So much memories driving my 1981 Datsun 210 SL 5 speed Hatch back driving to and from the University of Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. Y-96 FM played this so much. 1984 my graduation year...Great memories I will never forget ❤

I always loved this song. I remember she came out with the song 'Love on a two way Street' , my daddy thought it was so cute to hear a little girl singing about that.. He said "what she know bout that!?" .. Lol.. She could really hit those high notes. Johnny Gill's career really took off, I think she started singing Gospel music. Both sounded So MATURE, and PROFESSIONAL.to be so young.. .She's very talented, but seemed shy on stage.. Its just pure talent, she never acted overly sexual or provocative, back then you didn't have to. Your talent spoke for you, and people loved you for your beautiful voice, not because you were half dressed!
