Dude....I'm so proud of all the work we all put into this one, especially you. Endlessly grateful for you and stoked to be in each other's corners. ONTO THE NEXT ONE!
WOW! The shots are just breath taking. Great job breaking down the lighting for each scene. Always learning something on your channel. Keep it up Eric!
These breakdowns are so good man. Taking time to really share the creative choices and thought process behind each shot makes it that much better to watch. I love what you said about being more intentional this year and taking more time. Great work from you and the team!
Thank you for the detailed walkthrough about how you accomplished some of these shots! I agree with you completely on the shots you preferred. The vertical shots I thought were especially nice. It certainly took some creativity to make them but the results really show. One thing you exposed was certainly the need for pre-prod ideation and planning, but also your focused investment in time/gear on scene blocking/lighting. . Many folks can be overly focused on the camera itself in narrative filmmaking. But, assuming you have a solid story first, its truly the set(ting), lighting and composition that can provide far more production value (and relatively few will forgive poor sound quality, whereas the image may receive a bit more slack). Definitely shows your thoughtfulness in all of these things - and the challenges which inspired your creativity to surmount them.
Honestly I feel very envious of your work/friend circle. I hope one day to have such a great supportive friend circle to make cool shit together ✌🏼 Inspired.
Oh man I loved this breakdown. Makes me wanna start doing video! First off I approve of the haircut bro! Makes you look like the son of Eric Floberg hahah. Your educational and teaching background really shines in this video...I always learn so much from you...you give good explanations about not only what you do but why you do it and I think that's the mark of an great educator! Happy for all my friends at CCC that get to do this for a living and can't wait for more of these. There's something in the water up there. Love you squad fam!
With mine, you just extend the vertical column it as far as it will go, and on the bottom, there's a button you press in, which pops it up a bit more, and you push it down in the direction of the spot for it to sit at 90 degrees on the head.
I just started watching this short after realizing this here will only spoil it for me... I had this idea of "every youtube user in 2022" that opens up your film in 360 and starts watching it this way even though you've put a lot of work it make it good quality :P kinda what happened to me right now
better Log curve (in my opinion) - I like CLog2 much more than CLog3 - and so much more flexibility in post when editing the actual raw files (exposure/white balance adjustments)
man! as a native Korean, it's a bit cringing for me to watch him speaking Korean lol. However this piece was really great! Love the aspect where it begins cold and finishes in warm, 4:5 ratio gives Arri cam's full sensor vibe.Well done y'all

Loved seeing you break this down! Great job with this one!
This is so helpful. It always seems like witchcraft to beginners, still does, but a little less so now 🤓 Thank you!
Eric you are so creative !! I love your tutorials!! Please do a video about preproduction on Notion and give us the template .
Watched it as soon it was uploaded. The choice to go with Konglish👌 and the new hair 👌 on point
Hopefully I'll have a family one day so I can also take the perfect photo. Great work buddy!
Bro this is so sick watching all the BTS. I love how you captured pouring the water in the jar, and the shot of Gene looking at the polaroid 🤯
Thanks so much for watching!!

The first 14 seconds of this vid were rough but somehow it still tracks because we all get embarrassed by our dads from time to time. Great BTS!
bahahahahah
So good man.
The office reference was the best part of this vid
Hi! Great video and nice tips. What’s the name of the app you use for editing ?
Loving this BTS, very inspirational (for me anyway…) Makes me want to keep on pushing with making my own stuff
SO COOL

"I'm not going down for this." 😂 There's been a murder.
I love this
Great Vid!
This was made so well!! Inspiring man so inspiring🤙🏼💯
Thank you so much!
Hi! This is great. That is all.
Hi. You are great. We love you.
How did you get that tripod neck to 90 degrees for the top down shot? I have a similar tripod so I'm curious if thats possible for me
With mine, you just extend the vertical column it as far as it will go, and on the bottom, there's a button you press in, which pops it up a bit more, and you push it down in the direction of the spot for it to sit at 90 degrees on the head.

You kinda look like Sam Fender with your Gen-Z cut. Also, props to you all on the film. It was a really great perspective 🤟
I had to look up who that was and yeah you aren't wrong
you guys are dope . hope to be able to cross paths with ya'll one day.
if that's gen Z hair consider me Timothee Chalamet
If that's not Gen Z hair, consider me a Victorian kitchen lamp.
@@EricFloberg incredible reference
I’m running at 9:10 to my computer to make this comment… sorry if I’m late though the elevator was out
My young, prophetic friend.
Pubahahhahaha so funny 😂😂😂😂😂
What's the difference/advantage of RAW over LOG?
better Log curve (in my opinion) - I like CLog2 much more than CLog3 - and so much more flexibility in post when editing the actual raw files (exposure/white balance adjustments)
Brother, can you tell me the name and model number of this mic that you have used in this video, please?

This is amazing. But…why is Braxton running 9:08 hahahaha
he wanted no part in that standoff.
I would really like to know how I can upload a video in 4x3 🙏
Just gotta export in that dimension and upload the file! :)
@@EricFloberg knew it had to be that simple haha thanks bro

Thank you! Yeah, his wife said the same haha
No beanie? 😱😂
I know, it's weird looking in a mirror these days.
Eric now kind of looks like the older brother of Sam Fender
Someone else said that too and I had to look it up and y'all are not wrong.
@@EricFloberg I've listened to your Spotify playlist. Sam Fender should match your taste just fine. You should check him out.
Yooo yooo mr floberg its maxi from 7th grade
