Man ppl give film school a bad wrap, but honestly. Going back to school was such a positive impact on me. Before it I was all over the place. After my first class everything changed. Just learning to organize and spend more time on pre production with story boarding and shot lists and scripting really pushed me. And the assignments with deadlines lit a major fire. ❤. Maybe someone should make a channel that makes something and shares the theme 😂.
The rain/cold look was the best decision of all 🙏 beautiful making-of video!
Honestly I'm also really happy I decided to change the weather plan🙌🏼 Rain is just soooo cinematic🤤
the physical sheets of paper in the thumbnail made me click on this one over the others in my search results
Great work. As a fellow filmmaker, I love watching other people's BTS's.
I really like the color of this film, cinematography is very aesthetically cool.
Aww sweet, thanks!🙇🏻♂️
I'm really amazed Teo! I mean, seeing all this, I can already tell that you will become a great filmmaker someday =) (if that is something you plan to be in the future hihi) I don't know much about shooting a short story but man just having an idea like this is wonderful. I just hope we can see more of this in your channel. Good Job!
Thank youuu Hardene!🙇🏻♂️ I'm very happy to read you enjoyed watching - thanks for the kind words🙌🏼🙌🏼
The way you translated your vision into the final product its just amazing , and the small details like the wood in the backpack and the dirt on the headgear are the indicators of a real filmmaker, waiting for your next masterpiece 👊
Thank you Kristian!🙇🏻♂️🙌🏼🙌🏼 Yeees all the little things add up to one big thing :)
I’m going to make my first short film, I feel so nervous, because I have no experience about filming. Thank you for your helpful information. I wish you have more brilliant films. 👍
Wow i like the cinematic look
Yeee thank you!🙌🏼🙌🏼
super useful for people not making films and even as a film maker its helpful😀
I think this series will really help me with creating short films!
already subscribing you hahaha I love watching short films about everything!!
Aesthetic just posted a new video!
Uuhhh that'd be amazing - I really hope the next videos can also somehow help you🤩🙌🏼🙌🏼
This is so great. Not only are your skills on point for the short that you so effectively took us through each stage, but the production of this video itself. You are very talented!
This was awesome! Definitely inspired me
Ahh sweet, happy to know that - thank you!🤗
I can’t even imagine getting to go to college for this stuff
Oh man, I laughed so hard when it came to painting 😃
Two things, this sort of plastic definitely requires a primer, as paint won’t stick to that smooth service for long. And scuffing it up before primer is what you should do. But for a single day shoot you’ll be fine.
The biggest laugh I had was seeing you spray on one spot trying to cover it.
The clue for a good paint job (don’t they have craft class in schools in Austria? Where they teach wood working, soldering, basic dui?) is to pass back and forth. Over the whole prop. And repeat that until it’s covered. Don’t hose on the same area, that will cause drippies and give a very uneven paint job.
Oh and one more tip for prop making. Get some styrene sheets they are cheap and those cardboard spikes could’ve been done with styrene and the last a lot longer and easier to paint too.
But the film idea was brilliant in its simplicity.
one word : genius
Aww thank you!🥺
thanks for this, will help my short film making a lot
This is great info about making films. Thanks for the awesome video.
It's really nice to see the in-depth process of making the final output. And I must say the team effort and days of preparation paid off.
Yeees, happy to read you enjoyed watching the behind the scenes🙌🏼🙌🏼
So cool. Loved watching the process

I love seeing how others come up with their ideas and costumes,…
Great work! This turned out incredibly good!
Just subbed so I might find a video like that on this channel when I go through them but do you happen to have a video talking about film school or what it is like? I’m currently debating whether I should go to film school because filmmaking is my dream and passion or study graphic design and try doing sth with graphic design for movies…
This was dope
5:44 Don't know how I picked up on this but you're incredibly intelligent for turning your head away, making the autofocus focus on the object. Props to you haha
He is one of those guys whose voice doesn't match their face.

Great film
Thank you!🥺
Good video. It is good to know how did you manage to make that masterpiece.
Thank you! Glad you could enjoy it!🙇🏻♂️🙌🏼🙌🏼
which camera did you use to film this? I have a pending project too but cant find the right camera.
Great 👍
How/Where do we find the best cameras to suit our films? Do people buy them? Rent them?
Depends... I shot this with my personal camera, but at the moment I'm shooting a project with an Arri Amira, which is rented, because those are unaffordable😅
With what lens did you shot the short film?
You need to make contact with some local body painters and prop builders. Then you can do the story/cinematography side of things. One of my best mates is all about props. Don’t rely on him for the photos or story though.
Stick to your thing.
love your videos 😄
Sweeeet, thank you😍🙇🏻♂️
🔥
🤘🏼🤘🏼
Do you have the template for the storyboard as seen in min 9:20?
Hugeeee like 🔥🔥

Hast du auch einen Deutschen Kanal? Gutes Video 👍
You said "I don't know why I am doing this but I think it looks cool " 01:43
You need to know that visuals , director, actor, etc serve the story not the other way around
What you did there is just one way to failure.
That's actually an interesting ambiguous way to start a story but you got a writer's block , right?
You need to know more than that just to call it an idea
I wish you aren't sad because of this advice 🤍
