I agree that emo look felt out of place for Bruce Wayne. The Penguin was also a stand out character. Also I didn't care Catwoman character and I feel as though the character was not really needed. Then again I could be wrong with the Catwoman statement.
Batman reminded me of a conflicted police officer in a woke era. A few scenes during the 3rd act of the film I thought the movie would end & it just dragged. Patton did a decent job I had to realize that this was 2nd yr batman which explains why he may have been conflicted on trying to find the median between Batman & Bruce Wayne. He never distinguish himself which im surprised the riddler didn't figure out "hey! Are you batman" how did you know?? i mean he made it very easy Bruce Wayne in this movie was super weird. I like how they made it seem like he really didnt know like hes so brilliant but its still stuff the riddler doesn't know. The technology gave it a very realistic feel like i could go home & buy it on amazon i liked that aspect it didnt make it feel like he had billion dollar weapons. Collin Farrel A+ acting I would never believe he was the penguin. Zoey did a good job as catwomen. Michelle Phieffer is still the best but like this version as well. I do think they left the door open for future films wouldn't mind them digging deeper into the corruption with the villains working for the court of owls or something to that dynamic. I don't think this film has as much replay value not as much as my favorite batman films of the past. It wasn't a bad movie but it's not wowing me like I'm seeing in some other reviews I have to give it a 7-10 its very hard to not compare.....its called batman good review bro
