    Hey man,
I have received an admit for MS Software Engineering at ASU. I want to know if MSSE students get the same opportunities for GA TA and others as MSCS students

TA, GSAs are extremely hard to get - bet it CS or SE.
I don't think SE would have less TA/Grader opportunities than CS.
It depends on the faculties research projects, funding, etc.

Hey bro, I’m coming for spring 2024. I wanna know i whether on campus jobs are available? Coz due to high volume of incoming Indian students, I heard that most of the on campus jobs are not available. Please clarify my doubt coz my parents are way too stressed about my living in USA.
    Thanks in advance 🙌

It's a challenge tbh and yes due to huge volume there is no guarantee that EVERYONE will land an on campus job. Having said that, most folks end up getting something or the other if not in the first semester then by the second semester.

I checked India's GPA scale(10 point) and an 8 is an A, which is very good. Why do you say it is super low?

From what I see in Yocket - most T20 schools pick really strong academic profiles - so either a 9+ GPA, or an IIT tag, or heavy research background.

Are there any chill and comparable on-campus jobs equivalent or less than a grader job?

Some assistant/aide roles are kinda chill. Depends on the exact role/employer/etc.

For TA does our IELTS score matter a lot ?
I am interested in computer vision domain and I am confident that my past experience will stand out from the crowd
in order to obtain a TA will my speaking score be an obstacle ? ( FYI: IELTS overall band is 8.0 and speaking : 7)
Could u please answer this ?

I think ASU only accepts TOEFL scores. So you might have the SPEAK Test.
"All teaching assistants whose native language is not English must Take the iBT (Internet-based TOEFL) test and receive a score of 26 or higher on the oral portion of the test. Alternatively, students can instead take the SPEAK Test - offered on campus at ASU, the SPEAK Test is the local version of the TSE. Students taking the SPEAK Test at ASU must achieve a minimum score of 50 for limited teaching capacity, or 55 for full teaching capacity."

I believe the embassy had mentioned that they’ll open slots in June. I’d also consider checking with agents who can get a slot for you.
