How to replace the daytime running bulbs on the Audi A4 B8. This car requires 2 sets (4 bulbs in total). The bulbs are P13W and require to push the plastic and pull them out.
Audi Q5 and A4 after facelift (2012-2015) need only 1 set (2 bulbs). Rubber covers are sold separately as not all cars require them.
It took me 1.5 hour when doing it for the first time (and another hour for other side). Please be patient and take your time. Please put some protective tape on the lamp (especially edges) as its easy to scratch it against the car body (I scratched mine when pushing it back in place)
Audi Q5 is much more difficult to get to the bulbs (and to take out the lamps) so please be aware of that.

Hey. Is it not a problem that the cables from the high and low beam are outside? Should not be hidden inside? I know that there is no place, but in my B8 I managed to put them inside. For example, the rain will not make a problem?
Hi, yes if possible try to put them inside, also there are rubber covers for the headlights to avoid water (or any moisture) getting in.

Very usefull tutorial, I’m about to do it friday. Do you find h7 led be less glaring for others than xenon in your headlight housing? I just bought a xenon kit to match running lights color spec and I dont wanna get flashed by everybody. How did you pointed the beam? Maximum down?
Hi, thanks for that. h7 and xenon are separate systems. If you have xenon lights then you won't have h7 (halogen) bulbs. Also the drl's in xeonons are built in (not replaceable) and in halogen headlights they're the P13W as in the video. Thanks

Hi, yes it is 50mm. You can search for '50mm rubber cap' pretty much any of them will fit
The bulb doesnt work, but when i connect it to my car battery it works, why is that ?
Must be some issue with wiring, is everything orignal or replaced? Is it working normally with halogen bulbs?

Hello i got the same car as this ☺ the model colour and even the reg number just 1 letter is different haha so i would like to ask if you change this bulbs the indicator lights will change as well?

Hi, wow what a coincidence - must be from same dealership! the indicators are separate to DRLs but honestly I forgot which bulb type was it. As to the color - LED is only 1 color - usually white. By the law you have to have white lights so if you install blue then it wont pass MOT. You can try buying these P13W bulbs halogen type with 100W they might be a bit blueish. thanks

Bulbs yes, if I dont have one model then you can get other, caps not anymore but please search for '50mm rubber caps' and you can buy universal ones with this diameter.

@@92ejupi69 ciao anch'io avevo sostituito le luci gialle con le p13w ma se metto il selettore a 0 mi rimangono comunque sempre accese....a mio avviso è più corretto come nel tuo caso che col selettore a 0 si spengano...sto dicendo una cosa sbagliata?

they should not flicker, if they flicker then something is wrong with them.

nope, they are working fine on audi A4 without extra resistors

Hi, on the car that is in video you need 4 bulbs (2 for left and 2 for right side). Other ones need usually 2.
