My mom plays banjo and took me all over creation to bluegrass festivals when I was a kid in the 70s/80s. Couldn't stand it. Now that I'm older, I really enjoy the music and miss it. Thanks for doing the videos.
I come from a Bluegrass family. My great uncle, Gene Cobb was one of the first people to emcee Grand Ole Opry on radio. Homer & Jethro opened for his Vaudeville act. All that to say Uncle Gene and Grandpa Cobb would have enjoyed you. Thanks for a good time!
I'll be danged if you ain't right. I missed that one. Also, on the last one, if the car is turning, it is moving so even the spare tire is moving with the car. It may not be spinning but it is moving. I also missed the bottle one. Guess I'm gettin' old.🙂
I had recently lost my job and while I was unemployed and had sent out resumes I took my daughter to get a colonoscopy. The recovery room they brought her to just had curtains between the patients. I heard something that sounded like an air compressor nearby. (I couldn’t figure it out. Was somebody getting a breathing treatment at a colonoscopy clinic?) Just then I heard a nurse say, “Good for Mr. Thompson, you’re doing a good job expelling that gas.” The noise subsided just as my cell phone rang. It was a former boss, one of the people I’d sent resumes to. He was offering me a job over the phone and I was sitting there silently praying that Mr. Thompson would not tune up again.
ROLL HER OVER, ROLL HER OVER!!!!!! I absolutely love "NEWS FROM HOME." Y'all keep this ole Tennessee hillbilly laughing. But the best??? The fact that y'all are openly proud of your relationship with Jesus Christ. God bless you boys.
This right here is why RUclips is one of the greatest forms of expression literally anyone can do. Love the Bluegrass as well. A Hatfield/McCoy hybrid wishes the channel well. Do me a favor gentlemen and do us all a favor. Don't delve into politics. Keep the show about YOU 2!
Lardo and Burley, I enjoyed this very much! You guys are a lot of fun, and you play and sing great Bluegrass! Glad I found you! God bless, Brother Charlie
I could picture the whole hospital situation. Been there done that!! Gave me and wife a happy start to our weekend. Stumped us on all but one riddle. My grandson got me a Bologna cap for Christmas. It is really nice for the summer, I wear to church but, of course, I take it off before I go inside! Keep on praying! God Bless You I'll be ordering me a winter one before long.
I saw this pop up on my recommend list and I clicked it.. I sub to your channel.. I love the good wholesome content you are providing. I love Bluegrass music and how I wish I was able to play an interment. Keep up the great work.
I had one of them colon scopes last year. The Doctor was from India and as he asked me if I had any questions. I said "Yea, let me know if you find Jimmy Hoffa in there". as I drifted off to sleep on the knock out medication I heard him say "Jimmy Hoffa. Who is this Jimmy Hoffa"? About an hour later after I woke up he came by the room and said "Everything looked fine, and no Jimmy Hoffa". Very funny at the time, and yes I'm from Kentucky. Harlan County.
The answer you gave to the reservoir question is wrong. If the amount of water doubles every day, it would take 117 days to reach half full if it takes 118 days to become completely full.
As I'm listening to thie it sounds like I'm back in the 1970s a little kid and listening to my dad and uncle's talking and singing this is beautiful I miss Old pond Creek road up on Runyon branch in pinson fork Kentucky
Very cool to see your redwood bark package! Blue Lake is a wonderful little town. Each year there is a folk life festival and lots of wonderful blue grass music. There are lots of dairy and cattle ranches in Humboldt county, farmers markets, farms, great river and ocean fishing, and some mighty fine folks out there.
I love Bluegrass and all the people associated with it, real down home folks, and you guys are a hoot! Love your channel and the ‘news from home’ is hilarious! God Bless and keep doing what you do, I’ll keep smiling and practicing my banjo! Subscribed in Florida! ❤️🙏🪕
I really enjoyed ya'll! The jokes and music were excellent. The math one went right out the window for me--I'm allergic to numbers, ha! But really, I hate math. I got copy checks but forgot to put the divider in or put it between the check and copy sheet...no copy, lol. Anyway, love ya'll!
Am I the only one that caught the wrong answer given to the reservoir question? If the reservoir is full on day 118, then it was half full one day prior, on day 117.
If the reservoir doubles in size every day and it's full on day 118, then yesterday it must have been half full. So it takes 117 days for it to reach half full. NOT 59 days. Double 1/2 on day 117 is full on day 118. Sorry guys, you blew it. WRONG. Also, on the last one, if the car is moving then the spare tire is also moving. If you said which tire is not turning then you would be correct. Sorry, WRONG again.
It would take 117 days to get the reservoir half full. If the amount doubled every day it would double again the next day and be full on the 118 day. You'll must be using Kentucky math or a Kentucky reservoir one.
I can sit with these guys all day listening to their stories drinken ice tea with sugar!! I show can!
Hey, the water answer was wrong. It is 117 days. If it doubles every day, it would have been 1/2 full 1 day before it was full.
I was about to post the same thing. Except my post would have started with, “Hey Morons.”

If the water doubles everyday it'd be 117 days for it to be half full on the 118th day it doubled again and became full
I'll be danged if you ain't right. I missed that one. Also, on the last one, if the car is turning, it is moving so even the spare tire is moving with the car. It may not be spinning but it is moving. I also missed the bottle one. Guess I'm gettin' old.🙂
yes, I thought doubling for another 59 days , they didn't say full was over flowing!
The power of exponential growth.
Sure do miss Kentucky and Tennessee music and the good people, play on, carry on, and live forever...🤗
Yes live in the mountains of SE Kentucky and love it!

That riddle with the reservoir half full answer would be if it doubles each day would be half full the day before it is full.
if the reservior doubles every day, and it full on day 118, it's half full on day 117.
Burly, I spit out my coffee laughing so hard at your first story. Love y'all. MALA Making America Laugh Again.

Wayne's World, Wayne's World
That’s som mighty fine a pickin an a singin
If the lake doubles every day and if full at 118 days means it would be half full at day 117.
You Hickabillys are fine as frog hair,
Thank you 😊
You'll be good to go alright!
Come up to Wisconsin.
Thanks!
Plus, a lot of cars don't have spares anymore.
@@calhensley820 Really? I didn't know that. I would NOT purchase that car! I would get a flat tire every time I drove it!
Those guys are Badd Azz! 👍👍🇺🇸
Bravo!
Mister Hammond, your a spunk.😎
Yehar guys🇬🇧🤘👍🤠
That's hilarious. I've just subscribed!
God bless you and I hope your colonoscopy is "smooth".
The water in the reservoir-you said the water doubles every day,so wouldn’t it be 117 days to only be half full?
It would take 117 days to get the reservoir half full. If the amount doubled every day it would double again the next day and be full on the 118 day. You'll must be using Kentucky math or a Kentucky reservoir one.
Where are you playing next?
I subscribe!
I tell you fellers jokes all time
What brand of thumb picks do you guys use?
Redwood bark?
👍🇸🇪❤️.
Too many sausages, boys
Nice
Howdy y’all.
The camera in the middle that gets both of the guys together in the same frame doesn't seem to have quite a vivid clarity as the other two cameras do.
117 days
