I agree with David. Except that it's not just from the covid bailouts. It's been going on for a long time, just much more viciously since 2008. I hope David was as passionate opposing the socialism that bailed out our financial institutions in 2008 and 2020s as he was about this possible maybe it happens policies to cap prices that Harris has been discussing. Was he?
Yes, free market advocates are generally against the horrendous deficit spending and fed intervention as well. It’s been going on for a long time because of that. That is literally what he is pointing out here, the truth that this is all a result of money printing. Even if some companies are doing better as far as margins, it is still just a function of supply/demand. What do think all of that money creation leads to?
@@MinimalistCapitalist Rhetorical question right? My gripe is that when Kamala talks about a policy that maybe happens maybe doesn't (campaign promises are whatever) David gets very passionate about denouncing government constraints on capitalism! Most passionate I've ever seen him. And I already agreed with him. But then when businesses pervert capitalism and take advantage of socializing programs, seen in the extremes during the financial collapses of 2008/2020 David was much less passionate. More analytical. Was this the best way to go or not? Rubs me the wrong way. You?
I don’t know if you’ve been paying attention, but everyone I know on the left has been claiming this is pure corporate greed and them taking advantage from supply chain issues during covid to price gouge people. They don’t even recognize the money printing at all. There’s a ton of propaganda and populism going on.

Denmark is half the size of NJ population wise and populated by by 86% greenlandic people which is basically a monoculture. you can do things in a tiny monoculture that you can't do in an extremely diverse country of 360 million. that's over 70x larger.
Go and live in Denmark then... then you will understand the difference. Also, how many trillion companies does Denmark have? Or even above than 100 B market cap? IDK, maybe 1. Another thing, combine the free cash in the bank accounts of the Mag7 and you have higher than Denmark's total GDP.
"A society that puts equality before freedom will get neither. A society that puts freedom before equality will get a high degree of both."
that's why women shouldn't vote
Love your podcast, truly the best podcast in the world.

Rent control has worked for Copenhagen, but else no price control
I’ll be very glad if anyone here can assist me with a job. I’m based in Africa and hunger alone is killing me. I’m very good at research. Thanks.🙏
Bullshit, Denmark has the lowest inflation and 50% higher job market, with higher salaries and 6 weeks vacation per year
Did you seriously just compare Denmark to USA?? Are you born stupid or did you have to pass a college course?
Hugely superior medical system.
But hey ho! We're all loaded and fcuk giving any of it away! 😂
