You should start off with something easy like most engine car small damage area and see how you get on

Nice one buddy, I fix salvage from driveway and record it but just have never put it on you tube.
Keep it up 👍
Thanks mate 😊
How hard is it to repair something like this Leon. I’ve no experience as a mechanic but want to start this.
It can be a challenge, but you have to get hands on to really understand it!
Hi mate I have recently bought a car from Copart and it’s delivered at my door, the thing I’m confused is how should I obtain V5C logbook kindly guide me. Much appreciated
Decent motor should be able to make a great profit from this one. Keep up the great work
Thank man means a lot and hopefully 🤞
nice video you mentioned its you first auction how do you know how to repair the car and what parts you need also where to you purchase spare parts
I’ve been buying a selling for a couple years it was the first time I’ve bought vehicles of auction tho and just look at the part numbers on the parts you take of and Google them or go to main dealer or breakers yard
@@restoringsalvage would your recommend starting with auction or just fbm etc
If you are starting out I would go with fb then at least you can have a good look around the vehicle before you depart with any money check out my latest video and you’ll see why you need to be careful when buying on auctions
nice, how you get around not having the V5
Just go post office and fill a v62 form
I take it they just stuck the V5 straight in your name once the payment was received?
No, this one I had to fill out a v62 form at the post office!
What's the small impact driver u using
It’s a sealey 3/8 impact wrench really useful tool
@@restoringsalvage where can I get one from pal thanks
@@Irfan-or9sd Amazon or Sealey website
How well did it go?
New video coming soon turned out very well!
did u learn how to do this online, or are you a mechanic ?
Learned mostly online mate
So Copart's retail estimate was £5660
You paid to Copart + delivery = £2200
You paid on parts & labour = £2500
You spent £4700 (£960 difference).
If you were to sell it, how much can you sell it for?
I did sell it, I think I made around £1000 on it, not bad as drove it for a good couple thousand miles before selling it
@@restoringsalvage thanks, do you think the Copart estimate are accurate once they're fixed?
No I wouldn’t go off it
