Glad you are blessed with a lot of hay this year.
👍👍
Love that old John Deere on the rake it sounds so good
With a V rake like that I actually started doing the headlands last, it works good cause you don’t wreck your end rows. Take care
Grant man is getting big !
👍👍
I worked in the oil refining industry for forty years. I have seen and collaborated with individuals who excel in their God given capabilities. I have watched your RUclips videos and You Sir are a special individual who (Kip) is blessed with those special talents to be a FARMER. You are not the only one out there, there thousands more like you that make this country work. You and all the others have my thanks and gratitude for your endless hard work.

Making hay is one of the nicest jobs on a farm 👍👍
Wow can't believe how much Grant has grown...so cute 🥰
I wish I could see inside that hay baler (?) So I could see how it makes those rolls......pretty cool!!! Seems like things are going good on the farm.😁😁😁😁 Be safe and God bless🙏🙏
another great video Kip, I enjoy the brief of what you are doing and equip being used
👍👍
That's a hefty rake. Great looking hay. Nice to get that all in without rain.

Wonderful hay. So big and thick. Just wonderful.
Good hay for you cows.
Great drone footage. Shows farming in America. Just wonderful.
You give good attention to your cows. Appreciate that. You are a great cow herd person.
Thanks for explaining the hay machine. That is one big machine. Does great with the hay.
Nice bicycle for your daughter. Good dad you are.
You all take care and be safe.
Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks for everything Kip.
The Iowa farm boy.
Steve.
Worst part of making hay is hauling all the bales home, but it beats feeding the cows 🐄 snowballs!! Great video kip keep rocking them out!
I just began watch y'all subscribed to the farm work reminds me of my childhood on my uncle's dairy farm in Pennsylvania.....👍🏻🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Some nice big hay. Happy Birthday Chloe God bless you all
👍👍

👍👍
Monster rake. Awesome. Drone work 👌🏻
The whole Kip and Kabutel . Stay safe Wolverine
Nice to see u are going to round baler.i can remember doing square bales with your dad. And putting them in the Barn.
Love your channel!
Love the videos! We run beef cattle in upper East tn. Still use new holland rake. We would not have room to turn that rake around in our bottom land.lol
Excellent video! Great editing.
I used to spend my summer working on my uncle's dairy farm back in the 60s and 70s and he always said that milk fever always hits the good cows
I love long windrows especially when they are like 1\2 Mile or better I run a 12 wheel sitrex rake we farm in southern Ohio love the videos kip and happy late birthday Chloe
Nothing beats an open station tractor for raking hay
That 4430 looks to be a power quad not a power shift ?
Nice video Kip !
One bad thing about ur videos,,,,,, not long enuff !! Thank you love when I get a notification of a new one
wow great farm.. how i wish we to have farm like this.
Reminds me of growing up. Good old dust in the face hay raking except I was using an 8N.
Great video Kip
Nice hay crop.👍👍
Just found your channel....you sure do like to see yourself on the screen....🤣
Kip check Sonne farms bailing, They got a JD attachment on the baler, allows you to drop the bales in a line it saves loading time.
That look like long field. Nice looking hay
Some good hay
I like that you drive on the bare spot keeps tractor from getting hay dragging underneath plus all the hay gets turned Do you spread manure on hay crop between cuttings The peat looking lot by the barn would be great 👍
Tim from Canada… you can tell the American, Walmart, you people have great respect for your Walmarts… come to Canada you will never get that much stuff at the Walmarts in Canada. It is sad on the watch. They try to sell at Canadian Walmarts. American Walmarts are much better.
Awesome video, baling hay was my favorite time of the year. If I lived closer I would volunteer to help. Miss being on the farm.
Love you GUYS ….Let’s go
Your blessed with alot of hay. Thanks for explaining how everything works.
👍👍
4430 Quad Range. Ran the same outfit disc mowing hay for many summers.
Interesting to hear about these tractors, the 6420 has 110 hp, the old lady has 145! But it obviously shows that these 110 hp are used more efficiently, after all there are almost 40 years of development between them.
That 4430 will out live everything on that farm. You’ll trade everything else off a couple times over and that 4430 will still be going down and back. 😃
Yes I agree after all these acres she’s my new tractor she snorts
Happy birthday!
👍👍
Good video
You should check out the bale carrier like Sonne farms has for their JD round baler
Hallo Kip bei uns gibt es dieses Jahr auch viel gutes Heu habe schon 700 Ballen auf 50 Hektar viele Grüße aus Deutschland
Glad ur getting a good crop of hay. You farmers deserve a break
Grant can’t milk tonight so make other plans for a replacement. He has given no reason 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Does Mrs. Kip work off the farm or is she one of the few lucky farm mom's who get to stay home or work on the farm?
Nice hay Kip. Thanks for bringing us along. Have you folks ever considered a bale accumulater? Check out the one Sonne Farms uses. Sure improves their efficiency. Let’s them drop everything in a line for much faster pick up.
You or very interesting to watch I injoy
Are you sure that is a power shift?-p-shift lust goes a notch forward -no clutch like 1-12 - I know you can shift or slao it over and back but have to clutch to go to next gear right? great video thx
How many bales did that 250 acres hay made I live in Kentucky morganfield
Curious as to why you wouldn’t start with your long rows in the middle, especially if you’re going to be waiting for a while on the baler?
How many times will you cut and roll your fields this summer , I hope you get extra to sell or trade due to everything else costing soooo much..
How do you keep the field so free of weeds, our hay field got aton of weeds this year......
Question. I haul animal feed commercially to many operations with 5000-10000 head of cows. Most have a commodity shed with between 10-18 specific ingredients. You don’t have this on your farm and still have healthy, happy cows that I presume give 100lbs/day, what gives?
Hey Kip, check out Sonne farms youtube hay baling - JD baler with accumulator. pretty slick and fast load out in the field. Love your channel!
On the 30 and 40 series sound guard style tractors if you're using a single acting cylinder (rake lift and maybe the haybine lift) you could hook it up to the left port of number 2 outlet (right side scv) and to lower it you can just put it in float and you don't have to hold the lever to let it down. Just a suggestion to streamline your turnarounds.
I use a 6410 with a Sitrex MK16 and it doesn’t even know the rake is back there.
I don't know if it is a rumour or not but my son-in-law said that round bales might be banned in Oklahoma. . . . it seems that the cows just could not get a square meal. 🤣
😄🍦🍦
Dear mr Siegler, could you pls not cut of footage at the moment it’s the most interesting. So, let us see the moment a round bail exits the bailer!!!! We’re the audience. Those moments are the finest. (folding/unfolding machinery). Keep on doing
I think I misunderstood. You’re not done Putting up hay this year are you? Second cuttings? Or does it all go to Haylage?Regardless thank you for the video. We’ve been blessed with rain finally. Tri-state area Illinois Missouri Iowa. Thanks for the video. God bless
How menny Rolls of hay did you mail
Just wondering if you guys had put any thought into getting that bale collector that Sonne Farms has added to there baler feel it has to be beneficial?
Was thinking the same thing!
Gotta save a ton of time and lots of fuel believe it would pay for itself!
Not the only one thinking that
Yes I want one bad, still trying to get everyone on board
You guys do everything right and it is an amazing hay crop for your area! So just thinking of things that could be beneficial to ya and things your dad can look for on the auctions! Always wishing you the best of luck
Can't get hay like that in Texas, without irrigation.😣😣😣😢😢😢😜😜😜
Everything is bigger in Texas!
How many bales?
What's the protein like on that hay??
Not sure, feed it to dry cows and heifers, milk cows get good second cutting pure alfalfa
What will be the total bale count? Thanks
We had 375 on that very happy and need it, mark said 100 just around the head lands
🚜🚜👍
Kip did she get up after you treated her?
Next morning gave her another round and she finally did, doing good!
Did the cow actually have milk fever?
Yes, gave her another round next morning and she finally got up and milked her that night
Aren't you burning more fuel w the duels on? Just saying let's go quicker w out the duels etc fuel ⛽️ 😎 prices are high !!! Ha :)!!
How did 141 make out
She one of the best right now 143👍👍
Your tractor is a guad range not power shift
Lot of bales. Be forever if you was doing small square bales
Yes the good ole days filling an old hip roof barn
Don’t miss doing that. It was Good conditioning for Football . That’s how the Coach from Hudson did and he got a 72 game win streak
Cheering lets go Brandon, Feeding the algorithm
