I re read them at least once or twice a year, the harrowing zombie Sith students and overwhelming hoards never get old, especially when Death Troopers has Han Solo and Chewie himself taking on the un-dead! totally recommend for horror fans, even if Star Wars isn't your thing, such a cool concept!
Oh damn. Even more zombie shit in Star Wars? Awesome! Thought those worms from the Clone Wars tv show was the only parasite/zombie thing in Star Wars. Edit: PLEASE READ THESE COMICS ON THE CHANNEL!!!
Great work as always! I have a suggestion: the FEV from Fallout. I know it's not a film/comic, but I think you'd do a great job breaking it down. I subscribed because of your disease breakdowns, they're lovely.
Ooh, I can write out a synopsis; the FEV was developed in 2077 by West-Tek researchers, hoping to develop a cure for biological weapons used by the Chinese in the Resource Wars. However, they found the serum was better suited to creating super-soldiers and the research was seized by the US government and conducted at Mariposa Military Base. However, the soldiers assigned to the base were disgusted by the inhumane and lethal testing conditions which were used on live prisoners, Chinese POWs and regular Chinese-Americans. The soldiers revolted, executed the scientists and sealed off the base. They brought their families and their T-45B power armor to Broken Hills, where they would found the Brotherhood of Steel. A couple hundred years later, a former Vault Dweller, now trader, named Richard Grey was exploring some ruins with a business acquaintance named Harold. There were some other people but they all died. The surviving two came across some vats of green liquid in the former Mariposa base, falling in, they both succumbed to the FEV. Harold becoming a ghoul-like mutant who would later become a tree, and Richard becoming a blob-like hivemind that would later be known as the Master. In the early 2160’s, the Master began experimenting using the FEV vats, “dipping” captured humans to turn them into mutants. Most large and muscular, some twisted beyond belief and even some psychic. He believed Super Mutants were the next step in human evolution and were needed if we were to survive in the harsh, post apocalyptic world. He also learns that the virus is most effective on humans with minimal mutation due to radiation, AKA pure-strain Vault Dwellers. This way they retain most, if not more of their intelligence; otherwise their dum. The Master begins to amass a massive army of Super Mutants which he controls telepathically, and orders them to raid human settlements and Vaults to find humans to kidnap and convert. An unknown Vault Dweller, while searching for a replacement water chip, came across the Super Mutant threat in the city of Necropolis. This eventually led them to destroying the Vats in the Mariposa base (at the cost of all their companions), and the Master, either by convincing him Super Mutants were sterile and could not be sustained, or shooting him in the face. By 2241, the remnants of the Pre-War US government have begun crawling out of the shadows like cockroaches in nice suits in the form of the Enclave. From the Poseidon oil rig, they kidnap miners from the town of Redding to excavate the Mariposa Military Base and recover what’s left of the FEV virus. Unlike the Enclave troopers, the miners do not have advanced power armor and are exposed to the FEV and begin to mutate. They seize weapons and turn on their captors, though these “2nd generation” mutants are not as bright as the first generation created by the Master. Then I dunno, I skipped the Military Base entirely when I played FO2. The Enclave takes back samples of the FEV and begins testing to convert it to a virus to wipe out anybody BUT pure-strain humans, like them. Meaning Super Mutants, and humans who’ve stayed outside for too long. They also do some mutation testing, creating the massive Secret Service Agent, Frank Horrigan. Then a descendant of the original Vault Dweller blows up the oil rig. Then the Enclave somehow escapes to DC and they kept the FEV and are going to put it in the water and go through with the original plan, also a bunch of Super Mutants have popped up but they’re all dum-dums. The Institute has ALSO somehow created FEV completely independently and Bethesda is really bad at writing. Meanwhile back on the Best Coast (for Fallout games to be set), the remaining Super Mutants struggle with their sanity and place in the world, as bias against Super Mutants among humans is still strong, and many Super Mutants and nightkins struggle with memories of their past and Stealth Boy addiction. All of them are remnants, set adrift by the death of the Master and the loss of his commands. Some try to rally around any kind of Mutant leader that reminds of them of the Master.
Btw, if you wanna read the story that originated this virus, the novel Death Troopers (not to be confused with the death troopers from the Rogue One movie) is a fantastic read. And as far as I am aware, it was the first to even reference it by name as well
I think I might still have zombie stormtroopers in the Star Wars commander app game, I stoped playing cause there wasn’t much content and the game would crash mid fight but I got some zombies and never used the tokens for them
The Star wars franchise has lots of laser guns, laser swords, aliens, robots, star ships, and galactic battles, but didn't expect that there would be zombie apocalypse across the Galaxy, now that's something I definitely want to see, as a zombie myself would be interesting. I mean- BRAINZ!
Me: So basicly we used our most powerful weapon on billions of innocent people, while in the meantime we had a dangerous and fast spreading virus yes? Empire Officer: Ummm... Yes? Me: And you say that our empire is so great huh? Empire Officer: Hey! What do you expect?! Our soldiers can't even shoot straight!
Something that needs to happen for Star Wars as they need to start getting into the mature level. Hell, the MCU did it with Deadpool and Wolverine, which was an R rated movie. If the MCU can do it, then so should Star Wars and I would’ve rather seen a TV-MA series adaptation of it over skeleton crew.
Wow! I must say I didn't think something so gruesome as what others became from the Blackwing virus would exist in the Star Wars universe. I mean sheesh, their skin is like decayed and bloodied beyond recognition and they're missing limbs. Then again, the only experience I have of Star Wars is the movies and the Clone Wars TV show. Also, something else that creeps me out about the infected Stormtroopers is how some of them have their mouth-guards of their helmets seemingly torn out. FilmComics himself said that the infected have the ability to learn to the point of operating complex machinery but started out mindless and slow, so I'm thinking that seeing as how they best transmit the disease by biting, that of course the first thing they attempt to do is get their helmets off so they can use their teeth, and yet with the limited intelligence they likely have at the time of this early objective the only thing they probably can think to do is tear apart the lowers of their helmets until they can expose their mouths. That's truly creepy, and don't even get me started on some of that artwork for them... 0_0

Do the sith tribe vestroya is from in the award winning fate of the Jedi series
This needs to be a movie holy shit
I agree Mickey!
"They accidentally released the virus"
*Yeah of course thats how zombie movies work*
Wow! Amazing video! The books Death Troopers and Red Harvest are some of my favorite star wars expanded universe novels ever!
Grim Gamer and the dathomir undead
It was in star wars commander so it should be canon.
Mnngal-Mnngal is another except it’s not really a virus
Saberstriker19 - That thing is OP for a virus since it can be basically anything
Checkout the Rakghoul virus
Great work as always! I have a suggestion: the FEV from Fallout. I know it's not a film/comic, but I think you'd do a great job breaking it down. I subscribed because of your disease breakdowns, they're lovely.
I'll add it to the list Applesauce! thank you, once again :)
This book was so awesome. A Star Wars Book that actually scared me.
Btw, if you wanna read the story that originated this virus, the novel Death Troopers (not to be confused with the death troopers from the Rogue One movie) is a fantastic read. And as far as I am aware, it was the first to even reference it by name as well
love that they added this in SWG too with the quarantine zone and questline
Pontypool [2008] virus?
I havent seen it yet, but will add it to the list, thanks Fire!
FilmComicsExplained yes u should pls! It’s quite unique actually!
FireKTN what is it about ?
As someone on imbd said
"It's a zombie flick that isn't a zombie flick"
FireKTN Why did you add the year? There aren't other Prototypes. .w.
Zombie mode in battlefront????? They could do this for like dlc???

thats kinda ewok hunt, you die by an ewok and become an ewok.
damn that was so good. I am not even very interested in star wars.
awesome dude!
same. btw i subbed
RaidingLuna good for you
RaidingLuna so did the 60,000+ people
Same
This has to be made a movie. In fact i might email Disney about this when they make good starwars movies again
this needs a movie
Vader: what are you?
Blackwing: I am the monument to all your sins.
The only thing scarier than an elite soldier who can't hit anything is a zombified elite soldier who learn to hit nothing
I think I might still have zombie stormtroopers in the Star Wars commander app game, I stoped playing cause there wasn’t much content and the game would crash mid fight but I got some zombies and never used the tokens for them
No they were in the expanded universe long before that app
Steve C. He never said that the game made them up
@@noboniusnobby3100 He means that the game added them to canon
They made a returning cameo in the game Star wars commander for Mobile
Bro i can't get enough of your episodes!!
This was in Star wars commander on mobile. I got some of these guys.
Love the way you explained Project Blackwing. Love all of you content. Please, keep up the hard work you put into your videos.
thanks brian :)
Been waiting for this all day 4 realz!
I would love to see a movie or a series Abuout the scary horror virus in star wars
I would pay good money for a star wars game series that revolves around the black wing virus
This is the definition of someone wishing spiders could fly.
We need a movie for this
If the Blackwing virus was introduced in the movies it would probably be a R Rated movie
Death Troopers is a fantastic book, you should be able to find it at your local library.
I would love to see this in star wars battlefront 2
harrison smith *Cough* there is a mod in the 2005 version
I find the lack of a film adaptation disturbing.
Me watching this while the corona virus is happening and now i'm shitting myself
Star Wars + Zombies=instant gratification for me
Another piece of lore about the Star Wars universe that I didn’t know about. God damn it man 😤😤
Never knew SW can be Gory
If only they embraced it more
Just some movies I think would be cool for you to try making a video on: Children of Men, “9” (the animated movie), & Snowpiercer. Love your videos btw
Victor Mireles have you read the Snowpiercer graphic novels?
I've already got children of men on the list, but will add 9 and snowpiercer to the list now, thanks :)
FilmComicsExplained nice
JoziGrrl I have not, are they any good?
This could be a potential horror game
Zombie vader: I am your father
Witch sky walker: *screams like the witch from L4D*
I like Star Wars, and I like zombies! Also, got a request for you Niyat, could you cover the virus in the Marvel comic where all of the supers become zombies? Love your vids man!
marvel zombies? Yeh buddy its on the list :)
FilmComicsExplained is that the one with ash from evil dead?
It's a shame Disney got ahold of Star Wars. It could have been so much more than the produced under Disney
While true, it wouldn’t have the funding it has now, and it probably would’ve died out before we even got the prequels.
Nice Video😀 The editing is 👌 just like always
Thanks buddy!
Never have I thought I would hear the words “Undead” and “Star Wars” in the same sentence.
I watched a TikTok about black wing so I just searched up what is project black wing and saw you
Same
Only if it was canon 😞
Would love to see it in a stand alone film like Rogue One
THEY ARE CANON
julian rodrighugez the virus is canon but i believe the books surrounding it arent
The virus and an outbreak on Dandoran are canon.
Who says it isnt?
It's in star wars legends(which is canon)
So it's basically a zombie virus. In star wars. Zombies that gets smarter. But why didn't it pop up in any of the movies?
UserPlayz
Because even the empire is smart enough not to mess with something this mind bogglingly dangerous
@@anthonyrodriguez6456 The Empire, yes. The Emperor and/or Vader...obviously not.
Because it isn't canon
Good job
Thanks Brendan!
Unpopular Opinion:
The Blackwing Virus is the Star Wars version of The Flood from the Halo series.
I'd like to see someone make a Star Wars horror movie on the Blackwing virus.
