    CLIP DESCRIPTION:
The Us Girls put on a performance that raises the roof beyond all comprehension.
    FILM DESCRIPTION:
Jon Chardiet plays a Puerto Rican youth who targets subway walls for his graffiti renderings. For a while, it looks as though Chardiet's problems will carry the plotline, but before long the film's true raison d'etre comes to the surface. Rap-music deejay Guy Davis, in tandem with such like-minded individuals as music student Rae Dawn Chong, endeavor to stage a huge breakdancing presentation, featuring several musical artistes of the period. Harry Belafonte served as coproducer.
    CREDITS:
    TM & © MGM (1984)
Cast: Jon Chardiet, Guy Davis, Debbie Dee, Lisa Lee, Sha Rock
    Director: Stan Lathan
Producers: Harry Belafonte, Michael Holman, Mel Howard, David V. Picker
Screenwriters: Steven Hager, Andrew Davis, David Gilbert, Paul Golding

I was born in 1985 so what I was raised on does not constitute what rap and hip hop truly is. Luckily I had people in my life who introduced me to things like this and I know better. And now the new Grio channel is playing movies like this ❤❤❤

plays at the end of this house party scene? It plays for a quick 10 seconds after the rock steady crew exit scene and
during the beginning of the next scene at train station (jumping the
turnstile)? The lyrics hear are: "let yourself go, but hold on to my
