what a fab travel day - think my fave bit was when you were coming in for landing and the wee girl just looking out the window!! thanks so much for sharing x
Great Vlog enjoying your travel day, I have a question, at 28:13 are the grandparents ok🤣🤣🤣🤣 , it’s hard work with a young child on a plane, well done.
With a lot of luggage and that many people you should have probably went with renting a small passenger van like a Ford Transit or Chevrolet Express. I remember from your previous videos you struggled with a Tahoe/ Suburban - which is mostly designed for 4-6 people fleet. Top tip with renting in the US, don't go for seat number, always book via cargo volume.
We did consider renting a transit van but as it was only a problem going between the airport & villa, we preferred to hire a more comfortable car, day to day we were fine in the Suburban 🙂
We fly out in May and have the same problem with flying with 7 people 2 of which are 10month old 4. I’ve booked a Tahoe but by the looks of it I’m going to need something bigger.. how did you go about upgrading to the suburban and did you have to pay any additional costs?
We tried phoning before hand and we got told there were no suburbans available for our date, when we arrived at the airport we asked and we’re told there was one available, it was going to cost an extra $700 which was more than Virgin had quoted for an upgrade so we managed to haggle and get the price down 🙂
Great to see you back. Love watching travel days
