I am not sure about this, correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't soil mod cause crop destruction, when you drive through field? Then it might be a problem harvesting beets with towed harvester behind tractor, you coud possibly waste half of your field by crushing beets by tractors itself :-) Thumps up to keep it seen
again (+ last time ... ) Use GPS mod !! :p makes ploughing/cultivating/seeding much more efficient + better textures on the field etc ... + its faster and easier :)

Hay dagger great video, you seem to be having problems with that low loader trailer. Why don't you try red rocks trailer on FS UK it's a great mod and you can lock your loads.
the damage and repair mod works on any map. i use it on every map. you only need a vehicle torepair with. there is alos a tip anywhere mod called heaptiptrigger. this will save you putting down a heap everytime

bankee gaming has a mod where you damage vehicles and repair them with a trailer for a vehicle to tow and then you can repair and it varies in price for each vehicle but it does cost quite a lot tho
Why didn't you use the markers on the Horsch planter? In real life planting, unless you are using GPS, you would have lowered your markers and followed the mark to plant, watching you plant I cringed a little, FS doesn't recognize rows but you would have had some hard rows to follow in real life. As far as headlands, some plant them first, some plant them last, some just have grassed ends that they turn around on and just cut hay or mow their headlands.
I think your going to far with the whole realism thing, you say you wouldn't want to plough then cultivate then plant all in one day but if you had the man power you would, don't try to hard for realism, just remember it's a game
I can tell you've never disced before... Ikr you woulve missed about half of the field lol... And you don't have to lift up the disc if your going left but if you go right then you would have to lift up Becos you can't turn right while its down

don't bother getting fs15 now (even though its a good game) because fs17 will be out soon I would recommend them especially if you have an interest in farming
Thats just the thing with the preorder you get 2 tractors Pc can run at the minimum requierd specs recomended not released yet P.s. i expect FS17 a better version with more verhicels.
Hey Daggerwin. What is the name of the terrain mod ? is it specific to thorthon ? I installed the driveControl mod and it has some "bouncing ground response" as well but does not seem as "realistic" as your tractors in your videos of this map. I tried the "Terrain and dirt control" mod www.modhoster.com/mods/terrain-and-dirt-control but can't seem to feel what i see in your videos.
Ok never mind i saw the list below the video, you are indeed using the same mod as me, but on coldborough park farm seems less realistic that on thorton probably due do the map ground.
daggerwin on my really life farm your spouses to cultivate with legs because when your ploughing you leave wheal marks in the ground and your spose to cultivate at a slight angel.

You should cultivate or plow som manure in when you use soilmod it raises both PK and N alot so you dont have to spray that much. Just a tip ;)

If realism is key you should drive in all machinery at a maximum speed of 25 mph as that is the UK tractor speed limit daggerwin

Daggerwin the cultivator can turn either way as it is like a multidisc which has its discs at different angles to cut the sod's better.
Damage mod doesn't need to be in the map. But to use it without it in the map you need a tool that can fix it

Put a weight on the compact tractor, a heavy one so its not front heavy when picking up loads.

bankee gaming has a mod where you damage vehicles and repair them with a trailer for a vehicle to tow and then you can repair and it varies in price for each vehicle but it does cost quite a lot tho
Daggerwin maybe you should buy a shed and put it on the side of a field or by the reset point
there is a mod that's is a truck which allows you to repair other vehicles while using the damage repair mod it works very well
if you want to be more realistic then you should do headland last whatever you are doing unless its baling, raking, combining or tedding
and when you cultivated that field you should not turn with that cultivator cause you would damage it

if you put the manure in a placable heap then you would have to go back and forward to fill the heap and then the spreader so it would waste time.
you should do the headlands last while planting or you will crush your crops on the headlands

Manitou is the best we have just bought a brand new one for our 170 cow dairy farm
change that little john deere for john deere 5080R* it has 80hp and it is actually very useful in small fielwork and pectect for yard work
