Just purchased this vehicle through an auction. Surprisingly at 170k miles still runs great. Only issue has been a hard steering issue i believe now is the steering pump. More to come. Thanks for the clip. Nice job.

Lots of good advice. Thank you. Unfortunately I'm in the middle of this job.

To anyone doing this job, using a small 1/4 ratchet to get those hard to reach bolts out is the way to go.

I was wondering if there is any way to replace the pulley only

If you could find a pulley.... I'd think you might still have to remove the pump in order to change out the pulley, good luck.

Your steering leak was likely causing belt to slip alternator

the steering leak was after I replaced the alternator. The alternator was found to be defective. Thanks for commenting.

The pump was making quite a bit of noise when steering....

I have a very long list of issues and things I replaced but when the denso reman alternator died again after I replaced it 2 years ago, that was the last straw.... I couldn't bring myself to sell this lemon to anyone so I donated it to the local tech college auto program and replaced that murano with a 2009 honda accord.... lol
