Typing using the Fire Sticks included remote is pretty slow and tedious, because of that many people decide to use a keyboard instead.
Some of you might not know how to setup a keyboard to work with your firestick, so today I show you 3 options that you have for getting a keyboard all setup and functional. I even show you how to use your smartphone as a keyboard!

I have both of these products 😁. How do I now add the Amazon ethernet? Now having issues with making both work at the same time 😔. It's either one or the other that work when changing the connecting order 😭. Anyone?

HI, I have a Bluetooth QWERTY keyboard which I have paired with the Amazon Fire Stick Lite.
The problem is, the Fire Stick displays a box of A - Z alphabet letters and numbers. I would prefer to operate all typing etc with only the QWERTY keyboard, just like with a PC. Are there any internal settings which would allow me to switch the 'letters box' off altogether, please? Guide me to the necessary.

thanks so much the USB adapter cable.. I got this Yagala keyboard with a bluetooth USB dongle and it doesn't have "bluetooth" u can connect to, it works when I connect that dongle into the TV, but not the blueray player.. I ordered that cable you suggested and hope it can let me use the keyboard ... it was my christmas present from my family

Brilliant. Have been looking for a decent keyboard for the fire stick but they all look so rubbish. Stumbled across this video and just paired up my Apple keyboard for when needed and it works a treat. Easy to pair and unpair for when you go back to your IMAC. Perfect! Thank you young man.

I have the adaptor so I can use my ethernet wired network. WIFI is crap. I have the USB adaptor you show in this vid....does work with the Fire ethernet option
A Big Thanks the phone one work it was becoming a pain to type in everything just thought of what if I can do this, now some apps are not downloading on fire stick trying to figure it out
just got a wireless key board and connected it.. I wanted a full size instead of that small one that you recommended it works great making me like fire stick so much more

Ok so that cable was out of stock in my area when I first watched this so I bought the same one but instead of the charger side I got the usb bc it was in stock so I put the cable there and it doesn't work

tried Method number 2 with a USB-Switch, but it doest work. the Fire-TV and my keyboard are both plugged in into the switch.

How do I setup the rii i8 as a game controller to use with fire stick games?? It only syncs as a keyboard and the games don’t work if I don’t have a game controller synced.

I cant get my mini keyboard to pair with my fire stick even after the usb is connected to my fire stick. Now my mini key board does not have a wifi button . I accidently pressed the FN button and it started blinking, but it also stoped controling my fire stck. So i restarted it and its still doing nothing. Help !

I just realized something, the Alexa remote control has a microphone, that's how you can tell her, "Alexa stream the movie _The Devil's Advocate."_ Right? My stick is coming tonight, Amazon's 4K fire stick. I'm going to watch the rest of your video. The one I bought is 3rd generation, maybe the technology has gotten better ?

Yes, I have since switched to the Galaxy Note 9 (an Android phone) and I still use the same app

I have a new Insignia 55 inch Amazon fire TV. I also purchased a logitech k830 TV keyboard. I went through the blue tooth pairing steps - the keyboard was recognized and I was given the notice “device connected” indicting that the key board k830 was now connected. however! When I used any key or the touch pad on the keyboard “nothing” happened! I tried in several of the input locations on the TV and the keys tried did not show anything or movements within the TV screen. What is it I am not understanding on how this is supposed to work?
