@Miles to Memories 17:24 The change in earnings is not about whales but about Vegas travelers (whales & regulars) realizing that strip casinos are becoming too greedy with their terrible games (triple zero roulette, tight slot machines, 6 to 5 blackjack) and terrible loyalty programs with harder to earn comps & worsening rewards. These numbers are much worse than you think: Tropicana closed down but it was not bringing much gambling revenue. However Fontainebleau opened this year, has a packed casino yet the numbers are STILL down from last year! This means that the rest of the strip is likely having a 4-6% decrease in gambling revenue! Meanwhile downtown has continued to offer great games (double zero roulettes, 3 to 2 blackjack), provides more comps than ever & has maintained the services offered by its loyalty programs, which is why it is showing a massive increase in gambling revenue! It is likely that more people are now choosing to gamble in downtown instead of the strip for the reasons I mentioned.

Its quite the opposite: Caesars is selling assets because it is broke & has a cash problem. Recall that Caesars is a management company & most of the hotels under its umbrella are owned by other companies. Caesars is just renting. For instance, it pays 1 million per day for Caesars Palace & 87 million per year for Harrahs. Caesars, by itself, does not hold many assets. A company uses assets to borrow, and Caesars is selling some of its biggest assets like candy which means that it may start to have difficulty securing loans in the future. To make matters worse, Caesars just sold an asset that was generating a stable revenue: one that it could have used to pay for its liabilities.
The reason for having to get rid of the name "TheQuad" was very specific. In Chinese culture four or "quad" is the least lucky number in the world, especially for Asian gamblers. They went from Imperial Palace, good, to the Quad, bad. Asian visitors quickly went elsewhere.
It’s not a Ferris Wheel, it’s an observation wheel. Ferris wheels were originated in Roodhouse, Illinois, and are the county fair type rides with open seats that hold two or three people.
The original “Ferris” wheel (named after its creator) was built for the Chicago World’s Fair, also called the World’s Columbia Exposition of 1893. It had what were essentially train passenger cars, holding up to 24 people. What we think of as Ferris wheels now with the small 2 or 3 passenger seats came much later.
What about if you want to use your Caesars reward credits in a Caesars own property in the link promenade what happens now? Can you still use them at Gordon Ramsay's fish? Or are you not allowed to use reward credit points since Caesars doesn't own the link Promenade anymore?
Ask ANYONE how the slots have been paying recently. I REALLY question the ~ 95 % ish payback. Waitress service gets worse while playing slots gets worse every trip and if it's busy forget about it, maybe get service every hour We are cutting down to one six night LV trip a year and so many people we meet say they are also cutting back

I’ve been saying for awhile, Caesars Entertainment is in trouble. Caesars Entertainment reported $598M in Interest Expense on Debt for its fiscal quarter ending in September of 2024. Servicing their debt can’t go on forever.
I used to be a Caesars stockholder due to holding the stock of the company that merged with them. The company that acquired Caesars came from being a small racetrack-casino company that grew through merging with other casino companies. With each merger they took on more debt so the Caesars of today really is not like the Caesars of several years ago. I sold my stock at a nice profit due to my having bought the old racetrack-casino company at realitivly low prices. People who have bought Caesars recently are buying into a heav debt burdened company that has been loosing money partly to the large debt and lease obligations on the properties they own. That is why they are analyzing and selling assets that they feel are not core operations and can be sold to help meet their debt obligations. At some point the company may have problems finding enough properties to sell at high enough prices to help especially if the economy slows down and people come less frequently and spend less at the casinos they will still hold!
1) Swag is free stuff advertising something else, merch is stuff you buy with advertising on it.2) Stayed at Imperial Palace and Linq but don’t remember any time it was called The Quad. Must have missed visiting Vegas during that period.
Caesar's needs to sell some of their casinos so they can't run them into the ground like they did to Rio. Rio is multiple times better off now. I think you guys are better off without subscribers that can't handle the truth (cue Jack Nicholson) about putt-putt golf. 🤣
But seriously folks, I cant bring myself to pay those ticket prices months out to try to beat a sell out. But having looked into the Sick New World festival in April and the Reddit thread on it, it seems it is fairly common for the show to sell out but then so many not able to go that in the last week tickets are available for far less. Hopefully this festival would be the same. While I can't see myself buying tickets a half year to a year out and then planning a trip, I can see myself planning a trip that bridges the dates anyway, then looking for reasonable price tickets the week of.
I miss the days when a singer walked out and sang their songs and it didn't cost a fortune to see them. I could live without all the pyrotechnics and backup dancers. Mark is fine... he's the yin, to Sean's yang. It is PUTT PUTT.

The key is they all have talented singers that come out that you don't have to formally buy a ticket to see. 🥰
The Quad was renamed because of its association to the number 4 which is an unlucky number in many Asian cultures, including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, because it sounds similar to the word for "death". Apparently this resulted in a loss of Asian gamblers so they rebranded again and just used The Linqs branding. Probably to save money.
i don't know why you keep crapping on the south end of the Strip. when i started coming to Las Vegas that's the area I stayed and the hotels, pools and casinos were always busy. yes, you don't have that major cluster**** of people crossing (or dangerously crossing) the streets like the mid-Strip area but the south end has thousands of hotel rooms that get filled up and the people don't always head towards the mid area.

Putt-putt from Louisiana
Thinking of starting a drinking game. Take a shot every time they say “stuff like that” or “all that stuff”.
I hope you have fun!
Putt putt is much more fun to say
Agreed!
@@Milestomemories Hey Mark & Shawn, we watch every Tuesday & Friday! Love the show… Y’all on Vacation? We missed Tuesdays Show.
Why can’t they partner with movie theater chain and play Netflix movies?
😅 ain’t no way that dude was so butthurt on Marks jokes. This ain’t the channel for him if he can’t take sarcasm😂
When we were young had me, then I saw Simple Plan and they lost me.
Dani.702 got paddled on one of her last videos...
Haha I have no desire.
It sucks that these real estate speculators tear a building down and then take forever to build a new building.
Sean it is FU1
They should get Kevin Bacon thank you sir may I have another.😊
Putt-Putt is a brand, like Kleenex. All tissues are not Kleenex. All sodas are not Coke. 🙂
I miss the days when a singer walked out and sang their songs and it didn't cost a fortune to see them. I could live without all the pyrotechnics and backup dancers.
Mark is fine... he's the yin, to Sean's yang. It is PUTT PUTT.
There's still a place like that - church! 😂 but even they want money
@@FlyLikeDove you must go to a small church, the bug ones have Starbucks sponsored rock bands.
@@JimboInTheHouse1 I don't personally go to any church on a regular basis, but I've been everything from independent stripmall Pentecostal churches to a mega church in a theater, and they all pass the plate (or have a box) for you to put money in, regardless of who sponsors them. The key is they all have talented singers that come out that you don't have to formally buy a ticket to see. 🥰
You will see the continued reduction of profit and attendance for 2025 as it costs about $30 for a sandwich and drink. Not sustainable
Chinese are too superstitious.
kriss angel made that disappear
Can we spin the slot machine costume and win the jackpot
650 vip package
Putt putt. Night putting
I saw a guy get paddled OMG I was sore just watching it.
The paddlers were busy during my recent visit. Smack after smack.
I don’t think they'd like me as an F F1 reporter!
Chris Angel ✅️
Laughlin ✅️
Haha. All I’d talk about is the carpet!
Enjoy your Tuesday off. What a Tuesday this will be. Folks will be watching election results.
Thank you Fred!

Putt Putt is a lot better than Mini Putt.
i don't know why you keep crapping on the south end of the Strip. when i started coming to Las Vegas that's the area I stayed and the hotels, pools and casinos were always busy. yes, you don't have that major cluster**** of people crossing (or dangerously crossing) the streets like the mid-Strip area but the south end has thousands of hotel rooms that get filled up and the people don't always head towards the mid area.
What, no mention of the A's financing? You guys were negative on this project since the beginning, now that its going to happen you ignore it
It broke after we recorded. Bad timing. Need a little lead time to get the show edited.
And BTW pretty sure I’ve been consistent recently in saying I thought it was going to happen. Didn’t see a way Fisher would allow it to fall through given how much he stands to make. I’ve also made sure to cover the rumors if that’s what you’re talking about so people have the full story. And of course we’ll cover this on our next show. No conspiracies here. 😂
17 easy payments of 17.99
rip bacc their gonna punish those players and take away the tables lol
hey, the guy was PUTT HURT! is it mini golf? who cares!?
👏👏👏👏
I like putt putt, but Mark errs in believing that viewers think he actually knows what he talks about. Always enjoy the show, the awkwardness seems to add to its charm.
Putt-Putt is way better than mini golf
Other than making you sound like a five-year old.
@Scantronimus466 I'm pretty sure adults made these Putt-Putt signs on these Putt-Putt courses
Why only woman being paddled? Lol😂
Haha I didn’t even notice that until I was editing it.
