Bobcat in a tree: deer below

- We looked out of the living room window and saw a bobcat chase a squirrel up a tree. Our neighborhood deer were at first alarmed, but soon realized the bobcat was not too quickly coming down from the tree.

I’ve been following you folks for years.
And today I can say I too have deer in the yard. They come daily and I’m very pleased. They actually tolerate my Doberman as she doesn’t bark at them, at all. She’s very smart and knows a threat when she she’s it.

Nice! Yes, deer are very aware of threats. We've seen them almost always on alert or running away when dogs are near, but some dogs they are okay with. That survival instinct is well honed.

Such a beautiful animal..I miss working with mountain lions, lynx, & bobcat .. owls, wolves, bears, elk..@ the zoo where I worked when I was younger... I can't complain, I'm sitting relaxing with my deer as they hey sleep 🥰 Best part of day!

Wonderful footage. I miss seeing the bobcats around mount Shasta and Big Bear when I lived in California. Here where I live in Washington state we've many more lynx and mountain lions vs the bobcats it seems.

That bobcat will take down a adult deer no problem , I've seen a few videos of them doing it. Once the cat latches on s/he don't let go until the deer is dead. It's kinda hard to believe until you see it, it's amazing. Nice catch 😊👍
