
i hate to point this out but i think the neck pickup on this jag was at some point changed to cus its different from the bridge as the pole pieces are staggered on the neck then on the bridges flat pole pieces
I love this Jaguar and everything about it. It's a shame that I just saw this video almost a year after it was uploaded. That was a rather good rendition of the guitar parts from The Smashing Pumpkins' song "Today". It definitely brought back a lot of memories!
And on that day, history was made. Mark Agnesi demonstrated a Fender offset without shitting on hipsters. They said it couldn't be done... but they were wrong.
That price is a good value for a guitar like that especially pre-cbs, I'm late and it's probably sold!
Every day every time two thumbs down. It seems every day every time same two people come to norms video and give thumbs down. GET A LIFE GUYS!
this is my dream guitar!
Pumpkins! YES!!!
does anyone know what the second song he played was? Great video
Give it Away!
Why would anyone thumbs down these vids, just dont watch them if you cant appreciate them
I'm Chris from France and i anjoy watching your videos. Great videos of Mark Agnesi.
Whohooo, Mark unleashed the salesman inside him! Love the Pumpkin lesson. :-)
today was the greatest since you played today with one of my favorite guitars
What an awesome finish on a Jag!
Great demo!!! Perfect songs. That thing is a steal. Get some!!!
Is he the guy in the gibson video?
looks just like the vintage modified squier jag
Henry Schecker I really like the look of those. Matches the Jag perfectly.
I just got that model I love it
Henry is Rad I just recently got one in candy apple red. Easily my favorite guitar I’ve owned, it was totally worth 400
..except for the DECAL.
Henry Schecker I was thinking the same thing. Glad someone else notices that too.
Alright, I don't wanna start this again, but I think this is SURF GREEN!!!
Big fan of the videos Mark & it's cool to hear you playing a bit longer on the recent ones.
WOO WOOOOOOOO
Omfg if only I knew about this 4 months ago
Had one once before - really liked the short scale - fun to play.
today is the greatest
Last time I was this early my mom had a hangar fishing me out
That refin is vibrant. Dig it
I would love to see an Ampeg Dan Armstrong Lucite guitar, those are very cool. If you have one It would be cool to see in a guitar of the day episode.
Love the sound
'wow'
Great stuff keep up the fun stuff
Liking this vid for two reasons. Sweet guitar and playing some Pumpkins tunes!!!
I love it. Nuff said.
Love that you finally shared the price, especially since your pointing out player grade. However, how can you play SP on anything but a hard tail strat?!?!
in the 90s the jaguar and the jazzmaster were popular guitars for that type of music.
What were the songs that Mark played? I recognise the first and third one the most but sort of recognise the second as well.
1st song was "Walk Don't Run" by the Ventures
2nd song was "Give it Away" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers
3rd song was "Today" by Smashing Pumpkins
Jonathan Vaudreuil Thanks man.
Walk Don't Run by the Ventures was first, Give It Away by the Chili Peppers was the second, Today by the Smashing Pumpkins was the Third.
1. Walk don't run The Ventures
2. Give it away Red Hot Chili Peppers
3. Today The smashing pumpkins
I think Mark knows every song ever writen on guitar
This is the dopest one in a while. At that price? Sick.
Great color.
Rare jag i wanna see: 1966 block inlaid tortoiseshell guard. CBS jags changed to black guards a couple years in so its a very rare. Fender japan have enjoy block inlays for a few years but its starting to appear on Squiers here. if the 60 anniversary jazzmaster was any indication the 60 anniversary jag is probably gonna have blocks too.
Saying that, the bridge pickup may have won me over.
а можно ещё видео от этого парня? виртуоз! так захотелось ягуар!
Today is the greatest.........
Player grade instruments are great.
Mark, we all know your opinion on new Gibson USA models. But what are your thoughts on how Fender is going? And what about Gibson Memphis models? Thanks, love your videos!
I would soak that tone at the Smashing Pumpkins bit with so much phasers...
Also, it is missing the bridge mute
GREAT PRICE FOR THE RIGHT STUFF
Today is the greatest...
"Why would you buy a new one when you could buy an old one" but seriously would you guys rather have this one or a brand new one? I think the Johnny Marr one is pretty cool with all the changes he made to it and I think its around $1,800 if I'm not mistaken
why is it when he plays Jags. he always bypasses the rhythm circuit?
Give it away
You sure that's the Hot Rod Deville and not a Marshall MS-2. Sounds thin man.
thats a sweet Jag
I am looking at the pickups and the neck pickup appears to have staggered poles...while the bridge appears to be flat. I read somewhere that they didn't start staggering the poles on Jags until 64 and you said this is a 62. Do you know any more information about when they began staggering the poles than what I read, or is the information off?
nice dark rosewood fretboard!
I like Surf Green but prefer Daphne Blue, GOOD VIDEO!
That is sweet
hey mark, you should do a fender bass VI sometime
Can't be a 62 if the pickups have staggered poles, which they clearly do. That didn't start until 63.
souvlakiss it's been refinished and new pick guard, also been refretted, who's to say that the pickups haven't also been changed
yep, and look at the headstock, it's the CBS style big headstock
all jags have that headstock lol
Love the color but Fender's original color charts called it "Foam Green" (no "Sea" to be seen). Nowadays, "Sea Foam Green" is what everybody says.
The addition of Sea is probably something Fender made up in the early Custom Shop days. A 1960's Ditzler color chart has it as Foam Green #41940.
Thanks, Ernesto. Perhaps you're right.
The pole pieces on that neck pickup look staggered - I believe all the '62s had flat polepieces. Hard to tell from the video, but it looks like the bridge pickup might have flat poles. That and the two different colours on the pickup covers makes me suspect that the neck pickup is not original.
That surf green ...
Can we go back to these prices?! Lol
I wonder how many guitars Mark personally owns and what they are.
I'll be there soon.. Bender
That with a matching headstock and humbuckers.. Pretty much my dream guitar
Damn, i want it
Nice now i want a seafoam color and not a metilac blue
how can it be a 1962 if it has the post 1965 CBS headstock? unless the neck was replaced?
What are Fender thinking? Yup, go for the vintage stuff. Sounds like a steal to me/.
the voice of this thing is the same as my squier vm jaguar
Is that the lighter surf green or sea foam green which if I'm not mistaken is a shade darker than surf green.looks like surf green
Glenn Nicolassy it's sea foam green. Remember it's a fresh refin so it hasn't had the nitro yellow over the top of it with age and UV exposure so it will appear a different colour to an original vintage sea foam green one.
how about a classic tackamine for flat top friday
What’s that first song he played?? Thanks!
Isnt this Surf Green?
No, sea foam green. One of my favourite colors.
Surf green is just a tad bit lighter
I always thought surf green was born out of sonic blue being yellowed to that color green. Sonic Blue has that grey in it that mellows out the surf green so it's not as in your face. If you ever see like a Jagstang that has aged it's a great surf green color.
What is he playing at 4:00 sounds amazing
HugeBoyMino smashing pumpkins
Give it Away
question: are the pickgaurd pieces all put togethrr the same size as a jazzmaster pickgaurd
Jag bodies are slightly smaller than Jazzmasters. So possibly not
Jag-U-are .....haha. But, yeah, sounds just like my sunburst '63 that's 100% stock.
show a travis bean please.
Hell of a good deal for that baby. Of course you would definitely want to replace the bridge with a Mastery Bridge almost immediately but other than that it's a WIN !
cool
how much would it be listed for now damnm
whats that first song tho??
Give it away was groovy af
