    I was born in 1977 and was just awestruck by the Countach and was 12-13 years old when the Diablo hit the streets! I still love them both but would absolutely love to afford a Diablo to cruze around in!!!! They are such beautiful cars!!!!!!!!!

    I was born in '94 in Miami and lived the first decade of my life in South Florida so I saw Diablos occasionally. To be honest, I prefer them over even the newer designs Lamborghini currently produces even if they are far more powerful.

    I couldn’t agree more, Blake. I got a Testarossa last year for what I consider a criminally low price (also undervalued if you ask me). My goal for 24 is to find an early RWD Diablo to hang out in the garage next to her. Who needs power steering when you are hitting the gym everyday? 😁

      Concur on the TR! The Diablo’s stablemate is a yellow 348 Spider which I also find to be undervalued but it does appear they’re rising this past year!

    The 1993 RWD Diablo would be my 3rd or 4th choice of Diablo after the SE30 Jota, SE30 and maybe one of the early SVs. I'd want to put an SE30 aerofoil on the back instead of the standard one or just remove it. There were some videos back in the 2000s of someone driving their DIablo VT around some place in Europe to some kick-ass 90s dance music - I lost the copies I had of those but was a pleasure just to listen to them with that engine and transmission sound. These cars are definitely under-appreciated; they stood for the peak of the big heavy and real raw supercars - there was no mistaking a Diablo for a sports car - everything from the scissor doors to the sound and that it wasn't just an impressive 0 - 60 spec made it a supercar and even someone who didn't know about cars could tell just by seeing it! I think if you parked this next to a modern Ferrari, this would get more attention.

      Video says he bought it in 19. If it's financed he's probably half way through the life of the loan on a super low APR. Value has increased since 2019. You should take a lesson in logic, reason and/or critical thinking and problem solving.

  • @captain_context9991
    @captain_context9991 6 месяцев назад +2

    Diablos are still not considered highly collectible for a number of reasons. They are dreadfully poorly built, ofcourse. As you would expect from its time. But they never did any racing or anything amazing in their time. And for some weird reason the Countach was the poster car.

    • @Sikeslikescars
      @Sikeslikescars 6 месяцев назад +1

      Like you said, cars from that time are just built like that. So I dont think that is having an effect on the value. The countach being the poster car isn’t weird. It was the first of its kind and every kid teen and man wanted one. It was literally THE poster car so of course the follow up won’t be loved quite the same. It’s similar with F40 and F50. People the F50 but not near as much as they love the f40. It’s just what happens when you try to follow up something that was so successful

    • @harryo6126
      @harryo6126 5 месяцев назад

      What the? who told you they were poorly built? simply not true. Cars from the 80s and 90s all had visible screws in the interior, it's just how things were back then, you might as well compare a new cell phone to one from 1992

    Diablo is way overvalued. Too heavy unreliable and expensive to fix and maintain. for 250k better buy Huracan and enjoying performance every day instead of paying to shops for repairs)) Diablo is cool car, but was 30 years ago

    • @harryo6126
      @harryo6126 5 месяцев назад

      If you're looking at it from a financial perspective then how about the fact that a Huracan loses 35% of its value in the first year and then steadily after that with no chance of ever becoming investable as they made so many. Diablos are simple cars mechanically, so repairs aren't so crazy, very reliable too, plus they are only going up and up in value.

    • @silhouette300
      @silhouette300 5 месяцев назад

      @@harryo6126 Diablo is reliable?)) Comparing to what? I know at least 2 owners of Diablo who made complete engine rebuilt on 30-40k kilometers) From financial perspective better but used Huracan

    • @harryo6126
      @harryo6126 5 месяцев назад

      @@silhouette300 I've owned three, I still have one, they're reliable, engines are bullet proof. You can always be unlucky but in general the old analogue cars are easier to deal with as the electronics are almost zero. In 3 years time you'll be able to get a Huracan for $50k and less. They made too many, besides they're too high, supercars should be low.

    Undervalued? The price is still ridiculously high for such a crap car.
    The car offers nothing apart from a very cool exterior styling.
