This cream case with Noctua fans, and maybe the leather handles too, would be a slick looking machine.
Brown is the best colour
with the noctua brown I think the black case would be better
They should do a build of this in noctua colors with the Nocutua edition LTT driver
They should revise noctua PC with this case
Agreed. Anywhere Noctua's colour scheme fits, it *really* fits. Things tend to become more than the sum of their parts.
Honestly a flat-pack, modular PC case feels like one of those "why did no one think of that before??" ideas.
In hintsight it feels like an obvious evolution from IKEA furniture 😅
ive thought about it a long time ago. just didnt have any capital to make it happen.
Teenage engineering has one of these flat pack pc case. Tho it’s not modular.
some boutique SFF pc case like the formd t1 do this flatpack shipping
I think Alex really did a great job at demonstrating why it's not that good of an idea especially intriguing build quality,
.. because IKEA furniture is total garbage and made from pressed wood and recycled scrap metal.
"Does that mean it's more expensive?"
"So that's why the quality is higher"
Larry dodging like a NINJA!!! Haha, fair play to him though, looks like he's got his hands quite full babysitting Alex xD
That thing actually looks sick. I love when manufacturers take the time to make things the correct way and even though it's little things like screws or powder coating, it really adds up to make the product feel more premium.
inwin makes some wicked good stuff. one of the better teams out there
If you blur your vision, it looks like a Mac Pro. Would’ve been useful for that one video where you all made of Windows version of set Mac Pro.
I thought it was a MacPro clone at first. I like it.
the dune pro lives on
@@destructodisk9074 Exactly. Still one of the best looking cases for understated simple design without all the flashy ricer boy crap they make cases with now.
As a IKEA fan, I really appreciated this approach. lots of modding and 3D print potential!
whyt isn't inwin more popular? they've consistently made amazing cases for years now
I'm glad they're still around - they were my go-to cases back when I was building Pentium (original 166mhz etc) PCs.
They're literally almost impossible to get in the UK from main PC parts retailers unfortunately
Because they're expensive AF.
They don’t advertise like the other big brands. They also don’t sell near as many and have wild designs so they sometimes cost a bit more. But yeah they are awesome, I hope they stick around for a long time!
insanely expensive is why, id assume
flat-pack PC DIY case is a great idea. So much easier to customize and swap custom panels.
The best part of this is that 3rd-party vendors can sell their own panel designs. Virtually limitless customization.
legit would be giving some consideration for a replacement case if I could get someone to make me one with a 5.25" slot
We should have more of these. Smaller footprint for shipping, the modularity and ease of adding personal touches, and of course the joy of having to build one yourself. Well done InWin.
i love the flat pack idea, because painting or wrapping would be SO easy at that stage.
Love the content. Can't wait for the chance to buy the stubby screwdriver. Keep up the good work. You guys are my favorite news source on the Internet.
More stoked about the stubby screwdriver. I find them way more versatile that a full sized one. Especially with 2" bits, but the fit needs to be tight so the longer bits don't wobble all over the place
The brass trim and screws looks amazing. I like that idea for a case. Instead of factory rivit together and ship in big box, ship flat and screw together!!! Then we can paint and make our cases even more custom!!! I wish more vendors did this... Ahem Fractal!!!!!!
I really like that you can use either a glass side or a solid metal panel side.
Reminds me of a Mac G5 tower, which I'm a huge fan of, since I converted mine into my PC.
Despite being a flat pack, that seems to be a pretty good quality case. I love the way it hints at retro style with the beige/cream color as well. InWin really did a fantastic job here.
As an owner of an InWin 925 a case that weighs about 45 pounds thick brush aluminum case with thick tempered glass panels , I can say they don’t disappoint with quality. It’s almost like when you grandparents tell “they don’t make things like they used to no more”, these guys are like, we will make a small footprint for shipping and fun putting it together without sacrificing quality and aesthetics, I’m sure I’ll buy it
when it comes out.
This case looks amazing! not usually one for fancy cases and I currently have a fully blacked out case with the only embelishment being the brushed aluminium looking front but Man does this one just tick all the boxes for me. like industrial art, really really cool
Dude, that case is sick, would love to get my hands on it, and the thing would become a center piece.
Also the way it's packed, beautiful, and seems fun to put together.
More and more companies are figuring out the assembly step is the most expensive and can often be passed onto the consumer. It also creates a market for people who want to build custom PCs and can put these together for people as part of that process.
Leave it to InWin to create such a cool design. They've always produced rugged high quality cases. Built like tanks and still have 3 from 30 years ago. So innovative, with sliding motherboard tray, modular panels, removable drive cages, and rear cable routing before it was a thing. The only thing missing were front panel USB ports and jacks....they weren't in until 10 years later.
such a nice case. And honestly would love to see you guys do a full build in InWin's POC mini-itx Tower on LTT. looks like such a fun little case that can still hold a nice GPU.
they have a great base for a custom case system
just make the parts compatable with the base case config
These new cases coming out are super cool
Happy to see Inwin again. I'm still rocking an archaic 904 Plus.
This was a great video.. great ad for Dubili too. I’ll definitely be saving up for that
between the flat packs & the fully modular, DIY PC cases are becoming a whole lot more interesting & accessible
That's a really good looking case. I love the colour.
Powder coating isn't quite more expensive due to needing to do individual panels so much as the need to wire them up individually(vs paint, where you can set it flat and hit one side before letting it dry before hitting the leftovers). since you need to run a charge onto the individual pieces to get the powder to adhere. If cerakote was cheaper, that might've been a good way to go vs powder coating them.
The potential with this case and design is sparking lots of ideas!
I'm surprised that the champagne/Noctua-ish color scheme was their floor model. Steve from GN took a tour of the InWin art/design space, and the InWin reps said they were probably not doing a run of the champagne and only doing black or white. Which would be a shame, because the champagne with the gold plated screws/rivets and the brown leather accents looks amazing. One thing I'm a bit confused about, though, that looks like a mid tower, but Alex called it a full sized case. Is it a full tower or a mid?
These cases are cool as hell. Definitely considering these for my next build!
Can't wait for this case to go live in the EU stores, really looking forward to put my pc into this new shell
beautiful looking case.
Really cool stuff. Love that you have more freedom in case layout and customization. Fan hub for the win
I am 100% getting one of these as soon as it’s available in Australia, well done InWin
this case would be a great idea for case moddders/painters especially those who wanna do a sick paint job or custom design
I got a VERY strong IKEA vibe here and I've bought things in Ikea only to assemble them :D
It's not how long it takes, it's how much fun it is assembling it and this seems an extreme amount of fun!!!
Just like the ITX that Steve showed; very good looking cases in a confidently mature style.
I would love to see them produce that case and then sell modular components for the top bottom and front for additional radiator support. An additional 4 in for push pull component would be absolutely beautiful for that case
Flatpack PC cases, really cool idea, wish someone did a budget one that is not clear acrylic. The savings on shipping no doubt more than offset the costs of extra screws and threaded holes.
I completely forgot about Parvum cases. I used to see them everywhere on forums in really cool build logs. I only ever bought their modcubes as the cases were way out of my price range.
This will be my new ‘Max Pro’ case - love it!
A great idea and a very nice case
That is a gorgeous case
Is that a mini LTT screwdriver?
Man is this A) a great idea and B) something the market has needed - with enthusiasts building and upgrading parts, why not introduce a case that fits the prospective customer and allows for the awesomeness to be shown off! Love it!!
was just fidgeting with my thermaltake core p3, man they should make more wallmoutable pc's I love being able to swing it around as I want when working on it.
I hope they come with an option to go without an window but an closed non rgb approach, also I love to see the psu on top for an better gpu airflow
I'm really excited for the industry to go this direction, riveted cases are so annoying if you want to mod them or store them when you get a new one
G4 Mac Pro that you build and customize on your own?
In-Win is having a LAUGH with this one and I'm here for it.
I hope they have a mesh side as well as the tempered glass option. Modular cases look like the future to me!
Cool idea idea im all for it, IKEA Pc Cases, saves on the costs and if you could buy each part individually would be great in terms of customization options and savings
Its gonna cost more than a normal INWIN case, so not really any costs saved.
as this was not mentioned here...
info from Gamer Nexus coverage: the colour-way shown off will probably not make it to mass production
Love it! Imagine how easy this would be to mod into some awesome custom monster of a machine.
I honestly hope LTT can do something like this with better routing for cable management. Like God Tier cable management.
Can't wait to see the ITX 15L< version of this 😊
Looks really classy in this color especially if the leather parts are used!!
That's a pretty decent looking case!!
LMAO, I emailed LTT support asking about a short LTT screwdriver so i could bring it in my carry-on, and they hinted about waiting a little bit. I was nice though and kept the news to myself. AWESOME!
That is a very nice looking case it’d be nice if it came in a ITX form factor but you can fit like a 4080 or lower in that case and in a vertical stance it would look fantastic.
And totally smashed all the way around so the ventilation would be a lot better
That's sick!!
I'd love a fully modular case. Lately I have been a huge fan of other cases I don't want to part with when I eventually upgrade.
I love the idea of flat pack cases and always wondered why they are so rare. If nothing else it guaratees that you don't have a bunch of rivets that will limit what you can take apart and the shipping is way cheaper.
its a beautyful computer case!!!!
so question, do you put the Motherboard in the tray before or after the assembly? because i feel that could save some hassle
I like it! hope it comes in a silver colour way, for my next build i want to use a modded apple G5 case, but this looks very similar and would love to see it with a solid metal sidepanel.
Finally, a case that Noctua fans would feel at home in.
Pc gaming is dead leave it .and move on to consoles now .or cloud gaming instead.
@@Noob._gamer nice bait
I feel like the cable management would be so beautiful
Curious question, with it being modular is there an option to opt for a second metal side plate vs the tempered glass?
I would like to see some customization options, such as omitting fans if you want to use your own, and I think this flat packing method will make that possible.
As someone who has to ship in all computer parts due to local unavailability, this is a gamechanger. Wow!
I have 8 brown noctua fans and noctua air cooler in an all white case and I DESPERATELY want to build it all in to this champagne/cream colored Dubili case 🤩
This is very cool!
This case is gorgeous, makes me want to replace the one I already have :)
I want it NOW!
I commented on the GN video the other day when they covered this case, but thanks to the better close-up shots you guys at LMG have done I can confidently say that they needn't change a thing with this case.
Take the case as it is, and offer it with all of the colour and features shown in this video, that golden champagne colour scheme is just perfect, I love it!
Perforated front panel, Solid side panels, add in some sound dampening foam or other material (like recycled denim insulation) to the internal faces of the side panels to help with reducing acoustic vibrations from fans and such and you are sorted.
I would happily pay £200-£300 for a case like this.
InWin reps say it will cost about 550 to 600 Euros, about double of your estimate.
A lot of assembly, but just being able to custom paint it will make me search for this type of product in the future.
I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking that this looks like the perfect case for a Hackintosh.
Stefan Etienne was just ahead of his time. You do need an Allen key for building a PC.
Good idea but hopefully the production and tolerances are better than most of the flat pack sheet metal goods you get that you wind up having to force into alignment. If it sells decently hope they really start to do some wild and crazy configs around it.
They could have easily added a shroud for cable management right? It looks beautiful, but just not having that sheoud and all that cables will now make it look cheap...
that case is gorgeous.
"This is a case you'll definitely want to read the manual... Let me ask Manuel what's next?" 🤣
We lowered our production cost and made our users assemble the case! A win for inwin
I still remember my InWin Q500A
It was so big.
Man I love that cream color case! If only I could find pc parts that would actually match it! lol
Content creator: "More information down in the Dubili Do."
InWin: "Yes, I do build."
Man, I hope this is somewhat affordable because it's pretty freakin' awesome. I think he said the front supports 3 140mm fans; would it also have enough clearance for a 420mm radiator? I'm currently running Arctic's Liquid Freezer II 420, so compatibility would be the only thing holding me back.
looks dope
Interesting idea, however as someone who on occasion needs to move my PC, I prefer the case to come in a full size box that can protect it during moves
very cool idea
Oh wow that’s actually awesome, why did no one think if IKEA PC cases before?
Next step pick your unique case size and they mailed the pieces for your specific build on demand!!!
if this high quality jewelry looking case has good noise reduction and airflow optimized design, i would extra over equivalent cases
form and function!
They should sell a raw, un coated part set! Being able to do things like hydro dipping or painting it yourself would be awesome!!
as long as there is an option for 5 1/4 inch bays then youve got one customer at least, i love the legally distinct mac pro vibes. gimme a gray version with 5 1/4 inch bays and thats a perfect pc.
That's actually pretty nice. I'd be interested if you could get pieces in different colors, especially those beautiful screws.
This years Computex is absolute crazy
Looks nice
inwin really going into a new personal level build
Love the champagne colorway. So posh.
