Finally, thank you. You did a great job explaining all the characteristics. You have succeeded where every other video I have found on youtube has failed to educate.

I have several different red elderberry types growing wild on my 3 ackars some are like a Christmas tree shaped bushel of wonderful smelling deep red berries another type is a really weird looking stock with a bunch of different colors and the berry is in a strait line there not red they look about 1/4"diameter and the berry is really dark almost black bugs eat the leaves and the other is eaten by bugs and birds deer apparently love them so can I pick the berries boil them in water strane them add some Suger and drink the juice from them and not get sick or die ?

@@wlcutler You can eat them if you cook them. They are just like the purple, black and blue elderberries. Please do some research.

Pomegranates and raspberryish , cranberryish like flavor to me I just pulled off the berry's put them in a big kettle with the berries covered in water about 1 us gallon of the berries and 1 us gallon of water brot to a boil simmered about 10 minutes strand the berries in my old thermal Long John's legs I tied a knot in the legs squeezed every bit of the juices out and reboiled then snuck in the wife's pantyhose drawer stretch one leg over the mop bucket strand the liquid a few times ended up with about 11/2 US gallons added 2 cups real Suger simmered about 10 minutes while steering put in a couple of empty 1/2 gallon Jack Daniels bottles put in the fridge and I was wondering if it was poisonous still so I ask if this dingling I know down the street if he would like to try out what I had made hahaha he said heck ya is it Good ? Said I'm not sure never made it before it's got Suger and water with berries in it heck man it tastes good ! He said so I waited for a while drank a beer then said want any more please he said asked him if he feels ok he said ya! Aren't you going to have some ? So I said what the hell why not let me tell you all the drink was very yummy but I didn't make enough it's been over a year and the berry is back me and the still living young Man are going to make around 15 gallons then I am going to add some vodka in an ice filled blender and make a slushy + .
