"The Yiippe festival was conceptualized in 2008 by staff and young people involved in different groups and projects under the umbrella of Tipperary Regional Youth Service (TRYS). The young people were asking where the Tipperary Town festival had gone, which had an excellent reputation and they craved a festival of a similar nature,"
Tipperary Youth Information is situated at 17 Bank Place , Tipperary Town and is co-ordinated by Pauline Strappe with support form FAS and Rural Social Scheme workers. Youth Information are involved in a huge variety of services; from guiding young people on how to get into the workforce, to student council training as an outreach service to schools.
