@@BestTatay if you wanted the ready processed you try at Japanese or Chinese grocery store there they sell the bamboo leaves powder ready for drinking if you wanted fresh grab a bunch of bamboo leaves boil with 3 cup of water to make one glass juice of bamboo tea

Is this really “propagation”? It seems that it is just digging up the plant, cutting in half and sticking it back in dirt. The only exception being that it went into a pot rather than the ground. I was hoping to learn how to propagate.

In that way you can propagate the belly bamboo.., may be it's not that really perfect but it is effective way to produce more bamboo seedlings
