    Thanks a lot for sharing your list of memorable texts read this year and thanks especially for mentioning one of my books, glad to hear you enjoyed it. Also, I have shared your Patreon link etc. in a RUclips Community post just now and will do a video over the topic as soon as possible

    Solid list. On another note, I'm looking forward to your discussion with Todd McGowan, specially on Žižek's understanding of Absolute Knowing.
    Cheers

    I just finished hermeneutical death. Chad is not only a great youtuber but also an entertaining yet interesting philosophical writer. I highly recommend his book too.

    A really interesting list! I definitely want to get through some more Zizek at some point. Also, I hate to be pedantic, but wasn't the officer in NFTU a military officer rather than a "cop"?

      @@telosbound No worries man, I assumed so but thought I'd mention it anyway as I think this detail really amplifies the main character's alienation. Keep up the good work with the channel, hopefully current events won't turn you off from reading more Dostoevsky (if you haven't already)

    I read JOHN 8: If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
    32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
    33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
    34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
    35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
    36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

    Thank you for the video telos!
    I am a first-year student of philosophy at uni, and I’ve found your videos pretty interesting! (Not in the zizekian way of saying “interesting” to mean “boring”, but in its true sense :P)
    Since you seem to be pretty reliable... Do you think zizek’s work can be read prior to a good and deep study of Hegel or is it better to do the latter first?
    Thank you!
