This kit won't work if your dryer has two "holes" (knock-out-panels) on the left and two on the right, and you want to choose one of the front holes. The left front hole has the drive-motor in the way. And the right front hole requires a tighter radius elbow than the kit provides.
The kit works just fine if you want to choose one of the side rear holes or the bottom rear hole.
Cue video to 9:00 to see what a knock-out panel is.
Some dryers offer only three knockout panels. Others offer five. If yours offers 5 then the front side ones are not really available for a solution with this kit.

    Wow!
Great job, but unbelievably complicated, and labor intensive!
What about the installation of the Samsung DV-2A/XAA Side Vent Kit, used on the Samsung - 7.2 Cu Ft White 27" Front Load Electric Dryer, Model: DV400EWHDWR?

My dryer vent leaves the house on a south wall, the back of my dryer faces north, is it ok to vent 180 degrees +? Also when it gets to the end of the vent (south wall) the vent goes up hill approx 6"... I'm trying to figure out why my dryer is not venting properly with the exhaust hooked up. To be clear my approx dimensions and path are; 12" north -then- 12" down (lower) -then- 12 ft south -then- 6" up (higher) when it leaves the house.

+Jason Withrow I would suggest looking over the installation instructions. They will include venting instructions and venting charts to give you overall vent lengths. In general every turn is a huge restriction they recommend trying to keep the turns to 45 deg. 90's can be used but for every 90 deg. turn your dryer run is reduced approx. 10 feet. A 180 deg turn would cause a huge restriction and is not recommended.
